My partner and I recently stayed at this incredible hotel, and it completely exceeded our expectations in every single way The location could not be better—it is right in the heart of Málaga, exceptionally central, and within easy walking distance of everything. The hotel itself maintains a very high standard of luxury and comfort. The rooftop pool area is fantastic—a wonderful, relaxing spot to sit back, unwind, and enjoy the vibe What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its extraordinary service. The staff goes above and beyond in ways we have rarely experienced anywhere else Incredible empathy and care: When we weren't feeling well during our stay, the team was genuinely concerned for our well-being and constantly checked in on us. I was even served a warm chicken soup directly to make me feel better! Furthermore, when we brought some food from the local supermarket, the restaurant staff without hesitation offered to heat it up for us in their kitchen. That level of kindness and flexibility is practically unheard of Flawless attention to detail: Right down to our departure, their service was top-tier. They personally escorted us to our taxi, handled our luggage, and made sure to speak directly with the driver to specify exactly where we needed to go. ​If you are looking for a luxurious stay in Málaga with top-notch amenities and heart-warming, world-class service, look no further. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The room was gorgeous, beautifully maintained, and very clean. The breakfast was also amazing, with a huge variety of options to choose from. I especially appreciated the designated gluten-free area, which made breakfast so much easier and more enjoyable. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into accommodating different dietary needs both at the breakfast buffet as well as the restaurant in the hotel. Everything throughout the hotel was very well looked after, and the rooftop pool was such a lovely bonus and the perfect place to relax. We also enjoyed a lunch at the hotel’s restaurant which was one of the food highlights of our trip! Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

The Vincci Selección Posada del Patio markets itself on attention to detail — unfortunately that promise is only partially delivered. While our room and private patio were genuinely beautiful and exactly what we hoped for, the public areas fell well short of the five star standard the hotel claims. The pool area was a particular disappointment — dirty surroundings and murky water are simply not acceptable at this level. After a long day wandering the extraordinary shops and beaches of Málaga, the last thing you want is a pool you don’t feel comfortable relaxing in. José the bellman was a genuine bright spot — wonderful, warm and attentive in every interaction. He deserves better surroundings to work within. The ancient city walls visible beneath the hotel and the historic bones of the property are extraordinary — the potential here is undeniable. But potential and execution are different things, and on this visit the gap between the two was noticeable. Beautiful room. Disappointing experience overall.

Just had the most amazing week. Perfectly located in Malaga, access to lots of bars and restaurants, shops and museums. 20 minute uber ride from airport. Hotel is tastefully designed, comfortable and clean. Our room (130) was on the first floor accessible by lifts at either end of the floor. Well equipped bathroom with all the essentials including Clarins products. Pool, albeit small was wonderful and we always got a spot to relax with bar service conveniently on hand, along with towels. However it is the staff that make this hotel so special. Warm, friendly and very helpful. Huge shout out to Miguel and Adi, who, on finding out I was unwell did everything they could possibly do to make me more comfortable. Will definitely return.
