Trip to Caminito del Rey was worth of visit. Our guide Luis was incredible. He told us a lot of interesting things about Spain in general and Caminito del Rey. He gave us the instructions and small information that were important for the visit itself. We spent good time there. We enjoyed the whole trip.
We arrived a little late as we couldn't really find where to park for the start. The team messaged us and when we replied with us being late, they were very accommodating and added us to the next group.
Great experience! Limited parking, busy but well organized .
We really enjoyed this experience, our guide Rachel was fantastic and taught us so much about the walk and how it was created. Definitely recommend doing this with a guide.
This trip was absolutely amazing, beautiful scenery through the gorge. Daphne was a great guide and was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Book the trip!!
This was a really nice experience and learnt a lot with the guilde she was called Lilly thank you so much Lilly we really enjoyed it
It was a fraud!!!!!!!! Be very cautious. We bought tickets for Del calmito del Ray. Once we showed up at the activity, there was not reservation under our names. 4 more people arrived after and were stock in the same situation. We are looking to be refound right and it seems impossible!!! So we aware that this site is NOT legit!!!!
Very safe! Amazing views! I’m so glad I chose to take this adventure! It was not overly demanding physically.
If you’re driving to the meeting point, park at the south car park at El Chorro, walk 200m to the shuttle bus €2.50 to the meeting point. The walk finishes near the south car park. Fantastic experience, well worth it.
Definitely worth doing as a guided tour as you learn so much more about the history of the gorge. stunning views!
Great experience and guided tour, our guide Rachel was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and comforting during some of the more nerve wracking moments like the bridge crossings. Things to note: we went in July at 2pm, it was hot! Take lots of water, hat, and proper shoes. This isn’t just a touristic walk this is a hike, and a rather long one so treat it as such and come prepared. The whole excursion takes about 4 hours and you are outdoors on the trail the entire time, especially if you plan on coming in the afternoon during peak summer.
Great experience. Guide Ramon was polite, funny, considerate and knowledgeable
We had an amazing day. We met Carlos our guide in Malaga with a coach load of people. Travelled to Alura and met another guide called Tina. Our group was split in 2 for our trip around Alura and Caminito Del Ray. Tina was our guide - she was particularly good and explained everything really well. She was interesting to listen to and invited questions. I found the Caminito really scary! Tina was very calming and I wouldn’t have been able to complete it on two feet without her! Thank you Tina for your patience and kindness. We had a very memorable trip. It was a full day out and definitely worth it. We highly recommend Aluratours.
The trip was well organized and the guide was great! Really informative. Caminito del Rey is a must see when you’re in the area!
Best walk you can possibly do in Malaga!
We had an unforgettable day. What an impressive environment! Despite the weather not being optimal, we enjoyed ourselves. Also thanks to our guide Rachel (Aloratur) who knew a great deal in a wonderful and especially humorous way.
They sell us a tour in Spanish but on-site, we are entitled to a tour mostly in English because there are mostly English speakers. We therefore decide to manage on our own and we abandon the group. It is better to buy a ticket on the official website, at least twice as cheap. But you have to do it very far in advance.
Nice walk accessible to everyone on the Camino, but unfortunately the 1.5 km at the start (before reaching the entrance to the Camino) and then after (to reach the village and the train station) are more difficult. The very good guided tour is, however, superfluous but mandatory when there are no spots left!
Unique experience, with a very competent guide (Javier)
Breathtaking hike through a great gorge. Our guide did a super job and explained everything well. For us, it was a super experience!
Walk on a trail and a few footbridges. Very dedicated and energetic guide. No difficulties in doing it
The standard ticket costs 10 euros. The one from Viator with a guide is 30. They don't release more tickets for sale on the main website because they don't want to, and that makes the experience cost an arm and a leg, because there is no way to get them if it's not through 2 or 3 companies that are always the same ones. From here I make an appeal for them to offer more tickets through the main website.
Fantastic experience for the activity to be carried out and above all to live this adventure with a group and a guide. Everything is also described along the route with information and history of the path.
The location is easily accessible. The tour was spectacular. a professional guide who speaks excellent English and takes his time.
