A very well organised tour. Our Guide from Málaga, Carlos, was very friendly and knowledgeable and our local Gibraltar driver/guide was excellent! The day is very long as it takes at least 3 hours by bus each way, but it's completely worthy. The St Michael's cave and the monkeys are top attractions and shouldn't be missed. It would have been nice to have an extra half an hour in Gibraltar main street but we are overall happy and we recommend it.

Perfect tour of the Gibraltar, visited Rock, Cave, and other surrounding places! The tour also permitted plenty of time for visiting & eating in the shopping area! Very informative & well organized! Thank you to the bus driver, the guide, and the mini bus driver/guide!!!
It was a long bus ride from Playamar. But if you want to see Gibraltar, it’s probably the way to go. Make sure you book the rock tour. Otherwise, all you will be doing is shopping.
Get on the coach first because as a couple we were separated. Only got 20 minutes in the cave which felt very rushed and only a 5 minute stop to see the monkeys!! Very disappointing.
It was a lovely experience. The guide was quite informative about the history of the area. There were two cruise ships docked, so it was a bit crowded. The only negative thing I can say is that the bus trip is so long because we made 8 stops to pick up more people. I was at the first stop which means on the return trip those on the bus first were last to reach their stop. I don’t know that there’s a solution for this, but be aware of it before you go.
I had been to Gibraltar before but not on a tour. It went well until we realized that the bus wasn’t going to take us to the top- the absolute best part with an amazing view. It was VERY disappointing
Gibralter was quite a tourist trap. But, we enjoyed the trip up the mountain (even though a bit scary!). The monkeys were fun, St. Michael's Cave was very cool. The views were incredible. Just avoid the shopping in town!
We had a fantastic time on the Gibraltar Classic Rock Tour from Costa del Sol! It was a wonderful way to see Gibraltar and experience the beautiful scenery and unique history of the area. Our tour was well organized, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Costa del Sol!
The tour operator was great, send messages a day before to confirm location and time for pickup. They were a little behind schedule but communication was helpful and removed any concerns.
This tour was very well organised. We were picked up on time (7.15 in Malaga) and we were back in Malaga by 6pm. Our guide, Kovi (?) was excellent - patient, attentive, good English and gave very clear instructions. We had a couple of free hours in the centre of Gibraltar before transferring to a minibus for a tour of the rock. This took us to Europa Point and St Michael's Cave. Unfortunately, the guide on our minibus was not in Kovi's league. He spoke too quickly and did not give clear instructions. Despite this it was a wonderful day out. Don't miss it!
we did the rock tour and St Michael's Cave which is worth doing. the cave light show was beautiful. we got to see the monkeys up close which was really cool. we had plenty of time to get something to eat and walk the main street for shopping!
Super great experience! Lots of free time in the hot weather and the rock was very cool! Perfect amount of time - not tiring - nice air conditioned coach!
The trip was well organized and the guide was great 😃 It took around 2,5h to get from Benalmadena to Gibraltar with one stop for toilet and quick shopping. Return trip took approx 2h without stops. We received printed maps and clear instructions on our activities, and the guide gave an overview of the history of Gibraltar. The rock tour was OK, but a little bit too short. We had only 10 minutes at Europa Point, 20 minutes at St. Michael's Cave, and around 5 minutes at the Apes Den. There were also some quick stops to take pictures of some tourists spots, but without leaving the bus. We didn't visit the glass Skywalk, nor the Windsor Suspension Bridge which I was hoping for ☹️ Overall the rock tour took 1,5h and later we had 3 hours to spend in the vicinity of the Main Street where we could eat something and buy souvenirs.
The guide and driver were helpful. The tour of the rock very interesting. The tour provides plenty of time at Gibraltar to eat and look at the shops. The low rating relates to the long journey of 4 hours from leaving Malaga to the bus parking in Gibraltar. One hour going through the border control and one hour picking up at several high traffic locations in Costa del Sol. The tour company has no control over crossing the border but should structure the tour to reduce the amount of time spend in traffic going through the towns in Costa del Sol when the majority of people started in Malaga.
Benjamin was great, very helpful and knowledgeable, and a great voice he could of talked the whole trip 😂 Everything was smooth and well communicated. I opted for the rock tour, which was well worth it and included fee to st michaels cave and still has a good few hours to mooch around the city.
Excellent! Everything was ok
We did the round trip bus from Marbella to Gibraltar from visitanddo. The pickup was on time and the travelling to and from was good. The rock tour in Gibraltar was disappointing. The representative never told us the tour didn't go to the top of the Rock so we felt a bit mislead and ripped off. This was the main thing I went to Gibraltar for. The rock tour guide did his best but because he drove a small bus he was unable to get to the summit and we had no time on our own to go up independently.
Great experience, informative and enjoyable experience well organised trip to Gibraltar. Well worth it
The information provided by our tour guide Sara and the recording on the bus were repetitive, basic, dated, with no deep knowledge of Gibraltar's rich history. We were expecting much more.
Well organized with a friendly and knowledgeable guide in a brand new bus. Everything went smoothly and was very enjoyable. Many thanks to the team at visitanddo.com!
The visit to Gibraltar was fantastic. I especially liked St. Michael's cave. The trip to Malaga from Gibraltar was very long though so, although it is a long day, it is well worth a visit.
Very. good tour. The tour guide was very professional and clear with his explanations. Very punctual too. However, the bus was not comfortable enough for such a long trip. The seats have not enough space for the legs for a tall person.
We did that tour with tour guide Benjamin. He is a very good guide, very knowledgeable and intelligent. He provided us lots of interested information. The only reason I rate this tour 4 stars because in Gibraltar we waited guided Rock tour with affiliated company for one hour. So we had free time one hour , than tour itself 1.5 hours and free time again 1.5 hours. It was inconvenient as we had to walk close around bus station in our free time and we're not able to explore the area further away. When we reserving that tour it was advertised 1.5 hour of guided tour and 3 hours of free time, so we had an impression that we would have 3 hours of free time after guided tour
The caves were nice to see and we did see monkey when we came out of caves but that is about it. This tour doesn't advertise clearly that it does not go to the top where most monkeys are. A very long day that isnt really worth it.
We had a great time visiting Gibraltar and doing the rock tour. We were able to see St. Michael's Cave with a light show which was mesmerising. There didn't appear to be any monkeys when we arrived, but when we were waiting to leave I saw one and was able to get really close to him (pic included ). We saw more monkeys which really was the highlight of the trip. Gibraltar was beautiful and we had a really good day for it. Our tour guide Alex was very friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend this trip
Gibraltar is a very unique place and the tour was great - well organized, and our guide Covi with her warm and joyful personality made it an all around fun and pleasant experience!
The only reason I didn't give a 5 out of 5 was that when I booked our tour it mentioned only 2 pick up points but in reality it turned into a lot more there was 4 more along the way which made the time in the bus a lot longer getting there and back. But overall the tour delivered on all it promised. Shout out to Benjamin and our Driver Juan.
I would definitely recommend this tour. I almost didn’t do it after reading reviews complaining about the stops to collect other passengers but it didn’t take that long. Yes it’s an early start but worth the effort. Covi, the tour guide did a fantastic job as did the driver. We certainly appreciated the coffee stop on the way to Gibraltar especially as once we arrived we went straight on to the Rock tour. The Rock tour was definitely worth doing but more communication from the driver/guide would have been helpful as we didn’t always know how much time we had at some of the stops. Covi made sure that everything went smoothly to and from Gibraltar and that everyone on the bus enjoyed the tour.
Really happy with the tour and the guide! He explain everything so clear and easy to understand in order the explore the maximum! Great job!
Very nice well planned trip to the rock of Gibraltar. The Tour Guide was very informative and friendly and punctual. Everything went very smoothly.
Long ride both ways from Malaga with many stops to pick up others which we knew, yet it was excessive. Only given 20 minutes in the cave, not long enough to watch the show they provide. Our small van driver gave us 5 minutes FIVE at the monkey den. We couldn't have walked to the entrance and back in 5 minutes. Needless to say, we saw 1 monkey on the road who ran away immediately. Our small van driver spoke 4 words to us the entire time, they were "20 minutes" and "5 minutes". Once we arrived in Gibraltar we had an hour to kill before getting on the small van Why not use that time on the rock! We did not go into the Rock or drive to the top. Big disappointment and waste of money. I only use Viator and have had many fantastic tours, MANY! I will continue to use them, but beware of this particular tour. It's no fun and you don't see the Rock or the monkey den. I'd like a refund.
Tour guide (Ales) was great, always worried with the full group. The Rock and the Cave of St Michael worth a visit and I’d reccommend to do it by bus (to be possible to see all the places)
The dolphin trip was excellent and the guide was very knowledgeable. It is a place and tour I would recommend for the whole family.
Ales was amazing. Clear, helpful and funny. Best idea to combine it with Rock tour. As a first timer this was important! Remember to take water and food with you to maximize your experience
very well organized tour in terms of time and information, with a very professional guide - Imanoil. I highly recommend it.
We took this tour as a day trip from Malaga. The bus was comfortable and the guide was pleasant. We also did the tour of the rock, it was nice but the stops are short. Decent value for money
Tour was very well organised. Enjoyed ourselves (2A, 2C) despite it being rainy and cloudy. The guide, Bovi, communicated clearly and was very informative. Well recommended!!
Great trip, I did it from Malaga to Gibraltar and did the rock tour too. Really worth it, I enjoyed the experiences in the cave and with monkeysss. In addiction our guide, Carlos, was a really top player. Great professionist, clear and helpful. Thank you!
Carlos was a great guide, very professional. The whole trip we felt comfortable, at ease and well-informed. Strongly recommendable! :)
Carlos, our guide was brilliant. His English was superb and his presentation was very clear and engaging. All arrangements for passport control etc were clearly explained. All in all a very well arranged tour with an excellent host. Highly recommend.
Amazing trip, planned really well and ran by Carlos. Really informative and interactive, Carlos made sure everyone knew exactly what to do and where to be.
we liked everything very much. Mrs. guide - Covi and Mr. driver Francesco were very nice and helpful. Very nice atmosphere. I recommend
Our family (4 adults and 2 young kids) visited Gibraltar on April 2025. We started our trip from Fuengirola and the bussride took around 1.5h. Our guide Alex was very helpful and told us information about Gibraltar. When in Gibraltar there were 3 different options, we chose the 1.5h dolphin tour. The other options were 6h on your own (you can plan your own visit and do what you want) or 1.5h Rock tour and around 4.5h freetime in Gibraltar. All groups had alltogether 6h in Gibraltar. Everything went smoothly, we saw many dolphins on our boatride and had some time to walk around and do some shopping on the main street. Very nice trip, the kids enjoyed it as well.
Just returning from our trip to Gibraltar, it was amazing! We took the Cable car to get up to the top of the Rock and walked the sight-worthy locations. It succeeded my expectations. The views are breathtaking, the monkeys are very interesting and cute (please, give them the respect they deserve, they are not pets but wild animals, even if they are used to human contact), the cave and batteries are nice as well. I would also like to specifically give my gratitude to our tour guide, Ales. The guy is very experienced, has very good dry humor, has no nonsense attitude, but obviously cares about the people he is responsible for. Jsi frajer, Aleši!
It was an incredible experience! Very different and beautiful picturesque landscapes. I would really recommend to do this tour. Crossing the border and seeing the British side was unique. I did the rock tour and I really liked it. This tour gives you enough to see the whole Gibraltar.
This tour really surprised me, it was absolutely beautiful! The view and nature were stunning! Also my guide Alex was extremely helpful and sweet! 10/10 would recommend!
Great trip, we enjoyed it. Our guide Ales was very accommodating to all the passengers and gave good info and led us. The guide for the rock tour was very informative and friendly. We saw lots of monkeys
Everything was perfect, whole trip, the tour guide Ales was fantastic. He helped us with Lot of things and give us Lot of information.
This was a great day trip from Benalmadena. We had a very clear day so that made the views even more spectacular. The tour was interesting. A very worthwhile trip to do. Lots of interesting history there.
Jorge's language skills are seriously impressive!! We have loved everything about our trip and it was well worth the money 😍
