Miscommunication prevailed. We were told our guide would have a red umbrella and that was not the case according to him we didn’t get started until 30 to 35 minutes after the start time was supposed to have been because we were all looking for each other and not knowing what with each other look like my wife is trying to contact the provider and although helpful little could be done because allegedly he had no calms with the guide. Once it got started, our guide was OK covered all of the points and was willing to do a little extra, but it could’ve been a lot smoother.

Itinerary
Walk along the central avenue built in the late 19th century that connects the historic square to the port and houses Málaga’s busiest commercial area.
Construction began in the 16th century on the site of a former mosque. The cathedral is known locally as “La Manquita” because its second tower was never completed.
Dating back to the 1st century BC, this is the oldest monument in Málaga. It was built during the reign of Emperor Augustus and remained hidden underground until its rediscovery in 1951.
This Moorish fortress was built in the 11th century by the Hammudid dynasty. It served as both a palace and defensive structure overlooking the Roman Theatre and the city below.
Located in the Buenavista Palace, this museum displays works by Pablo Picasso, who was born in Málaga in 1881. It opened in 2003 and contains a collection donated by members of Picasso’s family.
This lively square is known as the birthplace location of Pablo Picasso. In the center stands a monument dedicated to General Torrijos and his companions, executed in 1831.
Located on Plaza de la Merced, this building marks the place where Pablo Picasso was born. The museum displays personal objects and documents related to his early life.
This is one of the oldest churches in Málaga, founded after the Christian conquest of the city in 1487. Pablo Picasso was baptized here shortly after his birth.

I learned a lot about Malaga that I definitely wouldn't have discovered on my own. We visited some beautiful spots, heard interesting stories about the city and had a really nice time walking around. Definitely worth doing!
I enjoyed my tour and was lucky enough to be part of a small group. I discovered Málaga through its historical lens and learned the stories behind many of the buildings. As a solo traveler, the group size and our conversations made me feel included. Rita, our guide, genuinely seemed interested in our journeys so far and adjusted the depth of information based on our backgrounds. I loved the printed photo at the end—a memory made tangible and something to cherish. I highly recommend this tour! PS: I did the tour in July, it can be quite hot, so I recommend you choose a morning tour and always bring/buy a bottle of water, a hat an sunglasses. The pace is chill and often in the shadow.
I’m very happy with my choice of guide. Rita made the experience both entertaining and educational. The two hours flew by, and by the end I wished the tour had lasted even longer. It was such an amazing experience! I highly recommend Rita to anyone who wants to discover Málaga on a deeper level while having a fantastic time.
I had great time discovering Malaga old town, the tour guide was taking care and including every person in the group with kindness and a great sense of humor. I enjoyed the 2 hours walking, learning about the history and some secrets about this beautiful city. I recommend this tour and the vibrant energy of the guide that made it even more special.

Such a great experience! The Malaga Walking Tour was fantastic super interesting, well paced, and the guide was very informative and amazing. We got to see so many cool spots and learned a lot about the city's history. Highly recommend booking this if you’re in the area!
Loved this walking tour.. It connects Málaga’s Roman, Moorish, and Picasso history so naturally without feeling rushed. Starting on Calle Larios and ending near Picasso's birthplace was a perfect route. Highly recommend it if you want to see the best of the city in just a few hours.
Nice tour around malaga the modern and the historical one , I highly recommend.
Malaga is a beautiful city in Andalusia, and this tour did not disappoint. Our guide told us the history of the city in great detail, and we made several stops at a leisurely pace. Highly recommended if it's your first day in this beautiful city in southern Spain.
Walk through the center of Malaga. Friendly guide! He gave a lot of information and fun facts. Tips afterwards were also helpful. It’s put down as a “free” walk, but it’s said right at the beginning; we have to pay tax so it would be nice if you pay €15 pp... not really free so
