An amazing morning in the Mijas mountains! We rented a 2 person buggy for a 2 hour ride into the mountains and had a great time. Sam, our tour guide, was fantastic! Spoke multiple languages to ensure everyone understood and had the same experience. I was very nervous to have a go at driving the buggy despite being a competent driver, and Sam was very encouraging and made me feel at ease. The tour was mixture of road and off-road and lovely scenery. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

It was on the pricy side but we thought it ended up being worth it for two hours in the dusty but beautiful mountains. 10/10 would recommend!

Purchased a 2 hour tour direct with Bigfoot buggy tours for myself, my wife and two daughters. We opted for the 09:30 am tour. We had a four seater buggy. Easy to book online and we drove to the venue. There is road parking out the front. Unfortunately I did not get our guides name but he was a young man and incredibly friendly and helpful. It was only him and my family so we were incredibly lucky. After a quick check of the required documents and a safety brief and vehicle familiarisation we were off. You will 100% need to wear the goggles and bandanna and definitely wear clothes you don’t mind getting dusty as it will happen. The trip is a mix of road, light off road and mid to heavy off road. Wow just about sums it up. An amazing experience, the buggy (4 seater) was automatic and responded well to throttle and break responses. You follow the guide on the lead car which due to the nature of the terrain generates a large amount of dust. The speed varies depending on terrain but at no point did it feel unsafe. Yes it’s not racing, or maxing the buggy’s potential but it’s not that sort of tour. As the driver I throughly enjoyed the experience as did my family, we climbed up the side of the mountain to a spectacular viewpoint where we stopped and the guide gave us detailed information about what we could see from our vantage point, as well as providing us with cold water and helping with photographs. The we went cross country to another vantage point. A lot of the tracks are not suitable for normal vehicles and you get to see things you wouldn’t normally. We stopped again at another vantage point, more good local knowledge from the guide, photos etc and then started to make our way back. The buggy handles the terrain incredibly well. When we arrived back they have compressed air lines to help you clear off some of the dust. An amazing experience which my whole family enjoyed, well planned and well executed by the company and the guide who has excellent area knowledge. Well worth the money and a great company. Book it and do it you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back. Thanks all.

Fantastic… Federico was amazing. Great scenic tour with a bit of history provided by Federico. He even supplied water to everyone. nice crowd just my family and another car so not busy and crowed. Def recommend and come back.

Great couple of hours out with Bigfoot Buggy Tours, 👌 , good fun and great tracks with riverbeds and twist/turns 👍 As expected got filthy 🤪👍... They provide you with bandanas, goggles & drinking water. Our guide, Frederico from Argentina, was knowledgeable of the area, and always keeping an eye on all the buggies, making sure no-one was stuck /lagging behind etc, real friendly guy 😃. Would recommend 👏✔️

A great buggy experience for the five of us today with BigFoot - fantastic dusty off road trails with some amazing views and fun river crossings too. Sean was a great guide and we’d recommend the whole experience! Consider bringing some fresh clothes as you’ll be pretty dusty afterwards, but all part of the experience!

What an incredible way to view the coast! The tour was amazing and we had so much fun. Luckily we were given the opportunity to extend it by an hour so, of course we did! Hessel, our guide, and one of the owners, was knowledgeable about the area and pointed out so many cool places and provided interesting facts. I highly recommend a tour with Big Foot Buggy for locals and tourists alike!

Went today for the 1hr trip and our family had so much fun we extended it by another hour. The buggies are well looked after, easy to drive, lots of fun but equally safe with my kids in the passenger seat. Having a teen and pre-teen can be awkward for things to do, but, both loved the tour today. Great views from the hills, plenty of fun driving and great guide in Fede! Was a pleasure to meet the owner and his family on our return for a cold beer! 100% recommend.

I think this was a nice tour, we enjoyed the vehicles and views. What I was left hoping for more is more of the challenging terrain as that felt the best value for money. Tour guides were excellent

We have had an amazing time! The weather was extreme in the Mountains but that made it even more spectaculair. The guides are truely awesome en de tour is great. Wonderfull views, challenging route trough waters in the valley and great viewpoints. We did it with 13 friends (man/women) and all enjoyed it very much. We would really recommend this experience.

Such an amazing experience with Frederico, the view points were spectacular and he had loads of information of our surroundings. Would 100% recommend and we’ll definitely be back for the longer trip again!

Frederico was an amazing guide, he made us so comfortable and checked we were okay the whole way through! His English is amazing, he gave us some information about Spain at each stop! Driving through the rivers and getting wet was a blast and really made the experience perfect. I highly recommend this tour and Federico as a guide.

We took an off day from site seeing to do a fun activity. The team at Bigfoot Buggy came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We weren’t sure what to expect or how good this was going to be. We need not have worried - it was an outstanding 2 hours, spent touring the mountain ranges and dry river beds, as well as seeing the amazing properties built into the mountain side. Elody was our guide, and she did an awesome job. When we stopped to view certain areas, sharing information and talking about the local areas too. I would highly recommend this activity to others, we were 2 adults and a 10 year old renting a 4 seater buggy, and it was perfect to pass a couple of hours and see the country side in more detail.

Took the 4 seat buggy, lots of fun for my kids. Interesting tour, its certainly not a race, to see the local terrain. Great guide. Its good value for money and certainly worth it.

We are a family of four, two kids aged 11 and 15, and we had the best afternoon ever. We were greeted with smiles and friendly banter and it was clear to see all the guys get on incredibly well. After a brief tutorial, we grabbed goggles and bandanas and were on our way. The trails had a bit of everything, steep inclines and fast flat sections. Had a bit of sideways action going through a shallow river, that was awesome! The guys take a few minutes to gauge your ability and then adapt to suit so you don't need to worry that you might be too slow. They also won't go too fast as some roads are shared with residents etc. After a couple of stops at viewpoints we headed back to base where there are air guns to blow off the dust and a shower if needed. We had a couple of beers while waiting on our taxi. This is the only thing to bear in mind if you are relying on taxis. We had 3 Ubers cancel once they knew where we were as they don't like coming up into the hills as some roads are rough. All in all, we had a fantastic afternoon and huge thanks to the 2 guys for showing us around. Sorry I can't remember their names but one was French and the other a Geordie (great guy). We would definitely return. Cheers guys

Simply the BEST and ONLY buggy tour to do in the region. We did a two hour tour with two buggies and it was just amazing. The whole tour was off road and incredibly good fun. Swapped drivers at the half way point so we all had an hours drive each. The guys here are great people and made our tour. You’ll see stunning views from the top of the mountains and have an amazing time driving through dirt tracks, dried river beds and more. 100% recommend for some time away from the beach/pool and great for adults and children.

We took 3 individual and one double buggy for a two hour tour! Great experience with Hessel and Simon - great guys! My buggy was super smooth but others were more bumpy so depending on what you want ask Hessel or Simon. Great views. You will get dusty but they have an air compressor to clean you up. Super fun. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing two-hour adventure — easily one of the best buggy experiences I’ve had so far. I've done similar tours in Spain and elsewhere, however the variety of terrain here really made it stand out. From dried-up riverbeds and shallow fords to cross, reed-lined trails and steep inclines........every part of the route offered something new and exciting. We were warmly greeted on arrival by a genuinely friendly host who instantly made us feel like old friends. My wife chose not to join the ride, but there was a comfortable shaded seating area where she could relax with soft drinks, beer and ice cream available — a very thoughtful touch, that I haven't seen elsewhere!! Our guide, Simon, was excellent — professional, attentive, and always keeping an eye on the group to make sure everyone stayed safe and together. Goggles bandanas and water were provided for free, and that together with the price compared to others in the area, make this a no brainer for choice. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and well-run off-road experience.

Absolutely outstanding tour..! Loads of fun, well worth the price, I personally loved my Buggy..! Defo helped reduce any negative impact of goin off road. What a fun way to pass a few hours and to get a unique view of rural Spain, from start to finish the guys were so professional and accommodating, a real eye for safety which was nice to see as our kids were quite young. A few things we discussed which we believe would help this new business and the overall experience. A shuttle bus from larger hotels / central locations as the “buggy base” is kinda in the middle of nowhere would be nice. This might also help with after buggy “celebrations” we had a beer and a few cokes but left soon after as we were all driving :-(( Drone video footage would be something that would be relatively easy to achieve as there is two guys in the lead buggy at all times, personally speaking I would have paid for this as an add on Or even action shots as we drive by type thing ! Again from our perspective we would have bought these kind of add ins ! Just a few suggestions which we believe would make a fantastic day an unforgettable day ! See you guys again soon

Sunset tour highly recommend a bit cooler in summer and views across the hills were amazing. From arrival we were greeted with a smile, guides were super friendly and chatty during the whole experience. It’s a bit different but a great fun way to explore the hills. We all enjoyed it thoroughly.

Amazing experience - from first sending a watsapp to the end we were treated so well and had the best time. Flying with ryanair i came with bare minimum but Karen kindly lent me trainers so i could partake and we were made to feel very welcome. Peter, our guide was great - informative and a pleasure to meet. I was nervous but i soon got into it and your made to feel well looked after and safe. We ended up having a blast. Stopping for scenic photos, drinks at lovely golf club etc. There is a loo and shower to rinse off dust when back which was really helpful as we were later flying home. We had a bit of time to kill and karen even gave us a lift to a local restaurant afterwards which was a huge relief to my teenage son who was not up for little walk in heat. Would 100% recommend to anyone, book and have an amazing time- it was our holiday highlight- thank you to all we are really grateful.

A fabulous 2 hours driving a buggy over the Mijas hills. After donning goggles and neck scarves (you really do need them!) we jumped into our two seater buggies and headed out to the hills. We stopped at several view points to take photos and our guide and a photographer pointed out areas of interest. It was an excellent experience and one will 100% do again!
