The experience was seamless and exceeded our expectations. We were picked up from our place in Málaga, driven two hours to the Port of Tarifa, where our driver walked us in, got our tickets, and explained how to board the ferry. The ferry to Tangier took about an hour and was a pleasant ride. Once there, Karim (our guide and main point of contact) met us at the port and spent the day showing us around the city before taking us back to the port for the ferry back to Spain. In Tangier, we saw various parts of the city, rode camels on the beach, ate two delicious Moroccan meals, and shopped at the souk. When we got back to Tarifa, our same driver met us at the port and drove us home. Karim was a fantastic guide and organizer, and we would recommend this tour to anyone interested in a fun and unforgettable day-trip from Málaga.

My experience on this tour of tangier was so wonderful! Me and my boyfriend had a loverly time with a very accommodating driver as well as a super incredible tour guide, Jasmine! She was so knowledgeable and took us to the best spots. The views in tangier are just incredible! The food was so yummy and the camels were a plus! Would for sure do again!
We arrange the drive through Trip Advisor and soon before the trip we were contacted by our friendly tour guide Karim from Tangiers PATITO Tours. What can I say about Karim. He was so wonderful. So helpful in planning our perfect day trip. From camel rides on Achakkar Beach, Cap Spartel, gorgeous rug shopping with Muhammed (A MUST STOP), then a visit to a. holistic botanist with fragrances of saffron and cinnamon and the the Prickly Pear oil elixir that is from the gods. Karim knows the Medina or souk very well and is extremely knowledgeable. He made my husband and I feel completely at ease and told us that we are at his beck and call for a further Tangiers related inquiries and further trips for which we would love to plan soon. Du to our excessive shipping we did miss our ferry and of course Karim had no problem arranging at his cost our next ferry out. That certainly is a well designed private excursion day to Tangiers. Shukran to Karim and our driver in Tangiers Abdul!
We had an amazing private day trip from Malaga to Tangier with Karim. Everything was well organized from start to finish. Transportation was arranged from Malaga to Tarifa and back—a roughly two-hour drive each way—and our ferry tickets were handled for us, making the trip completely stress-free. In Tangier, Karim (with Abdul driving) showed us both the old and new parts of the city, giving us a great overview of local history and culture. We enjoyed breakfast and a delicious lunch. One of the highlights was riding camels, which made for a fun and memorable experience. Karim guided us through the souk helping us navigate the many shops and vendors and took us to see specialty rug, textile and beauty/spice stores. . He even had another guide join us to help keep an eye on my 82 yr old mother and help to carry her bags. A tip for future travelers: let Karim know in advance what kinds of shops or experiences interest you most and what you’d prefer to skip. He is very accommodating and can tailor the day to your interests. Karim was very communicative through the whole process. He reached out well before the trip to find out what we were interested in seeing. He gave us step by step instructions for the transportation and ferry. Having a knowledgeable local guide made all the difference for a stress free day. The only downside was that there was so much to see and shop for that we wish we had had more time in the markets! We highly recommend this tour with Karim to anyone looking for an easy and memorable day trip from Spain to Morocco.
I would highly recommend this tour. It was way more than I expected- I saw so much & learned a lot. The whole tour went smoothly, from our pickup at our hotel, to the ferry & back again. Karim is extremely knowledgeable about Tangier as a city & as his home. He personalized the tour for us & our likes. He was in touch before the tour to ask about our preferences for the tour and after the tour to follow up & make sure we enjoyed the tour & were ok. I felt extremely safe on this tour & the people Karim introduced us to were very hospitable. While shopping, I did not feel any pressure to buy & no guilt if I didn’t buy. Karim took us to some amazing, authentic places to eat and also for a fantastic camel ride. It was a full day, but so worth it. Memories of a lifetime were made.
Our Tangier Tour with Karim was amazing! My friend and I both had a wonderful time. We were able to get a taste of the best spots in Tangier in one day. The drive back and forth from Malaga was comfortable and safe and crossing the border was seamless. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Morocco is a beautiful country and I wish I could have stayed longer!
Awesome experience with Karim. Very well organized tour with personal interests in mind. From our private ride to the port, the tour of Tangier, including the camel ride on the beach, & back again, everything ran smoothly. He showed us the highlights of Tangier & gave us a history of the area. Karim shared his personal experience from living in Tangier and his favorite local restaurants & places to shop in the casbah. He answered questions before & during the tour. Karim is committed to providing a warm, welcoming personal tour and did an amazing job! It was a day I will never forget.
PROS As soon as the trip was booked Karim was in contact with my aunt (who booked the trip) to discuss ferry times and wha we wanted to experience. The trip from Malaga to Morocco was amazing. We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the ferry dock. We arrived in Morocco and Majid (tour guide) and Abdul (driver) met us right away. We toured the city. Visited the place where the Mediterranean Sea met the Atlantic, Visited camels (ride was included but we opted out) and went to the market. CONS We were not taken to the souks. Our tour guide explained that many items that were sold in the souks were made in China. He had 2 markets to take us to where we could purchase items that were made in Morocco and where we would not overpay. My aunt bought 2 silver bracelets and I bought 2 rings and 2 bracelets. We paid more than DOUBLE what they were worth. I understand that this was our fault. We should have researched more and followed the feeling in our gut. We both felt that it was too much. We were rushed for time and let the beauty of the country and our trust in the guide blind us. Again, I know that we made the mistake. However, I believe were were given a false sense of security that the guide would make sure we were not over charged. We were also charged too much for cactus oil products. However, we are more accepting of that because in the States I understand quality skincare is expensive. If it doesn’t work as promised I will add to this review. CONCLUSION Go on this tour. It was amazing. BUT do your research on purchasing whatever you are looking to buy. Don’t make the same MISTAKE we did. EDIT Karim contacted my aunt stating that we should have been taken to the souks since that was part of the whole experience. He stated his displeasure at what happened and said that he would talk to our guide about what happened at the “government store” and at the place where we bought cactus oil products. Also, at the government store we also tipped the helper at the request of the people selling the jewelry. When we had time to think about this it was like we paid their young apprentice in addition to way overpaying for the jewelry. Again, we really had a great time on the whole excursion UNTIL we were taken to the shops. We were taken advantage of, especially at the “government store.” It is 100% our fault for not listening to our “gut” feeling. However, we still believe that we should have never been put into that situation.
Our Malaga → Tangier tour was absolutely fantastic! Karim was an exceptional guide—friendly, funny, and full of local knowledge. He took us through the Medina, Kasbah, and souks, making sure we had time to enjoy shopping for crafts, spices, and souvenirs. The camel ride along the beach was a highlight, and Karim made it both fun and safe. He also guided us to the best spots to try Moroccan food—fresh pastries, street snacks, and traditional dishes that were delicious. Transportation was seamless from Malaga to Tangier. The ferry crossing was smooth, and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. Abdullah, our driver, was calm, skilled, and made the journey stress-free. Thanks to Patito Tours and Karim, everything ran perfectly. This tour is a must-do if you’re visiting Tangier from Malaga!
Seamless trip to Tangier from pick-up to drop-off! What a day! 4 of us were picked up by our condo (we are from the US and Canada) at 7:15 am by Gerald in a mercedes van that was very comfortable for all 4 of us - 2 guys are 6 ft 4”. We were provided very clear directions on WhatsApp of what to do from when Gerald dropped us off at the ferry terminal to when Jasmine picked us up on the other side of the ferry. At first, when reading the instructions, I didn’t get what people miss - and - then we saw it - many people missed getting their passports stamped while ON the ferry - however, our instructions were incredibly clear to ensure we got it stamped. Then we were picked up by the driver (Abdul) and Jasmine and a wonderful day that was customized along the way to our interests and abilities. There were 2 meals and we could not believe the quality of the food and service! Jasmine was extremely knowledgeable about all of the stops and was very attentive to what we wanted to do and kept course correcting. (We are not shoppers and had a person with us who had a bit of a walking issue). At the end, no time was spared, yet we weren’t rushing, to get to the ferry to go home, and Gerald was there waiting for us and got us right to our door. Seeing the culture, the camels, learning the history and experiencing the fabulous food and shopping areas was incredible. A special thank you to this team!
My family had an awesome experience. We can’t say enough goods things about Karim our tour guide and his company. Everything went well with the pickup in Malaga, the ferry to tanger, the tour of tanger was amazing, the ferry ride back to tarifa and our ride home to Malaga. Karim customized the tour to our family’s needs and wants. He was in contact with me early in the process to see how we wanted our day to go and remained in contact over the next several months. It was everything we had asked for. Our whole group loved the camel rides on the beach. What a unique experience. The tour of tanger was informative and interesting. We loved exploring the Medina area and the souks The food we had in tanger were very good. The views and food for breakfast were great and the Moroccan lunch was amazing. Both restaurants accommodated any food needs. It was a very full and long day but so worth the price. My grandkids will never forget their first experience in Africa.
We had the best time with our tour guides, Karim and Hamza. Karim showed us around Tangier and the Old Medina. He is incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and made everything feel effortless. Transportation was easy, as both drivers we encountered (Abdul and Muhammad) were prompt and polite. I spent my birthday in Morocco, and this team truly went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. For example, on the first day, Karim had the restaurant bring me a birthday desert. Throughout our time in Morocco, they had arranged suprise birthday gifts/experiences from vendors along the way, and made sure every thing I hoped for actually happened. Hamza was just as thoughtful and a genuine pleasure to be around while showing us around Chefchaouen. Between the two of them, they took amazing photos, help us with our bags, negotiated prices, showed us to the best lookout/picture spots, and handled every other possible detail so we could truly relax and enjoy ourselves. They treated us like family. Our trip genuinely would not have been the same without them. I cannot express how grateful and happy I am to the whole team.
From the moment Karim reached out to us after we booked this trip, we felt comfortable. Everything was professionally organized, from the pickup at our Airbnb, ferry tickets, and meeting us at the port. Karim is very knowledgeable about the city of Tangier and its culture. Abdul drove us around professionally while Karim narrated. We had an amazing Moroccan breakfast and lunch, and our return to our Airbnb was just as well organized. I highly rate this tour and it's definitely worth the money. Karim treats you like family.
Majid was our tour guide and Abdul our driver. Majid has been a tour guide for 53 years. He does tours in many different regions and has more energy and enthusiasm than we have seen in any other tour guide. His knowledge of the history of Tangier was like being in a history history class! He is like the mayor of Tangier and knows everyone. It was an experience to walk through the market, he knew everyone and something about them and their family. My husband is Jewish so he brought us to a synagogue and asked him questions from the Torah! Again the religious history of Judaism was amazing. We had breakfast at a restaurant and he made sure my husband had a Moroccan breakfast which was delicious. He stayed close to us to make sure if we had any questions he was ready to explain things to us. Lunch again was an amazing meal filled with spices and flavors that were amazing. Majid is an outstanding tour guide and Abdul the safest and most attentive driver. If you are fortunate to have Majid as your guide consider yourself fortunate. He is absolutely the best!
My husband and I had an extraordinary day in Tangiers. We were met off the ferry by our excellent driver and by Jasmine, our knowledgeable, fabulous, charming guide. We fell in love with Tangiers, the history, the beauty and with all of the people we met. We can’t wait to return to Morocco and explore others areas, of course with Jasmine if she is available! Shukran.
This tour of Morocco was without a doubt one of the best organized trips I have ever taken.…Karim and his team were excellent and did an awesome job from the time they picked us up at the hotel in Malaga to the time they dropped us back off at the hotel… everything went as scheduled and on time and without a glitch… Mija the guide was an encyclopedia of knowledge about Morocco and we learned so much from him… ! Very friendly, professional and attentive to our needs… we saw and did everything we wanted to see. We enjoyed very much the Moroccan Breakfast and Lunch provided and the camel ride on the beach was an awesome experience and something that we’ll never forget.
Excellent Tour! Karim and Majid were so helpful and funny. They made sure we got to see everything we wanted to see and made sure we had a great experience. I highly recommend this tour!
We had the most amazing experience Marid was an amazing guide! By far one of the best private tours we have ever had the pleasure of doing. Tangier is so full of history and beauty. Definitely recommend it.
We had a great tour around Tangier. Justine was a great tour guide. We loved her views on the city and its history. The breakfast and lunch were brilliant. Our favorite part was probably the Souks. Although the camel rides were awesome too.
Great trip! Very professional! Excellent communication. Enjoyed seeing the beautiful sights of Tangier.
Yasmin our tour guide Was excellent, she had very good knowledge and took great time and effort to show us around her beautiful city. Thank you Yasmin for a wonderful day and fabulous memories.
This is an excellent experience, taking in the very soul of Tangier! It was perfect for us as a couple, having no knowledge of the country, to hand everything over to an organised tour company. It was a very slick operation from start to finish. We were contacted in advance and asked what our interests were and the trip was tailored around the same. We had door to door transfers from our hotel in Malaga to the port of Tarifa, where we were given our ferry tickets to travel to and from Tangier. On arrival in Tangier, we were met by our local guide straight off the ferry. Farid was an exceptional guide, passionate about local history and extremely knowledgeable. We met with a driver, where we were taken to restaurants, a beach, historical sites and then we went with him around the city, visiting lots of local crafts people, taking in the culture. At the end of the day, Farid walked us back to the ferry port. We then boarded the ferry, whereupon on arriving back in Tarifa, we were met again by our transfer driver and driven back to our hotel in Malaga. All in one day! A unique and memorable experience, which allowed us to really experience Tangier and the beauty of the city and its environs with a local guide. This is a fantastic experience!
Yes, this seems pricey. Yes, it will take you an entire day. YES, it is totally worth it. When we found out Tangier, Morocco was only an hour ferry ride away from Tarifa, Spain we felt it was an opportunity we could not pass up. However, this was a big sell for our family. First, it’s an all day tour. We typically limit our tours to 3-4 hours so knowing this would take all day seemed daunting. As such, we worked very closely with Karim to customize the plan for our day with him. He was wonderfully accommodating and made sure we got to see everything we wanted. In retrospect, I wish we had stayed a bit longer so we could have enjoyed a second meal with Karim since our breakfast with him was so enjoyable. Second, the price. If you can afford it, do it! Yes, it seems pricey, but by the time we got back to our hotel and realized how much was included…it was a bargain. All transport, meals, and a customized private tour! In our case, the Tarifa port was nearly two hours from our hotel. Karim’s team will pick you up at your hotel, take you to the port in Tarifa, fill out your immigration documents, get your ferry tickets, and walk you through exactly where you need to go and what’s going to happen on the ferry. Then Karim will meet you at the port in Tangier, with a private vehicle/driver, bottled water, and shuttle you around all day. When the tour is over you get the same amazing transport service again. Karim gets your ferry tickets, walks you through where to go and what to do, then his team back in Spain will take you back to your hotel. That’s a total of FOUR private drivers (two on the way to Tarifa, one in Morocco, and one on the return), very personalized service, and an incredible tour with a man who clearly loves his city and its history.
I joined a guided excursion and it was an experience to remember! From start to finish, everything was seamless and enjoyable, I’d recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a mix of adventure and culture. It was well-organized and a lot of fun. Definitely, will do it again
We were visiting Malaga Spain for the weekend and had been contemplating a visit to Morocco. Multiple times from Friday to Sunday we came across the Tangier private tour but always hesitated first because of the cost and then questioning safety. From the moment we confirmed our reservation, Karim arranged every detail. He started with a phone call to understand our interests and followed it by multiple messages laying out our itinerary. From the 5:45am pickup at our airbnb to our 11:00pm drop off back home, every detail was taken car of. Car travel, ferry tickets and pickup, breakfast and dinner, camel ride, everything! Karim, our tour guide and Mohammed, our driver were consummate hosts! From the moment we got in the van, Karim began sharing the history of the city and the culture. First stop, a lovely traditional Moroccan breakfast at a local hotel overlooking the ocean. The bees enjoyed it as much as we did! Then onto a tour of the new city, seeing mosques, architecture, hearing about the culture. Stops were well paced to capture photos and moments. The camel ride along the sea was an experience not to be missed. In the afternoon we left the car for a walking tour of the casbah and old city. This is where Karim shined. It’s as if the city was his own and everyone knew him. Handshakes, hugs and smiles greeted him at every corner. More architecture, more history, more culture! The craftsmanship of the city is stunning. He took us to the textile markets and a word of advice, “bring your bartering skills”. The rugs are stunning. The earthenware beautiful and the home decor are one of a kind gems. After we lightened our wallets and were loaded with laughs, we sat down to a delightful late afternoon meal. In the course of hours Karim transitioned from tour guide to friend. He left us safely back at the ferry, our legs weary, our hearts and bellies full; not regretting the last minute decision as it was the best decision and a wonderful adventure! Thank you Karim… James and Jônatas
When our friends said they wanted to book a day trip/tour to Morocco, I was immediately in...little did I know, it would be the most life-changing experience. Our tour guide Karim, was so knowledgeable, funny and caring. He truly made the experience that much better. Our trip was cut short by a few hours, due to circumstances out of his control, and he still managed to get us to all of the places we wanted to see. The entire tour, Karim was cracking jokes with us and made us feel so comfortable. Our group had the most amazing time. I can't thank Karim enough for everything he did. The time and attention he put into making sure we had a good tour is like no other. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Morocco, even if just for the day, make sure you book a tour with him. I can promise, you will not be disappointed.
This tour was wonderful. Jasmine was so knowledgeable and took us to some great highlights of the city and the food was amazing!
This was a logistical challenge made easy by Karim. We needed to be picked up in Malaga to catch a 9:00am ferry. That required a driver and ferry tickets. We were met at the Tanger terminal by Karim and a driver. The heavens opened up about an hour after we arrived and the schedule had to be adjusted. The sun returned and all was great. Karim was informative, personable and engaging. He had quizzed in advance on preferences and priorities and he delivered on all our wish list items. Late afternoon back to the ferry and the waiting driver to take us back to Malaga. An outstanding day! Kudos to Karim! .
Karim was the consumate professional guide: informative, personable and attentive. He organized a great day incorporating the sights and experiences requested. Clearly he is well known and respected in the community. Highly recommended!!
Excellent experience with every detail carefully curated to our preferences. Karim did a great job organizing the experience based on our communications and were assigned a a tour guide , Farid with thorough knowledge of the Morocco and all the sites we were able to get in a one day visit. Additionally, our drivers provided impeccable service door to door . Highly recommend this tour to anyone with Morocco as a bucket list item.
We had a wonderful time visiting Tangier! Our guide reached out to us well before the trip. He asked about our interests and set up everything including transportation to/from Malaga. The drivers were very kind and prompt. Once arrived in Tangier our guide met us at the ferry with his driver. He provided us with the history of the area, Moroccan breakfast and lunch, walking tour of the Kasbah and markets, not to mention the camel ride on beach. We had a wonderful day. Thanks Karim!!
This is my third time to Morocco. I wanted to provide my husband with a memorable trip to Morocco from Malaga. I had many texts from Karim who is the owner of the company to assure me that the trip would go smoothly. I decided on a later pickup and earlier departure so this meant some of the trip was whittled down due to time constraints. We were picked up at our hotel and by private driver; this took 2 hours to arrive in Tarifa. The driver picked up forms for us to show the passport people and the border control. When you reach Tarifa , my suggestion is that you use the 1 hour to fill out the form and go through passport control and putting your luggage through several X-ray machines before you reach the ferry Once you get to the ferry , line up to get your passport checked and stamped again. This process make take up to the hour it takes for you to arrive in Tangier. Be sure your passport is stamped because you will not be let into the country. Once you gone through yet again X-ray machine to X-ray your luggage or purses or backpacks. The guide which in our case was Farish( sp?) He took us to our driver.I decided to change our itinerary by having lunch first. Since it was 1/2 hour earlier than he expected, he was able to find a restaurant that was open at 11:30am. We had lunch which was included in the tour. Lunch was cafeteria style and food was good. From there the guide said I had 1/2 hour to shop in the sook. Our next stop was a tour of the city( not on my agenda). The guide decided I needed to see the city and the king's royal houses With my talk with Katim I was supposed to be in the Medina for 3 hours. I had to talk with the guide several times to change course. Eventually we returned to the casbah to see the houses where the people lived, the shops. This was beautiful for me. We had to return to the ferry by 3:15 pm as we had tickets to go back on the ferry. Remember you still have to go through X-ray machine for your purses, backpack, etc. The trip took 1 hour and the ride home 2 1/2 hours due to traffic. Overall the tour went well once I spoke with the guide and Karim( by WhatsApp.) The drivers from Malaga and Tarifa and the return were good and the one in Tangier. Consider the tour if you want a private tour. Be sure you get the kind of tour you want.
The Tangier private tour was absolutely one of the best tours I have ever done. From the moment I booked this, Karim, the owner of Tangier Patito Tours, emailed and texted me to confirm my tour, find out more about my family, ask what we wanted to do and see in Tangier. Everything was done a la carte! We were picked up from our hotel in Malaga, and once we got to Tarifa, we boarded the ship to Morocco. Karim booked the ferry tickets for us from Tarifa Port, told us what to do, step by step. The tour guide, Majid met us at Tangier’s port with his driver and took us for breakfast, ride with camels on the beach, then lunch at an amazing restaurant in Old Medina where the food was just delicious!! Then we were off to explore Old Medina by foot, while Majid was giving us all the history behind Old Medina. He was also one of the funniest, engaging, knowledgeable tour guides we’ve ever had!! Majid took our 6 year old and entertained him the entire 10 hours we were together - how many 6 year olds want to do walking tours? But Majid made it so fun!! Thank you! We actually saw Karim along the way and thanked him. Moroccons are such friendly people. After Old Medina, we went to do some shopping - you can choose between textiles, spices & oils, ceramics so they can take you to the places you really want to see. We had to board the ship back to Spain at 6pm. If we could’ve stayed a few more days, we would’ve but if you want to see Tangier in one day from Spain, THIS TOUR with Patito Tours is the one to do!! It may seem pricey but it is SO WORTH IT!! Karim, Majid, our driver, we cannot thank you enough for such a magical and memorable experience and we will definitely return one day. THANKS A MILLION!! :)
We had the best experience on our tour with Karim, truly a day I will cherish for the rest of my life. We saw so many different aspects of the city and being guided by a local who grew up there made it so special. The food, the shopping and the sites were amazing. Your whole day is thought out so you don’t have to worry about anything (waters on the bus, meals throughout the day, restroom breaks). And definitely pay for the camel ride, such a cool experience!!
TRAVEL: Our driver exceeded expectations with excellent service. He picked us up promptly at 7 a.m. in Vélez-Málaga for our trip to Tarifa and safely returned us, even after the boat was delayed by almost two hours. He kept a positive attitude throughout, ensuring we got back to Vélez-Málaga with a smile. If possible, we would rate the service 6 stars! VISIT: We had a wonderful visit with an exceptionally passionate guide who shared his deep knowledge of Tangier and Morocco. Unfortunately, due to the long journey from Málaga to Tarifa, it would have been more convenient to stay overnight in Tarifa and catch an earlier boat. This way, we could have visited some places that were closed by the time we arrived. Nevertheless, the guided tour of the city was excellent. The highlight was the camel ride, although we were slightly disappointed by being taken to stores for product demonstrations we hadn't requested. We recommend setting aside some time at the end to explore the Medina market on your own. OVERALL: We highly recommend this private tour for those interested in visiting Tangier. The team did a great job organizing the experience. The main drawbacks were the delayed boat on our return and the somewhat excessive border control procedures in Morocco. If you plan to book with Tangier Patito Tours, consider spending a night in Tarifa or Tangier for a more relaxed experience.
I booked this tour to Tangier w Patito Tours and it was an excellent choice. Farid was fantastic in coordinating the tour and provided superb advice and support for our trip. We were based in Malaga, Spain and Farid coordinated car transport from our hotel to the ferry at Tarifa, Spain. He also prepurchaed our ferry tickets to/from Tangier, Morocco and provided great advice on what to expect. All transport services were professional and well coordinated. Once in Tangier, our guide was also first class. He took us all over Tangier and shared history and local knowledge with us. I had never met one person who knew more about the three big religions or Christianity, Judaism and Islam than our guide. I especially enjoyed the walking part of our tour through the streets of Tangier where he shared more of his extensive knowledge. Our guide was very well known and we learned he was even used by local embassies to orient their staff! The lunch at the local restaurant was also fantastic and I was so full from all the dishes provided to us. This tour is five stars and I highly encourage others to book with this company on your trip to Morocco as you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Faird for your help and guidance on this tour. Take care.
Karim did a fantastic job of showing us Tangiers. He made sure we got a great understanding of the culture and history of the city and country. He arranged everything for the ferry crossing, transports to and from Tarifa and made certain everything was satisfactory.
Very well organized tour adapted to our needs. Surpassed our expectations. The guide was very knowledgeable and sweet with us. We had a great time.
Our tour guide Hassan is formerly known as Coca-Cola, and yes he kept us motivated throughout our journey! A very respectful and friendly person, who we were very grateful to lead us on our way in Tangier, Morocco. He emphasized his customers with love and encouragement, and we couldn’t ask for a more thoughtful and out-going man on our behalf. Wish we could give him 6 stars, but Coca-Cola should be on your list as well!
Incredible tour. Spend the extra money and enjoy Tangier with a guide. From start to finish it was a first class experience. Our guide Abu was amazing and Karim who organizes the tour was on top of every little detail. The one thing I would note is be patient on the ferry from Tarifa to Tangier. A long passport line forms on the boat. Other than that, the entire experience was 5 star.
If you are reading this and haven’t decided on traveling to Tangiers yet, I cannot more emphatically say go. From the Cave of Hercules to the Casbah, the city will amaze you. Our tour guide Hassan, better known as Coca-Cola of Tangiers Patito Tours, was not only a historiographer and photographer, but a gracious host helping open us to the wonders of the city. The tour brought us across Tangiers, arranging delicious Moroccan cuisine, a camel ride, shopping, and views of many of Tangiers numerous mosques and synagogues and more. The friendly nature of the locals who cherished their multicultural city can be summed up by the famous Bob Marley quote the camel herder sang “don’t worry, be happy.”
Amazing experience thanks to Karim and his team! Staying in Malaga as close as we were we really wanted to try to see Morocco and this was a great way to do it. Prior to arriving Karim was great providing instruction on what times we needed to be at the ferry, pickup times and everything we needed to arrive to Tangier. Once we arrived, we were greeted at the ferry boat terminal by Karim and our day began. We started driving through the new part of Tangier making our way up into the hills and stopping at some sites along the way. We had a great breakfast at a restaurant on the overlook where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet. After breakfast we visited Hercules cave followed by a camel ride on the beach. After that we walked around the Medina and did some shopping in the market area. We finished our day with lunch at a great restaurant in the old town area before being taken back to the ferry terminal. The whole experience from start to finish was very well organized by Karim, he was very friendly, knowledgeable and great to spend the day with!
We had the most amazing time exploring Tangier with Karim! He took care of everything and was great to work with from start to finish. Cannot recommend this experience enough from the camel ride on the beach, learning about the culture and seeing the sights along with tasting the local cuisine. It is well worth the private tour with your friends and trip from Malaga.
It is a second time with Karim, now back to Morocco on my own. This time i decided to come for 2 days and visit places outside Tangier and learn more about Moroccan culture. Karim offered me all inclusive package for fantastic price. It would be more expensive if i would book ferry tickets and other things on my own. I did't have to worry about anyting. Pick up from hotel in Spain, qr code for tickets - with return next day and Karim waiting in Tangier for me. He couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. He helped me to check in my hotel and drop a bag. And then we went to all places arranged in advance. Hercules Caves, Cap Spartel, Malabata and rural beach, where i enjoyed camel ride to beggin. Then we visited parks and climbed rocks to see Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea meeting point. Afterwards we headed to the old part of Tangier - medina, where we had amazing walking tour with great history and secret facts. Places like American Legation, Kasbah area, jewish synagogue, and after of course amazing lunch in traditional restaurant. Karim is very friendly and helpful so you ask him anything, and everyone knows him. I always felt special and comfortable. He is for sure the best tour guide in Tangier. Everything went perfectly, in addition i got almost half price for unique traditional crafts as bronze lamp, tea pot with cups and fluffy rug. I felt like local at my home and i would recommend Karim to anyone.
Many thanks for all the team of TANGIER PATITO TOURS. First of all in Spain we got picked up on time and enjoyed our ride with Mercedes Vito van. Our driver Manuel was very professional and drove very safe. At Tarifa he helped us to board a ferry and was there when we came back from Tangier. Upon arrival to Tangier we were welcomed personally by Karim and driver Mustapha who then made our day unforgettable. We visited so many amazing places and got to know interesting facts about Tangier and Morocco. We visited both Mediterranean and Atlantic coast, saw Hercules Caves, Cap Spartel and had fun while riding a camel on the beach. Karim showed us plenty of nature places, beautiful parks and panoramic spots from high cliffs. We were treated like royal family, Karim was always attentive and informative and very funny. He invited us for drinks and snacks and other traditional treats. We had amazing lunch already included and after lunch we visited old part which is very charming and full of friendly locals ready to help you of offer you traditional crafts in markets. It was interesting walking in narrow streets, with Karim we saw a lot of historic monumets and hidden places. Very recommended to take this private tour, because we were thinking to take group tour and the beginning, but as we found up that pick up in Spain will start from 4.30 and we will take a ferry at 11.00, instead of 7.00 pick up and ferry at 9.00 we decided to pay more but enjoy more. Strongly recommended 5 star.
It was a reassuring tour where they picked us up from the hotel, and provided detailed information about everything we were concerned about, including how to go through passport control, before crossing the border by ferry from Malaga to Tarifa and entering Morocco in Tangier. I was worried because this part wasn't discussed much, but when I went, it was a very satisfying process. The Morocco tour was very interesting because you carefully guided us through many interesting places, including Moroccan traditional breakfast, lunch, and camel riding. It was truly all-inclusive.
