Itinerary
The starting point of the tour is next to the miniature museum
A famous landmark and must visit next to the tourist office and the donkey taxis in Mijas
Together with the San Sebastian church and the old town hall this pictoresque little square forms the heart of the historical center of the village
This is where the Bullring, the Parish Church, the old city walls and the botanical gardens are located
The Barrio Santana disctrict is pretty unknown; not many tourists are visiting this much more authentical part of the village.
Without a doubt the viewpoint above Mijas Pueblo is one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the entire Costa del Sol. On a clear day you may see the African coast.

Nice overview of the area and gets you to areas that are harder to walk to. Great for people who aren’t big walkers
My wife and I were here on a guided tour for 2 weeks, starting late September. We came from Granada, spent a little time with our Tour Director, and then we were on our own for almost 3 enjoyable hours. Mijas, a tourist town at the foot of the hills of the same name, possesses typically Andalusian houses. Its traditional status as a mountain village has been combined harmoniously with a major tourist complex located in the coastal enclave of La Cala, where there are 12 kilometres of beaches. Donkeys played a big role in the development of Mijas, working in the fields and carrying things all over. There's a bronze statue to honor them by the Tourist Office. Nowadays, they are used as Donkey Taxis for tourists. We had a bit of free time, which we did a walk around town, looking at sights and shops. We visited the Chapel of the Virgin of the Rock. We visited Museo Historico Ethnologico (Casa Museum), which showed the history of Mijas from the life and view of the workers, who worked in the fields under hard circumstances with little pay. It also displayed many of the tools and utensils of these workers, including farming tools, fishing tools, oil mills, a wine cellar, Mijas local cuisine, etc. There are also traveling art and local handicrafts exhibitions. After that, we wandered around, had a snack, and then visited the Miniature Museum. Here, various artists displayed their talents in doing a lot of artwork, but very much miniaturized. It was very interesting to see this and the skills of the various artists. However, the lighting wasn't great and many times, the reflections were bad for photo-shooting. I will attempt to rate the various sights that I mentioned above, and include only a couple photos from the sights.
Great views from the top! Much easier than walking if you have any trouble getting around! Very friendly and knowledgeable guide.
A good option for guests who might have trouble walking up the very steep and narrow streets of Mijas Old Town. The electric Tuk Tuk was the perfect vehicle for this tour. Guide was very nice and informative but would have appreciated the opportunity of a longer tour (it was 30 minutes) where we could get off and go inside the different buildings. The only stop we had was a photo opportunity in front of the viewpoint looking down on the town and surrounding area.
Our driver, Natalie, was amazing. She was professional, friendly, helpful, encouraged questions. Would definitely recommend her!
The tour takes you to places you probably wouldn't find on foot. The guide was very informative so you find out information you wouldn't get anywhere else * Be aware that they only run one tuk tuk on a Sunday so you can't book to go on two tours at tle same time
Great overview of Mijas Local guide with lots of great interactions with the locals adding a special touch to the tour.
Brilliant way to see this marvellous place in the hills above Fuengirola. We had already walked around the main touristy parts of the village but thought we would still have a guided tour in one of the tuk tuks. We opted for the longer 35 minute tour which cost 40 euros for four of us. We revisited most of the places we had previously walked around but the guides commentary made it very interesting. They also took us to places we would never have found on our own.
Brilliant tour of Mijas Pueblo, guide was super knowledgeable and the tuk tuk was a great way to see the town!
Our guide was excellent. So full of information and was patient with all of questions. It was a great day!
We did this tour last year in September and it was great. The driver was very knowledgeable and had good English. We were there just before the main festival so couldn’t access all areas, so we went back again this trip. Again, it was amazing. Our driver was amazing and made it so interesting. The town is very pretty and well kept and the sights are stunning. If you go to Mijas, make sure that you do a Tuk Tuk ride. They start from just up the hill from the donkeys and by the miniature museum. So much to see and such amazing views. Very enjoyable and well worth it.
First rate tour of Mijas Pueblo with very friendly tour guide Natalie in her tuk tuk. Would definitely recommend the electric powered tuk tuk, especially in preference to the donkey tours.
Very enenjoyable experience saw parts of mijas hadn't seen before. Been to mijas lots of times but it was good to see more
It was a really nice tour with the tuc-tuc! We learned a lot about Mijas Pueblo and its surroundings :) Recommended!
This tour is a great way to get an overview of the city. Our guide was very informative. We enjoyed the tour which gave us much insight on where we wanted to explore further.
Excellent tour of the town with knowledgeable and friendly driver/guide. One of our party is not very mobile so it was the perfect way to see the sights and get some knowledge and history. Four of us and our dog had a brilliant time. Also amazing value.
Amazing tour, we travelled just to do this tuk tuk tour our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us the amazing views of the town we wouldn’t of been able to figure out should we have walked the town. Thanks so much
Natalie is extremely knowledgeable and you get to see the whole village in one go, from the comfort of her tuk tuk!
This is an excellent tour which covers all of the highlights of Mijas pueblo and in great comfort. It takes you to places that you might otherwise miss including the quiet residential streets and the view point high above the town. The tour guide, in this case Natalie, gives a very comprehensive and clear description of all the town’s features. We live in Spain and take all of our visitors on this tour.
I am so glad we took this TukTuk tour. There was plenty of space to be comfortable in the vehicle and we go to visit all the important sites, some that we would never have noticed and learned absolutely loads. The TukTuk is the perfect size to negotiate the narrow streets and the tour was tailored to what we wanted to see. It really made our day and is our favourite memory of our holiday.
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, excellent tour guide provided great information. Amazing views through Mijas Pueblo, would thoroughly recommend
This tour is wonderful! Awesome tour guide with lots of history and hidden gems! The village is beautiful and the views are out of this world. Definitely recommend!
Enjoyable and comfortable drive/trip around MIjas with a good commentary by the driver, apologies, I forgot your name miss
Great overview of a beautiful little Andalusian village …. Go early and enjoy the serenity of the village before it gets bombarded with tourist buses .
If you are visiting Mijas Pueblo, I warmly recommend a guided Tuk Tuk tour with Rudi. He is exceptionally kind and truly phenomenal—offering a thoughtful route through the town while weaving in local history, recent news, and contextual insights that make every stop come alive. Our visitors from Singapore especially appreciated his clarity, pace, and personal attention; every question was welcomed, and every detail felt meaningful. What impressed us most was the authenticity: you can feel his love and care for the town, its traditions, and genuine customer service. This Tuk Tuk experience is a modern jewel of Mijas—beautifully presented, impeccably delivered, and deeply memorable. We finished the tour with smiles, new knowledge, and the sense that we had discovered the real Mijas Pueblo. Truly unforgettable and highly recommended.
Fantastic from start to finish. Tuk Tuk modern, safe and comfortable.Got to places and views not seen before. Great fun. Value for money. Highly recommend it.
Such a fun way to see Mijas Pueblo and to learn about some of the history and traditions. Natalie was so knowledgeable and easy to listen to; it was an eye-opener and educational but fun at the same time. She was very friendly and answered questions as we went. Great value for money. We probably should’ve done the longer tour but we were trying to stick to budget. Will definitely do it again if we go back.
We went on the extended Tuktuk tour yesterday and it was spectacular. Our driver and guide spoke exceptional English and was very informative. We went around Mijas, through the residential area and up on the top road where we stopped at the view point. The view towards the sea was amazing. We would certainly recommend this as a way to see Mijas. It won’t be running for the next few days because of the festival in Mijas.
Our Tuk Tuk panoramic tour in Mijas with Noella was outstanding. She was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the town, which made the whole experience both enjoyable and enriching. It was also very family-friendly, making it a perfect activity for all ages. A truly memorable way to explore Mijas! Thank you Noella you are a 5 stars Tour Guide my family and I have ever come across!
Thoroughly enjoyable tour with a very lovely and knowledgeable guide. We wouldn’t have seen all the sites around Mijas Pueblo if we hadn’t taken this tuk tuk tour. Highly recommend.
--- 🌟 A Hidden Gem Tour of Mijas – Unforgettable Tuk Tuk Experience! 🌟 We recently enjoyed a fantastic Tuk Tuk tour through the charming streets of Mijas, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From start to finish, the experience was excellent—comfortable, engaging, and incredibly informative. Our driver was not only warm and welcoming but also impressively knowledgeable about the area’s history, culture, and hidden corners. He has lived here with his family for 35 years. He took us to places we never would have discovered on our own, sharing fascinating insights along the way that brought the town to life. From panoramic viewpoints to tucked-away artisan spots, every stop was a delight. This tour gave us a deeper appreciation for Mijas and its rich heritage. If you’re visiting and want to see more than just the usual sights, I highly recommend hopping on a Tuk Tuk—you’ll be surprised by how much you learn and how much beauty you uncover. A big thank you to our wonderful guide for making the experience so memorable! ---
Fantastic way to see all of Mijas village. Great driver, Natalie, who knew everything there is to know about Mijas Pueblo. 35 minutes was just enough time to enjoy the trip. Highly recommend
Perfect way to start exploring Mijas Pueblo. During the ride you see the main sightseeing places and will be able to get your bearings. The lady guide was lovely and knowledgeable. After the ride it's easy to decide which direction you would like to stroll and what places you would like to explore more. I wouldn't recommend for small children as the village is quite hilly, busy and really not too much fun for small kids. However, for teenage girls it is a place to go - a mixture of culture and shopping...
This is the second time my daughter and I have done the full Tuk Tuk tour. There were eight of us in total this time, six of which was there first time visiting Mijas. Once again the tour was fantastic! Our drivers Natalia and Noelia were both friendly and so knowledgeable about the beautiful town. This is great a way to see the full town and view points as you would definitely struggle to do it on foot especially during the summer heat. Thank you❤️ I’m sure I’ll see you again.
Excellent trip. Could not rate Natalie highly enough. The whole experience was perfect. We were taken to parts of Mijas that we otherwise wouldn't have seen. Natalie stopped regularly to let us take photographs of the spectacular scenery. She also gave us tips of places to visit afterwards, which we did. Thank you. Would highly recommend. We had a lovely day as a result.
Lovely tour. Slow around the city to see all the sites. We did the longer one and got a great view from the viewing platform above the town. Guide was Spanish but with great English. Great way to relax and see the pretty village.
Great tour guide, provides a lot of information , accommodated our request to get earlier than booked tour and it is very convenient way to see the village.
Friendly guide who has great knowledge of Mijas, tuk tuk very clean and waiting for us on our arrival.
Nice overview of Mijas. Stopped a few times for photos. Itinerary exactly as stated. Got discount for miniature museum. Great for people with disabilities or want see Mijas quickly, with a bit of background history.
We were staying in Fuengirola and had half a day left before our flight. This was a great way to see Mijas and know exactly where we wanted to visit with the time we had left.also great way to take it all in on a short time as some of our party have mobility issues. Natalie was a fantastic guide. Thanks!
Natalie is very knowledgeable and friendly and her tour brought Mijas Pueblo alive for us. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, worth every penny! 🌟
What an amazing tour! Our tour guide and driver was very knowledgeable and painted a delightful and detailed picture of Mijas Pueblo, its history, its residents and its main monuments and points of interest. The views on the tour were fantastic - from flower strewn alleyways, to rolling hillsides and beautiful churches, to delightful landmarks and interesting shops and businesses. Our guide's English was very good and by the end of the tour we felt we had gained a friend not just a guide. This business really deserves to do well. We had a fantastic experience - and were able to go back on foot later to visit many of the sites you showed us on the tour. Thank you so much!!!
What an amazing experience! This tour was recommended to us by our travel rep. And it was a fantastic experience - hence the 5* review. Our driver and tour guide was very knowledgeable about the local Mijas Pueblo area - both current landmarks and the history of the town. She gave us a brilliant insight into the town, it's people and it's heritage. Her English was really good and by the end of tour she felt more like a friend than a guide. I really hope this business does well - it deserves to do so. And if you are visiting Mijas, it's a great way to identify all the best sites to see and photograph before going exploring on foot.
Fantastic tuk tuk tour with a great host Natalie. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Mijas Pueblo and learning more about the beautiful village.
small & very nice village up in the mountains of costa del sol area. all white houses ; make my heart quite & happy. 30 min. from malaga city. there is 2 panoramic points one in the center bus station & the other at the end of the shops ; take elevator to top. many shops ; souvnirs & silk ; many restaurants & bars around.
Our tour was fantastic. We saw so much in a short time and knew so much afterwards. Our guide Natalie was excellent. It was such a great way to see Mijas Pueblo which is such a stunning place to visit. I would highly recommend it. It gives you a great overview of what to return to to spend some time at and familiarises you with what’s around and where. We loved it and would highly recommend it.
We wanted to know a bit more about Mijas as we've only seen it for a short while on a bus tour stop off. So we visited it of our own accord. It was a Sunday and I simply texted the number on the tuk tuk and an arrangement to get a tour was made. There was 4 adults in our group. our guide was Rudie he was very informative and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions. And the tour was excellent well worth a try. The electric vehicles means no noise interference when Rudie was speaking. A big thank you and would recommend trying it.
This was the most amazing experience. We booked the tour at the pickup point. Natalie arrived and introduced herself and off we went. Natalie guided us through the narrow streets pointing out the significant places on the way. We stopped to take in the most beautiful panoramic views all the way down to the coast. Natalie was courteous friendly and knowledgable. Exceptional value for money. Would recommend tour without reservation.
Great 35 min trip around Mijas, we had Natalia as our driver and she was really informative and helpful. Hear all about the history of Mijas Pueblo and be shown places of interest to which there are many. Highly recommend the trip but you would be best advised to book beforehand as it gets busy.
