Fabulous day. Melina was a brilliant guide, providing so much useful information and being super helpful when we had questions. A good amount of time to see lots, although you could spend several days here. It is so amazing.
Really enjoyed the day. We were picked up on time from Malaga. Our guide Melina from visitanddo was absolutely brilliant, really friendly and attentive. We had booked to see the Cathedral with her, but while on the bus, we opted to do the palace too (bring your passport or ID because this wasn't mentioned before and ID is needed for the palace). Unfortunately, the Spanish Square and the park were closed because it had been raining the day before but Melina brought us to the centre of the town where we had free time before the tours. The tours were brilliant. Melina was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I'd definitely book another tour.
Very helpful and informative guide, Jorge. Because of the rain, though, we broke away from the group and explored Seville on our own. When the rain did stop we really enjoyed the city.
We did not enjoy our experience with this company at all. Regarding organization, the meeting point is not clear. They tell us to meet them at 7:45 at Andalucia Avenue, specifying between 2 banks "Unicaja and Caixa". The stop located at this place is a city bus stop. There is no employee on site to guide us when we arrive. For our part, we had arrived at 7:20 to ensure we were on time. At 7:45, no bus. 8:00, no bus. No way to reach them with the info we had. We spoke to a guide from another excursion who informed us that the bus was stuck in traffic. In the end, they arrived 30 minutes late (8:15) and stopped much further away than the designated point to pick people up. Bus: the bus was full, too full for the size of the vehicle. It was overbooked. We were really "packed" in the back. Some couples had to sit separately because there was no space available for them. The bus was not great; noisy and the air conditioning worked poorly, which is not ideal in Seville. I felt like I was in a yellow school bus. (See photo of our ripped-off air conditioning vent). Knowing that the activity is free time in Seville, the organization and transportation are essentially what we are paying for, and here they did not meet our expectations at all. We did other excursions this week in Malaga (Marbella/Mijas, etc.) with other companies and everything went very well, so I don't know if we were unlucky or if these are the normal standards of Visitanddo, but it is not comparable. As for Seville, the city is magnificent and we loved it. We are already looking forward to returning, but not with this company. We are very disappointed to have done business with them; it is one of the only negative points of our 12 days in Spain. We hope that they review their way of doing things, because it is not professional, nor up to standard.
Since nothing is offered in German in southern Spain, we took it in English. It is just very exhausting in the long run with limited school English. The excursion and the visit to the cathedral were very nice, however.
Excellent bus service and a knowledgeable and very friendly guide, but if you choose the guided tour of the cathedral with the Giralda, you use up all the available time, penalizing everything else. The Plaza de España is beautiful.
The guide was very impatient and left us very "larged" in the city. We were very stressed by the tight schedule to get to the place of the start of the guided tour, as we were left at Plaza de España and had to run to get to the cathedral in less than half an hour. Even having to go to the bathroom during the journey... we had to enter the University of Sevilla and we felt very lost. During the tour my friend, who does not speak English, was reluctant to ask the guide to continue speaking in the 2 languages, since the rest of the group was English. The guide made it clear during the visit that he was only speaking tb in Spanish because of her, which left her pretty embarrassed, and she ended up saying that she was going to try to understand the explanations in English. Glad we had access to Google Maps so we could locate ourselves in the city. On the climb to Giralda the guide tb was not. There should have been explanations about the view up there. Tb we were not previously warned to have to cover our shoulders. This should be informed to tourists, even more at a heat of 40 degrees!!!
Very good. Excellent excursion. In addition we were organized to do tb Real Alcázar and we managed to know everything. Really very satisfied. Thank you.
