Overall, the trip was well organized and enjoyable, though I think the itinerary could be improved with better timing. The two snorkeling locations were somewhat underwhelming, and I believe the time spent on Moyenne Island could be shortened in favor of visiting another attraction, such as the sandbank or a more scenic beach. That said, the staff were outstanding—professional, friendly, and excellent at what they do. Their dedication and service made the experience truly enjoyable.

Itinerary
Sainte Anne Marine National Park comprises 6 islands off the northeast coast of Mahé Island, Seychelles. There is much to see in the marine park, which is set amid dazzling turquoise waters and is thus, a perfect snorkelling spot.
Dominated by a hill rising to 246m and surrounded by thick tropical vegetation, Ste.Anne island is the site of the first French settlement in 1770, a courageous undertaking as the island was surrounded by swamps teeming with crocodiles.
Cerf Island is the second largest island in this Marine Park. This tiny island lies in the middle of the Sainte Anne Marine Park, and is surrounded by an enchanting underwater world and a rejuvenating coral reef.
A popular destination, Moyenne Island just under half a kilometres long. Amongst the lush vegetation of this wonderful tropical garden are the remains of early settler’s homes, pirates’ graves, a small thatched chapel and also giant tortoises roaming freely.
A close neighbour to Moyenne, Round Island features stunning beaches and coves with memorable swimming and on it is the exclusive island hideaway of Enchanted Island Resort.
A former prison, Long Island is located in the midst of the Ste. Anne Marine Park close to Round and Moyenne Islands. This coconut palm-covered gem reaches an elevation of 90m, and features fabulous powder soft beaches and beautiful turquoise seas.

Small boat, smaller plexiglas bottom, the spots we visted were devastated, few small fishes, overcrowded sandbank and a very questionable bbq lunch in a bush at the beach. The visit to the poorly held tortoises did not make the experience more interesting. The price was just ridicolous.
My husband and I were first introduced to Creole Travel Services and the wonderful Marie-Yvonne during our honeymoon stay at Mango House LXR earlier this year. She is truly a gem. Not only is she exceptional at what she does, but she has a way of making every experience sound unmissable. By the time she finished walking us through the options, we were convinced we needed to see everything Seychelles had to offer. We ultimately chose four excursions: -South of Mahé Tour (highly recommend asking for Jude as your guide!) -St. Anne National Marine Park & Moyenne Island -Sunset on the Rocks -La Digue Island Day Trip Our favorites by far were Sunset on the Rocks and La Digue Island. For Sunset on the Rocks, we knew we couldn’t pass up a breathtaking view to celebrate our honeymoon. Before reaching the rocks, you tour a massive nature conservatory complete with a greenhouse full of fresh greens, roaming peacocks, and giant tortoises over 100 years old. It poured rain the entire way up, but as soon as we reached the top, the sky opened up and revealed the most spectacular sunset we’ve ever seen. Paired with hors d’oeuvres and champagne, it truly felt like a scene from a movie. La Digue was another highlight. The only downside is the roughly 2 hour ferry ride from Mahé and let me warn you, LOTS OF PEOPLE GET SEASICK. Neither of us usually does, but after that very bumpy ride, we made sure to grab Dramamine for the return trip. Outside of that, the day was perfect. La Digue is a small island, so everyone bikes everywhere. After arriving, you’re taken straight to pick up your bikes, and from there you can explore the coastline, beaches, and iconic granite rock formations. They are enormous up close! The island is full of shops and food spots too. We had lunch at Natural Bar, and it ended up being one of our favorite meals outside of the hotel. For budgeting, expect to spend about $150–$300 per excursion. Since we were visiting for almost two weeks, we felt the cost was well worth it. Creole Travel Services made everything seamless, from pickup to dropoff, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. We usually like to explore on our own when we travel, but because we weren’t familiar with Seychelles, we felt it was best to follow the locals’ suggestions. If you’re comfortable having some help planning your adventures, I’d absolutely recommend booking with Creole Travel Services and especially with Marie-Yvonne to help curate an unforgettable trip.
My family and I arrived early and were given a warm welcome. The Capt, crew and guides did a perfect job. Special thanks to Collin,he was the life of the tour.
Very nice trip! The staff was very nice and friendly! The food as expected wasn't great as it was a remote island with only one buffet restaurant. The catamaran was very nice and despite very strong winds, it was quite stable and a lot of fun! Moyenne island is nice, the trail is not that great but beaches are magnificent!
we've been spoiled on our honeymoon trip, Laina, Galina and Alex thx a lot for making our trip even more special. we re grateful for the outstanding service. Creole travel you re next level fr sure!
Great way to spend a day, the tour is well hosted and operated. Snorkeling fun, visit to Moyenne Island, memorable visit with the giant tortoises and learning the history of Bernard Grimshaw's work to establish the park sanctuary. Despite the group being almost the full capacity of 50 people the boat did not feel over crowded and the staff interacted with everyone personally, friendly and efficient.
Fantastic tour from start to finish, well organised, informative, plenty of time doing our own thing and snorkelling which was a personal highlight of ours! Collin was great and even took some fantastic photos of us!
What an absolutely amazing experience...!!! I'm so glad that I booked this activity to be my first experience of the beauty and culture that Seychelles has to offer. Right from the get go, everything was organised very efficiently. We were picked up from our hotel at 8:45 am sharp on the morning of the trip and we were taken to the location from where the catamaran ride would start. The catamaran itself was excellent - a spacious and comfortable boat that was clean and well-maintained. The staff were highly professional, organised, efficient, and very polite and friendly. All boarding and safety procedures were explained in detail by our chief guide Collin and his fellow guides and the excellent boat crew. Once the ride started, it was great fun and the views and the colours of the waters were just breathtaking. We had our first snorkelling stop just off Sainte Anne Island and then after that, we were taken around the island on the boat. All this while, Collin and his crew - namely, Jacqueline, Garina (the other guides) and Bethane, Marcus, Daniel, Dariom, Corry, Thomas and Wayne kept looking after us very well and catered to all our queries and needs. The boat was expertly navigated and driven by our cool Captain Sam. We then stopped at Moyenne Island where we were treated to a sumptuous and filling Creole lunch which was served with love by the locals on the island. Collin did a fantastic job in explaining the history of Moyenne Island and its flora and fauna...and not to forget the main attraction of the island...the Giant Aldabra Tortoises which have been the island's longest residents. We were also taken on a very small trek which took us to an absolutely stunning viewpoint from where we could see the clear blue waters of the sea and the neighbouring islands. We were then given some time to relax and do our own thing on the island, after which we were picked up again by the catamaran and we headed back to Mahe. There was a second snorkelling stop along the way as well where we were able to see coral reefs and many beautiful fishes. And then, we headed back to Mahe and we were treated to a complimentary drink and a sweet snack by the crew which was a wonderful gesture on their part. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had on a sea cruise / boat cruise type trip. The locations were beautiful and the people that gave us company on this trip were excellent companions too. I would like to give a special thanks to Collin, Captain Sam and the entire crew and staff (who are named above) for taking such good care of us and making this a very special and memorable trip...Cheers...!!!
We had an incredibly fun and beautiful day—an experience we’ll remember forever! We felt completely safe while snorkelling, thanks to the amazing crew who were always friendly, supportive, and attentive. We truly appreciated the help whenever we needed it. Also we had very delicious lunch! Everything was perfect.
We had a wonderful day from start to finish all the guides were super gracious and always checking to see if we are having a good time - shout out to Galina who guided us through the park - she was always smiling even after another guest berated her for getting wet on the dingy ride to the island - Galina handled herself with grace- i'm not sure if i'd do the same- again we had a great day and felt well taken care of
The organisation was fantastic as it led to a really smooth experience, views from the boat were amazing and seeing the land tortoises on Moyenne Island was beautiful. The only down side for me personally was A. Being over charged for coconuts when we got to the Island. 16 Euros for 2 coconuts!!! - coconuts which were growing in the trees above us and only had to be cut open! I think if it states that lunch is included it should also include drinks. The only drink options for sale were your typical fizzy drinks such as coke or beers etc. B. Slightly Underwhelming snorkelling, although this may be because I have travelled to many destinations and seen marine life such as whale sharks and manta rays in the wild before. Although, we did hear and see dolphins in the distance which was amazing. Overall if you’re looking for a snorkelling/island excursion from Mahé, this is the one!! - the staff were great, knowledgeable & helpful at all times.
I'd like to share my exceptionally positive opinion of Creol Travel, the company that organized my tours during my week-long stay in Seychelles! From the very beginning, I was impressed by Creol Travel's excellent organization. Everything was meticulously planned, which allowed me to fully enjoy my vacation without any worries. I particularly appreciate the punctual hotel pickups, which greatly simplified daily logistics. What sets Creol Travel apart is the comprehensiveness of their offerings. On every tour, meals and drinks were always provided, which was incredibly convenient and comfortable, especially during full-day excursions. The optional tours offered were exceptionally well-organized. I had the opportunity to visit the beautiful islands of Praslin and La Digue, where I admired paradise beaches and unique nature. Equally fascinating were the trekking trails, such as the hike to Morne Blanc, which provided unforgettable views. Each trip was well-thought-out and full of attractions. A huge asset of the company is their incredibly friendly and experienced guides. Their knowledge of Seychelles, local culture, and nature was impressive. They could convey information in an accessible and engaging way, and their passion for the region was contagious. They were always ready to help and ensured a great atmosphere within the group. I wholeheartedly recommend Creol Travel to anyone planning a vacation in Seychelles! If you're looking for a professional, reliable, and passionate tour organizer who will take care of every detail of your trip, Creol Travel is absolutely the best choice. Thanks to them, my Seychelles vacation was truly unforgettable!
This was a perfect laid back day. Pickup was around 9am and I was back at my hotel around 5:30pm, so not a very long day. Each stop was well timed and nothing felt rushed. Lunch included very good options and it was a calm day at sea. It was cool to see the tortoises in their natural habitat and get history of the island.
An excellent all round trip very well organised. Thoroughly enjoyable. A super boat and good buffet lunch on an interesting small island. Snorkelling also good.
Not only did the beautiful sights of the two islands make the trip memorable but all the crew on the boat were fantastic. They looked after us all very well. Thank you.
Wow. What an amazing day out on the ocean. The weather was perfect and the trip was great. We learned so much about the Seychelles. We had some amazing food and entertainment. All in all a good experience. Most defenitly reccomended.
When went despite the bad weather and rain, the trip was still amazing. The snorkelling part could be better with the sun, but I still saw a lot of fish and corals. Moyenne Island is interesting and we saw a lot of turtles walking around in paths and the forest. The lunch was delicious and as a buffet option in the Jolly Roger bar, so you could take more if you were very hungry. Soft drinks were not free, but there were tea and coffee tanks. After lunch, you have roughly 45-60 minutes for freeze time on the Island (depending on how fast are you eating), and that time is enough to get a circle trail around the island without people (take more time if you are a slow hiker, as there are some steps there and ascending). After Island, we had another session of snorkelling for anyone who wanted it and this part near Moyenne was even more beautiful underwater. Note: the flippers and masks are provided, but if you have your own - take it. The snorkels did not have blockers, so harder to dive in. Also worth taking a snack with you as the lunch was about 13:30, which is around 4-5 hours after pick-up time.
Excellent day out. Friendly and knowledgeable crew, great snorkelling off the boat. Interesting and informative visit to the giant tortoises together with a tasty lunch.
My husband and I attended this tour yesterday with our friends. Booked through our Creole representative at our resort. Pick up from the hotel was punctual and comfortable. The whole tour was well organised. The boat was spotless and well maintained. Crew and guides were efficient and friendly. Snorkelling was excellent, at times I felt like I was swimming in an aquarium! Ferried by small dinghies to and from the island, which was well organised but took a while. Tour with Jeanette on the island was informative and entertaining. The other guide Colin was great also. The lunch on the island was great and the whole journey included lots of sailing time. A great tour!
Idyllic. What a place to go sail around aboard a stunning vessel. The staff are friendly and fun. The snorkeling was awesome, very well organised. The clarity of the water was great too. Moyenne Island was delightful. The history of the island(s) was interesting. The giant tortoises were a special treat to see in natural habitat. The flora was ace with informative plaques to explain. The food was delicious. A good variety of drinks.
Amazing day! My daughter snorkelled and saw loads , great tour of Moyenne with explanations of the history, plants and of course the giant tortoises. Lovely Creole bbq lunch. Highlight of our week , and every day was fabulous!
The full-day catamaran tour with Creole Travel Services to the Saint Anne Marine Park and Moyenne Island, and it was a fantastic experience. The tour offered stunning views of the Seychelles’ crystal-clear waters and lush landscapes. The crew was friendly, welcoming, and made sure everyone was well taken care of throughout the day. The excursion allows plenty of time for snorkelling, with plenty of time to explore the vibrant marine life in the protected waters, the gear is also available on the boat for clients. Moyenne Island was equally impressive, with its walking trails and giant tortoises, adding a unique touch to the trip. Overall, the combination of beautiful scenery, relaxed atmosphere, and great hospitality made this tour well worth it. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Seychelles!
It was an excellent tour with very friendly and helpful staff. The boat was very good and safe, the locations were beautiful. Would recommend
Absolutely wonderful experience. We were picked up promptly from our hotel in a very clean bus with a courteous driver. The boat was very nice with shaded and open areas, clean bathrooms. The guides and shipmates were very warm, polite and helpful. The snorkeling was excellent with lots of fish and reef . Moyene Island and the BBQ lunch were outstanding. All in all a fantastic way to spend the day
Sainte Marine (30 mins from Ferry at Roscoff) embodies Tranquility, a beautiful place with no shortage of good quality Restaurants & Café's and even the preverbial weekly market.. A clean & tidy laid back harbour village, the locals/people we found are extremely friendly and welcoming. I would simply say, remember that we are the visitors and guests of this beautiful village, being respectful of the their customs & culture should be a given. You wont find any Irish bars selling naff drinks and no Fish & Chip shops, thank goodness. This is a place that is ideal as a base to strike out further afield and do the touristy things that most like to do... If one want busy hustle & bustle then take the low cost water taxi to Benodet.. We have been three times and will go back next year.
We recommend this trip. We were snorkling and the visit to Moyenne Island was interesting with all the turtles who lives there. Nice lunch and enough food!
This is the best tour ever ! The entire crew and staff were phenomenal- the boat was spacious and great, the tour was awesome, the lunch in the island was fabulous. We had the best day ever - thank you so much to all of you - it really was terrific and great value.
Very nice trip, well organised and great guides, in particular our group (we were divided in small group when we went walking around the island) had Collin, who was very nice and entertaining. The snorkelling sessions were also nice and the lunch provided at the island was also excellent, a nice buffet with local music. Overall, very nice and good value for money.
We had a great day on the catamaran. It a great setup to enjoy the views and the staff was very welcoming and engaged. Special shoutout to Desmond for creating such a warm, genuine, and festive atmosphere.
We booked the trip via a Creole travel rep. We had a great day out on a lovely catamaran, with a couple of snorkelling spots and our guide Jacqueline was really knowledgeable about Moyenne island. We were really lucky to see dolphins, but apparently this is unusual (likely them avoiding the impact of a cyclone in Mauritius). St Anne island you don’t actually visit, but snorkel nearby to it. Would recommend if wanting to visit Moyenne and see the other islands from the sea.
Large capacity catamaran, super cool crew and spectacular views! Just beautiful to sail around St Anne Marine Park and awesome snorkeling experience as well! Tip: Bring Cash for drinks!
The crew is just the best, we had a great day enjoying St Anne. The catamaran is well kept and very clean. We had a lunch at Moyenne island which was very tasty.
This was one of my favorite excursions from Mahe. The weather was gorgeous and the team on the boat was fantastic.
Excursion on the island and party on the catamaran. We found out many interesting things about this island and tortoises. There was many interesting trees.
Mason’s Travel trip to The Marine Park and Moyenne Island was good value for money. There was snorkelling along the reef a ride in a glass bottomed boat to see the aquatic wild life, lunch on the catamaran with entertainment. We were ferried to Moyenne island in a small dinghy taking 12 people at a time. A walk round the island was interesting some wild life and plenty of different palms and tropical plants to see along with some good views from the island. The Jolly Roger bar was a welcome sight after the walk.We spent about 2 hrs there.A great day out.
Fabulous trip with brilliant staff. The highlight was Moyenne Island but the whole day is a wonderful experience.
At the begging we had some trouble in finding the suttle and salto to communicate with the agency, but the trip itself was very good, water visibility could be better also!
The crew and guides really poured their heart into this. It was a great trip. Lunch was amazing. It was so cool to be able to sail around the islands and get a tour from the locals… as a tourist, I could tell that I was appreciated and valued. They looked after us, and took very very good care of us! Thank you I would recommend this excursion to anyone and I give it 10 out of 10..
We have booked the Starfish tour which was exceptional! The best all-in-one day tour if your stay is short, including a boat trip, snorkelling, visiting the beautiful Ile Moyenne with turtles and a nice buffet lunch. We would like to thank Galina and Mick for making our day even more better!
Great stops for snorkelling. We wish we had more time though. 45 minutes stops just pass so quickly when you are enjoying yourself. It felt like swimming in an aquarium and we definitely loved the experience. The island that we visited was also really cool with the national park. The giant turtles are always fun to play with but if the only reason that you are joining to this tour is giant turtles, we had more time by visiting Mahe botanical gardens with these cute creatures. The lunch had many options but it wasn't the best considering the fish was not cooked well and we couldn't eat. Other options were ok but considering where you are in an island, it was all good.
Beautiful island with a lot of turtles, good lunch, good snorkeling point, that's how I wanted it 👍
The catamaran day trip from Mahe to St Anne Marine Park and Moyenne was super. After we made contact, Ishmail came to our hotel to confirm the booking and provide details. We were picked up on time from our hotel and taken by mini bus to the marina where the cat, captain and crew awaited. The cruise was just gorgeous and the crew multilingual, including French, English, Russian and German., which was great for the mixed group of travelers. The snorkeling was good however some of the masks/snorkels were not great, nonetheless we saw plenty of fish and the water was superb. Moyenne was fabulous and the tortoises super friendly! The guided walk was interesting, informative and fun. BBQ and buffet lunch was delicious and were entertained with local live music and singing. The cat was clean and well looked after. We felt relaxed and looked after by the friendly crew. It was definitely worth the money and I highly recommend this trip and Creole overall. Well done all!
Everything is well organised on the boat, the views and wonderful, from Praslin Island the views are paradisiac, the crew is helpful. The lunch on the Island is great! The musicians also, they make a really good show. It was the highlight of our trip!
The team on board was great. Had an awesome time with friends. Lunch and entertainment were great. Thank you all for such an excellent time. Will surely treasure it. Bravo Creole.
I think the Seychelles has the clearest water for diving and snorkeling. The dive masters helpful and the trip was great!
Great day out on the sea! The catamaran was in good shape. The crew was very nice. An excellent choice even on a windy day. The lunch was tasty.
The experience was great. The crew were very pleasant and helpful. The boat was clean. I also enjoyed the activities
Highly recommend. This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. The boat was immaculate and a lot of fun to be on. The snorkeling was good - the second location was best for more variety of marine life. One thing to know is that you will have to transfer to a small boat to get the island for lunch and the tour which actually was a little bit of a fun surprise. The crew was fantastic - Galina, Collin, Desmond and the rest of the crew kept us entertained and were very knowledgeable. The lunch was also great and had some live music. The tour was fun too on Moyenne Island we saw the large tortoises and baby tortoises and the coco de mer trees. Also they provide pick up and drop off so it was easy to get to the excursion. Highly recommend.
Great crew and nice boat. Enjoyed cruising around the islands and stopping at Moyenne Island. Loved the big tortoises, flora and fauna. Lots of history. Good day trip.
