Mijas Mountains Buggy Tour Costa Del Sol

Yesterday we went on the 3 hour guided tour as a family of 4 with kids aged 10 and 14. Absolutely brilliant service, friendly informative and very welcoming staff all round. We had Alex and Frederiko take us out, and they were brilliant. There are many different tour operators but these guys are the best, and brilliant with the kids. Highly recommend!

Where to start? We booked 3hours tour we only got 2 and half hours tour I had a pleasant start as soon as we left the facility the tour guide asked me to keep close distance i explained to him that the buggy doesn’t go faster than 25 and I asked him to try himself he stated he will do so once we stop! He got annoyed that we were a bit distant from him his quad is faster than our buggy! Yet we still tried to keep up with him! On the way back he went faster on the unpacked road which caused a lot of dust to obstruct our vision We weren’t able to see ahead of us with the amount of dust created by his quad not to mention there are sharp turns if we speed we might jump of the mountain cliff to be cautious we slowed down to avoid accidents He drove off we weren’t able to see which direction he went we my buggy and another family’s buggy that were behind us had to stop for a minute to figure out which way he went! Mind you i had to check on that family constantly because they were really behind and i was concerned about them getting lost or facing issues which is his responsibility not mine He noticed we weren’t behind him he came back looking for us when he found us he started yelling and screaming at us!!! Who the hell does he think he is??? We didn’t spend money to be yelled at by some nobody. And it didn’t stop there he started talking rubbish about us to the people in 3rd buggy which unprofessional and disrespectful. Once I got back I asked to speak with him about his unprofessionalism They tell you they’re not responsible if something happens to you but they yell at you for taking precautions!!! If I jumped off the cliff was he gonna collect my body and explain to my family what happened??? This is absurd He knows the road like the back of his hands we don’t. And the audacity to disrespect us is unacceptable He ruined our experience cause me unnecessary stress left me shaking that I had a hemorrhage when I got to my hotel. He is lucky I have other engagements otherwise I would take a legal action against him and the company. You don’t treat customers in such a manner I didn’t spend $260 to be disrespected by a worker. The company should hold its employees accountable for such gross behavior

I have been on several UTV tours and this one was awesome. Now it helped that we were traveling through some of the most breathtaking views of the Spanish mountain sides and the views of the Mediterranean Sea were outstanding.

We had a really great experience and enjoyed the whole tour very much. Shawn was an amazing tour guide, very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He made the tour fun, interesting, and comfortable for everyone. Everything was well organized, and we felt very welcomed throughout the experience. We would definitely recommend this tour to others. We had a blast on on our 2 person buggy in Malaga! Our tour guide Lukas was excellent. We got to see great views from the mountain and we both got a chance to drive the buggy. very fun, I recommend the 2-3 hour tour if you have the time!

First for us as a family experience and what a fantastic jam packed 3 hours we had! We travelled off road through the mountains (a few hair raising parts but all added to the fun😉)had a cool down in a majestic waterfall and saw some amazing views!We went as a family of 4 and took 2 buggys out (2 in each)with a fantastic tour guide (Hessle)(most probably spelt the name incorrectly so apologies!)He was brilliant and had fantastic knowledge of the mountains and we all felt we were in safe hands, would thoroughly recommend and it really made our holiday here!

Elody - our guide was amazing. We took the 3hr tour and saw soooo much. The views are amazing. The buggy was very capable. I’d highly recommend doing this tour. Be forewarned that you will get very dirty. Bring extra clothes in a bag for afterwards.

A beautiful way to experience the scenery, great views, and see what life looks like up close in the area. The buggy was a very fun to drive. ELODY, our guide, was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, nice, and generous with her time and expertise on local happenings and history.

It was a great buggy driving experience. Led by Elanie, herself an enthusiast, she led us on a great route, including off road, tracks, through rivers and streams, up into the mountains and viewpoints. We enjoyed seeing so much of the real Spain that many visitors never get to see. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant time, the guide was super helpful.. it was a mixture of hard roads and off road driving, some of it very challenging.. we all loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone.

What a brilliant 2 hour experience, I would highly recommend this, we had so much fun. Just wish we had booked the 3hr, will be back in the summer to do it again.

Best off road buggy tour Iv ever done friendly staff and the route is amazing Good views and lots of fun and an added extra been able to drive through the rivers and water splashes I will be doing this again next time I travel to this area

Had a great trip. We were lucky , as the only booking of the morning we had the exclusive attention of guide. The experience is great fun and getting off the beaten track into the hills is a must do. Sadly weather let us down but even so, views were spectacular. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic day out, we had a buggy each on Christmas Day, there was supposed to be other people on our tour but lucky for us they didn’t show up. We had the best off road experience to date, our guide was excellent and took us on the best trails. Cannot wait to come back and do it again !

Fantastic day out. Charlie and Karen both very friendly and made the day so enjoyable. The buggies are superb, the best I’ve ever seen.

Arrived at Bigfoot buggy tours and were met by Karen who gave us a safety brief and then gave us our goggles and bandanas for the tour. We were shown the buggies and explained how to operate them which is very easy with them being automatic. During our tour we visited areas with stunning views we went on various tracks and terrains from tarmac to very loose gravel. It was extremely dusty which made it quite fun driving. We stopped for a drink at a golf club which was highly amusing as we were covered in dust and everyone else was dressed smartly as you would expect. We didn’t care though as we were having such a fantastic time. Charlie was an excellent guide who really knew the area and explained what we could see from each stopping point. We all thoroughly enjoyed the activity but three hours goes so quickly when having so much fun. We would definitely recommend this activity if you are in the area absolutely fantastic. We would like to say a huge thank you to Karen and Charlie we will remember this day out as one of the best experiences we have had when on our holidays.

Absolutely incredible experience driving the buggies through the Mijas mountains! Loads of fun and amazing views, and led by Charlie who knows the roads inside out. Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant afternoon spent with Bigfoot Tours...my son (17) and I had a blast. Excellent experience! We would advise taking the 3 hour tour as you really get to see so much of the beautiful countryside in the Mijas area and have a lot of fun in the buggies on the gravel roads. You will get dusty, just how much depends on the size of the group and how much fun you make of it ;-) Everything was really organised, from the greeting, safety briefing, the tour - our guide Alex was outstanding, regularly checking our safety and pointing out any points of interest - and the refreshing soft drink at the end. Highly recommended to anyone, from young families - they have a 4-seater buggy - to older ones

This was our second visit to Bigfoot and like the first it was an excellent experience! Taking the 3 hour tour let's you see much more of the beautiful countryside and to really get a feel for the impressive buggies. Everything is taken care of and the guide was exceptional always checking our safely and pointing out key landmarks and items of interest. Highly recommended

Very nice views, we made some nice pictures and videos. Owners and guides are super friendly and really know their stuff. The buggy's were looking very neat and very well maintained, they are high quality buggy's from a great brand. We will definitely come back to have a buggy tour with Bigfoot buggy tours!

Had such a blast doing this. The staff there were really friendly and patient. The buggies were in excellent form, had no problems with them whatsoever. The views were fantastic, drove up and down lots of hills and drove on many dirt roads. Scarfs, goggles, windjackets and water are provided. The group matched the speed of the first buggy/atv which is driven by the staff. Although it was my first time doing somethint like this, I didn't feel unsafe or scared at all. Only good vibes and fun. Will definitely do this again!!!

We had an amazing time!! Myself, husband, son and daughter hired 2 buggies and took turns driving, it was so exhilarating and the views were amazing! Karen and John are lovely people, so welcoming and very organised and knowledgeable! The 3 hours flew by! Prepare to get dusty! We all agree it was the highlight of our holiday and would definitely recommend!

Had an absolute blast on the three hour tour with Bigfoot Buggy Tours. We headed off-road up into the mountains where the views were amazing. The buggies are really fun to drive and in great condition. The staff are all really friendly and made for an amazing morning out. The cold beer at the end of the tour was definitely well needed. All I can say is MUST DO TRIP !! Excellent , 13 of us went as a group , excellent staff and owners , very hospitable and extremely health and safety conscious, looking after all , brilliant tour and will definitely do it again , be prepared to get dusty !

On arrival we were met by Karen and John who were fantastic hosts, we did the 3 hour tour and loved it, up and down the mountains with stops to admire the brilliant views. Buggy's in fantastic condition, easy to operate and the tour led by John and Karen was so much fun, my daughter was worried about driving off road and was encouraged by Karen to have a go, she loved it and we swapped over after stop. Really liked they supplied you with googles, bandanas and water throughout the tour... and nice to met Barney their dog who also clearly loved the tour. Perfect way to get away from the pool for a few hours.

Me and my brother booked the 3 hour tour with bigfoot buggy tours and had a great time. Very friendly owners who would happily take some photos of us. The route was great with almost no other traffic and a couple of great stops with amazing views. Thanks for this experience!

Brilliantly ran by John and Karen. From start to finish they were friendly and professional. A couple of hours of fun and chance to see stunning views of the area. Wear older clothes … my advice don’t wear white t-shirts. We borrowed their t-shirts on top of ours … Be prepared to get dusty …. A two hours well spent

I have tried buggy tours in Spain before, but this was by far my best experience. John is a very good guide with a good route and nice thing to see. The buggy’s are technically good and much better quality than other places we have tried 😉. The driving was safe and with one guide buggy in front and one guide buggy back we was taken care of all the time. They offer also a beer and shower after the tour 👍

husband and wife - both English , great rapport and very knowledgeable of the area . great value for money ...3hr trip- had 4 stops - so plenty of time to change drivers (went with my son) Ist rate set up - with quad bike in front , and follow up artic buggy behind (0ther companies use jeeps - but you cant see around them) Safety is paramount - and water supplied An absolute must do!!!!

Easy to book, filled in online form and Karen responded within a short space of time. Arranged a suitable date and time. Directions sent via WhatsApp and were easy to follow. Tour was 3 hours and on arrival met by John and Karen who were really friendly and welcoming. Safety briefing was given along with goggles, masks and water all included in price. Fabulous tour of Mijas mountains that you would never see unless you did this tour.. stunning views and scenery of the Costa del Sol. Buggies were Arctic wildcat buggies in excellent condition and far superior to other tours available. Special thank you to our Spanish guide who made this tour amazingly exciting. We have the pleasure of taking a 3hr buggy tour with Karen and John, and genuinely it was one of the most professionally run tours that we have had the privilege to experience. They were extremely accommodating, including last minute changes to the Booking, highly professional both to the participants and the local surroundings / inhabitants along the trails and 100% focused on safety. I could not recommended Big Foot tours highly enough and would encouge others to join them in the offerings they have. Last but not least, it's fantastic value for money.

From start to finish 5 star ⭐️ The tour was amazing, the views insane and the guide(s) really welcoming with excellent English also with a Spanish speaking guide best of both worlds. We traveled along various terrains with many spectacular views. At the halfway points of our 3 hour trip we took a moment to chat, get to know everyone soak in the sites and take photos. We did a 3 hour tour definitely worth every single minute. Also what is fantastic is the second half of the trip is not the same route as the first. So you continue to see new areas. Me & my partner took our 9 year old boy & he had the most awesome time. We travelled from Nerja & visited the lovley town & beach after the tour were they are situated thanks to the lovley owners for advise! The buggy’s themselves are high up of the floor for better views and also saftey! They are top notch American buggy’s they drive & look great! They also have showers facilities if you’re looking to go on a buggy your before you fly home or go out somewhere after you have the satisfaction of this! They also provide masks, goggles & water! We will definitely be visiting again for a sunset buggy tour! Thanks again you do an amazing job!

Great fun activity for group of six friends Pre-booked on-line. Finding the departure point but tricky but Google maps did the job! Karen gave us a very friendly welcome, provided us with goggles and face covering and water, then we were off on our 3hr tour … great fun driving the buggies through dirt tracks with various stops at good view points. You get really dusty so wear old clothes! Thoroughly recommend this as a group activity.

Extremely well organised professional and personable people. I firstly enquired about the cost/tours via WhatsApp and explained my requirements. I am a married lady with 3 teenager. My husband didn’t want to drive, but I was fine with this. They worked out a tailor made tour (2 hours), including extra driver etc. The price I was quoted was more than fair and in comparisons with other companies I had looked at extremely competitive. The day of the tour we had a slight delay, we rang up and there was no issue. We were met by Karen & John, who were just lovely and made us all feel at ease straight away. Also lovely with our 2 daughters and son. They showed us the buggy’s and explained all the safety rules and how easy they were to drive. The buggy’s themselves were of a high specification and having looked at other companies we had definitely chosen good. Bandanna, goggles and water were provided as it gets very dusty. The tour itself was well thought out with the routes taken and different terrain. We were taken high into the Andalusian mountains and the views were spectacular. A few stops and the knowledge of the surrounding interesting provided by John. Had amazing time HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thanks so much 😀

Whilst on holiday in Fuengirola my wife & I were looking for a way to explore the countryside away from the coast. We were lucky to find Bigfoot Buggy Tours. What a wonderful adventure in the hands of John & Karen, the owners. Their Buggies are safe and a delight to drive. The whole experience allowed us to see incredible scenery and a completely different side of the Costa del Sol. We can now strike this off our "Bucket List" Well done Bigfoot.
