We stayed here for 2 weeks when we were in Fuengirola last week. We like it alot. Good location, friendly staff and generally clean. We had a room with sea view and it was great. The only thing is that some of the housekeeping didnt do a good job on cleaning the room. But overall we enjoyed our stay..

This hotel is amazing.Everything here is great. It is hard to find a flaw. My husband and I were there for 18 days in june and I wish we had stayed longer. On arrival, after 20 minutes we were given a room on the 11th floor facing the beach, a beautiful room as usual. We have always booked a deluxe room with ocean view whenever we travel to this hotel. The view is just priceless! The room is small but was kept spotless thanks to the room housekeepers during our stay. One funny thing We always notice in the bathroom, and ask ourselves how do the room housekeeper place the clean towels on that rack so high in the bathroom!! We have to ask them next time we go. We are Canadians and not short people but we had to almost jump to reach them to use them. The buffet breakfast has everything in it including the Cava! Tables are cleaned fast. Many staff working there. The buffet dinner was good too, with many food choices, a nice salad bar, and lots of desserts, cakes, flan, rice pudding, ice cream, candies, dry fruits, and fresh fruits too. The pool was clean, water is not heated, and was cold to our standard but we enjoyed it! The food at the restaurant by the pool was very good, excellent food and a very good menu. We ate there few times for lunch while staying at the pool. ALL staff, EVERYONE at this hotel are very polite, very pleasant, extremely helpful. They all speak good English. We speak some spanish and practised a bit with everyone there. The hotel location is excellent, across from the beach, there is a store at the corner where one could buy water, drinks, snacks and almost everything. There is a Mercadona 10 minutes walk, also another food store 2 minutes walk from hotel. The buses terminal (buses to ho to Malaga, Mijas, Marbell etc..) is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel, so is the local train station. Fuengirola Mercadillo (flea market) is about 20 minutes walk from hotel. We love this hotel, it feels like home with so many pleasant warm people working there. We will return soon God willing.
A lovely hotel. Very clean hotel room. Breakfast was ok, just a standard buffet breakfast. Fantastic location. I stayed with my husband for 4 nights, but I don't think my children would of liked it as the pool is very small, ideal though for smaller children. House keeping was great, beds were made everyday and changed bedding we've other day. Our view from our room was a beach view room and it was just amazing.
We have visited the Fuengirola and Los Boliches area many times but thought we would give this stunning hotel a try as I was celebrating my retirement and wanted something nice. When booking my tour operator was unable to offer a sea view room, but advised they would note my request directly with the hotel. Obviously I am unsure if this happened as we didn't occupy a direct sea view, however, we were allocated a beautiful, immaculately clean room on floor 11 with a view over the marina. Was lovely to watch the morning and night activities of the area from the spacious balcony. We didn't have breakfast until the final day as we thought it a bit pricey however had we known about the 15% discount for just registering with the hotel we would have certainly used it - the choices are unbelievable!! From continental options, cereals, salad, cheeses, meats, fish, a full range of cooked including all types of eggs, bacon, sausage etc, juices, teas, coffees, cava - the blue is a defo to try. Then to finish it of these is a sweetie trolley. We were so impressed we decided to eat at the buffet dinner, again with 15%. The choice was again unbelievable and included a drink. Due to the space the pool can get busy and the usual towels left for hours with noone on the loungers for hours. Common problem as most hotels. The pool snack menu is plentiful but we didn't try it as again felt it was expensive for snacks. The lobby area is stunning with plenty of seats. During our stay there was world cup football games on, but never too busy. Overall a lovely stay and we will return and take advantage of the discount.
Had a lovely week stay at the Leonardo hotel. Location was ideal with shops and pubs right beside it and only a short walk to “Fish Alley” which was a great find full of local pubs and restaurants. The rooms were cleaned everyday and any staff we dealt with were so friendly. Can’t comment on the food as we did not have any breakfast or lunch here but the drinks were lovely and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend and we’ve already said that we’d return to this hotel on our next trip to Fuengirola!
