Vallee De Mai Tour (From Praslin)

I cannot fault this company. Excellent service throughout. They rely heavily on tourism in the Seychelles so service is important to them which really shows with Creole Travel. All the guides that we had on several trips, were so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and proud of their country. If I was to return to the Seychelles I wouldn't hesitate to book trips through them again.

We had a great time with Mario, who was passionate and thorough in explaining the beauty of Vallee de Mai.

This was a full day from our hotel on Mahe and included both Preslin and LaDigue. Our tour guide GALINA made the trip. Pick her or request her if you have the choice. She was born on Preslin and has all the “local knowledge”. She explained the Valley de Mare and Coco de Mare so well! Very interesting and it felt like we better appreciated why it was such an important part of their culture and ecosystem. GALINA is both fun and passionate about her country! Lunch was first rate on LaDigue and the second part of the tour at the coconut plantation and exquisite beach was very informative and relaxing as well! We were very happy we took the tour with GALINA an CeoleTravel!

We discovered the Seychelles for the second Time with our son. It was perfect. We loved the vallée de mai discovery with our son.

It is good experienced but little hyped. You can see stuff without going inside. It would be great if the center promote complementary guided tour in group. Commercial guided tour making less attractive to visit.

During my vacation on the island of Praslin, my girlfriend and I, took several excursions with the tour operator CREOLE, and I must say that we had a great time. The organization was perfect, punctual, and without a hitch. The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. Also, a special mention goes to our Italian contact, Luana, who was able to support us at jn any occasion. It was a perfect vacation. I highly recommend it.

This trip was definitely not worth £150 for the two of us, very disappointing. The transport didn’t turn up at the hotel, when we did get picked up I was expecting something a little more private and comfortable for the money. Unfortunately I don’t rate Valle De Mai, we didn’t see a lot other than Coco de Mer trees, a big spider and geckos that we see every day by the pool of the hotel. Don’t get me wrong, the young guide was very knowledgeable and lovely but it didn’t make up for lack of things to see. To top it off, we didn’t get the bottle of water as per the trip guidance.

We stayed 6 days in Praslin and took all our excursions with the Creole Travel Services. We were truly delighted with all our excursions. Between the quality guide, a team always smiling, extraordinary days, everything was truly just incredible and very well organized. I would particularly like to thank Valerie from the Creole agency who is truly brilliant. Every day we receive a message from her to keep us informed of the next excursion or the news of the day. Stunning nature in Vallee de Mai (guided tour is recommended) good round trip over Praslin to see the northern coast incl. lunch and fantastic Anse Lazio. Many thanks to Natalya for organising this tour for us.

Did the Praslin and La Digne tour and honestly it didn't live up to the hype. Really not worth the money. Double nut tour location is beautiful but genuinely too long. I feel they're just making it up as they go along to stretch it out. La Digne is so boring. Coconut tour not worth your time. The beach so overcrowded. Ferrys from and back to Mahe are well organised and on time, but when I was sold my tickets, I was not informed about the different classes in the ferry's. Would have loved to sit in the air-conditioned area instead of the open air. No drinks or snacks available for sale on the ferry either. Lunch was buffet but truthfully not very tasty. Tour operators doing the best they can with what they have. Hotel pick up at 6am and drop off between 7pm and 8pm. Really too long of a day for what you end up doing in those hours.

Definitely, the trip was amazing, and we had the chance to see one of the most beautiful places from Praslin and La Digue. The lunch on Maison de l' Orangerie was incredible, but the most important piece of the tour was our guide, Collin. He was incredible, and believe me, if you have a bad day or a bad mood, definitely he will change it.i really recommend it

The whole experience with Creole agency has been very good ,staff was very helpful at all ports and the representatives at each island were very professional.

We did a half day tour to Vallee de Mai and then Anse Lazio beach . Everything easy very well organized and on time . Tour guide and driver were both great . Creole travel is a great company . Do use it when in Seychelles !

Main attraction is coco demer. There is too much of climb and having hiking poles is a better idea. We had a visit to Seychelles in first week of April and stayed in Mahe and Praslin , 3 nights each. Also had a day tour to La Digue. Overall experience was good. However Travel triangle/Holiday box could have advised us to pre- book electric buggy at LaDigue in advance for those who do not cycle. All these buggies were pre-booked and we had to engage a taxi at an exorbitant price of SCR 2000, a clear loot. The services of Creole travel service was amazingly perfect however the other provider Jadore for St Anne Marine national park was not at all professional and had poor quality of service. They had mentioned wrong hotels against guests which caused confusion to the pick-up driver. Also they did not honour their own voucher and had to argue with them to show the Moyenne island which was included in the voucher sent by them. Maria from Jadore promised us on phone (after lot of arguments) that she will refund the ticket price but she never refunded despite repeated reminders. Jadore is not reliable at all. The Barbecue lunch at Cerf island was also unclean and not good for vegetarians. Only Rice and Dal (pulses) were provided to vegetarians, no equivalent BBQ veg. I wish St Anne park was also booked with Creole travel services rather than Jadore.

Having visited this attraction on a day with a bit of rain was both good and bad. The canape shield us from most of the rain, but wildlife (and guides) are less motivated to put on a good display on a rainy day. A good guide will introduce you to the special botanical stories and specialities. Be aware: Mobile tickets are accepted, but there is no mobile coverage at the location, so it has to be downloaded prior to arriving.

The staff were digging for tip and really cared about us also the explanation is not accurate about the coco de mare a bit misleading.

Tour was amazing! Way more informational then I thought it was going to be. So much fun great tour. Very worth the money

An immersion into the interior version of the Seychelles on the island of Praslin. An interesting discovery of the site thanks to Jacqueline, our guide, who suggested it to us upon arriving at the location. It is good to have a guide for explanations and answers to our questions. We learn a little more about the Seychelles. Walk with a guide and then on our own, always in the shade.

The tour was dreamy. We had a German-speaking guide, and we can highly recommend Ferida; she did her job perfectly.

Superb guide from Créole. Jacqueline was lovely! Everything was perfect from the meeting point to the return, the organization was on point. We loved the visit to the Valley of May and the stop at Anse Lazio, a paradise. Thanks to her and to Créole for the organization.

Very interesting visit that includes not only flora but also fauna endemic to the Seychelles : walking within this large park with typical tropical vegetation is a really nice experience. To do , but with a good guide very prepared and exhaustive in explanations as we had (Vincenzo, a Sardinian gentleman who has lived there for almost 20 years)

Very successful excursion with Creole Travel service: visit of the valley of May with a guide speaking perfectly French and giving many very interesting explanations about this valley and the Seychelles in general. I recommend

We participated in the full day excursion from Mahé to Praslin and La digue. Guide named Galina really exceptional and spoke Italian. Unfortunately the weather was not favorable at all but this is nobody's fault. They picked us up at the hotel and brought us back. Lunch included except drinks. All day for a total of € 480 per couple. Not insignificant cost. The Group consisted of 18 people.

Just great, we did the valmer resort on Mahe, then the orange grove area on the dike and finally consistency lemuria on praslin. All visits were great, thanks to Jude, our super driver, the transfers were handled perfectly.

We saw a lot of coconut sea or coconut buttocks for the rest no animals. No need to take a guide because everything is explained. Even if you give a foundation 30 € admission is really exaggerated for what there is to see...

We visited the interior of the UNESCO heritage site Vallè de Mai in the company of the guide Mario ("but I am not Italian and I do not speak it"😂). Very well prepared, nice, good, good, good! He described flora and fauna, curiosity, all seasoned with spirit and fun. Then lunch at Cote d'Or buffet (very good) in La Piroghe and a few hours of bathing in Anse Lazio. Wonderful! We found ourselves on another excursion to Couriose Island and St Pierre to visit the turtles of Aldabra (protected species) and inland Curious Island with lunch and snorkeling (unfortunately not possible in St Pierre for the rough sea, but they found other possible sites off Anse Georgette and Anse Lazio plus lighthouse area. Wonderful! Highly recommended both excursions. We will be back as soon as possible for the catamaran! Meanwhile, thanks for the wonderful experience! Great also in support during the transfer islands and support at the airport. ❤️

Very nice tour with a very nice tour guide. The path is not challenging, closed shoes are better than flip flops :-)! You can learn a lot about the nature of the Seyschellnen and the Coco de Mer! Fun and interesting!

We visited the valley of May at 9am ideal there was no one 👍 we had taken a Dora guide We had a great time, she explained everything with humor and kindness

1. Dishonest and intrusive advice from Aida. 2. Russian guides spoke only Russian, although the group was mostly not Russian. 3.The group tour was poorly organized: no clear information about the daily routine. 4. Fahrida tour guide spoke bad German and kept repeating the same information.

I went to the Vallée de Mai with a friend to admire the famous Coco de Mer at its location. We booked a private tour in German. Dave told us a lot of interesting information about the largest nut and about the many other trees and palms that grow in this national park. A guided tour is highly recommended. Thank you Dave

The walk was really not enchanting! Arrival of several Créole Travel buses, We were "parked" at the entrance to this excursion, so very little space. We were then divided into groups according to the language spoken by the guide, which took quite a while. There were 24 of us for just one French speaking guide!!! Needless to say, in the narrow paths of the Mai Valley, the last visitors did not hear what the guide was saying to those in front. We had to hurry to take the photos to leave room for others because the guide was already leaving before everyone had passed. Very interesting visit, in a very pleasant setting, but totally ruined by too large a group!! We have the impression that Créole Travel only thinks about money and takes us for "cash cow" tourists without taking into account our well-being. To be banned with them! To do with a local guide on your own because it is very beautiful.

A place to do absolutely but we recommend doing it with a guide to understand the history and explanations of endemic flora and fauna. (150 rupees/p).
