Overpriced and cranky park guides426mirjamp
Anna, the coach guide was very friendly, but we didn’t see here much because the park guides take over. Once you get at the park, the cranky park guides will hurdle you like sheep, snapping at you, hating tourists it seems. The very cranky female park guide was clearly annoyed by tourists. The system with the voice devices are dreadful and a waste of money. Along the Caminato there are special park guys who will blow the wistle in a very loud way to activate you to move on! Move on! The trip to the small white village for 30 minutes didn’t make any sense. All in all, heavily overpriced, basically you pay 45 euros pp to get there and back with the coach. The Caminato itself is a beauty.

The guided excursion to the Caminito with an official guide is very interesting; we were lucky to have a guide who passionately explained the geological evolution of the rocks, the history of the construction of the path, and provided information on the flora and fauna, always very calmly. Furthermore, for those like us who do not know Spanish that well, he spoke slowly, enunciating the words well.
