We would like to give a very special mention to Thushantha Perera, our Villa Host, who was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly kind, warm and genuinely caring, and always made us feel completely looked after. Whatever we needed, he was there — remarkably quick, attentive and efficient, yet always with the biggest and warmest smile. His attention to detail and willingness to help with absolutely anything made us feel not simply like guests, but truly special and cared for. People like Thushantha are what transform a beautiful luxury resort into an unforgettable experience. We have travelled to many beautiful places, but this stay was truly something different. The combination of the extraordinary setting, the incredible villa and the exceptional people who take care of you made our time at Anantara Maia one of the most beautiful experiences we have ever had. Our honeymoon at Anantara Maia Seychelles was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was because of Angela Jeannie. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home. She went above and beyond every single day—giving us amazing recommendations on places to visit, the best food to try, and sharing her own travel experiences with us, which made every conversation so enjoyable. She constantly checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and always found ways to make our stay extra special. She genuinely cared about us, and it felt like we had a second mother looking after us throughout our honeymoon. One of the most memorable moments was the beautiful romantic dinner she arranged after my husband requested it. Every detail was perfect, making it one of our favorite memories from this trip. Our stay at Anantara Maia was even better than we expected—and we already had very high expectations. The hotel itself is gorgeous. The villas are comfortable, spacious, and everything works perfectly. The food is excellent and varied; even during a longer stay, you probably would not have the chance to try everything. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, most of which are included in the daily rate, from wine tastings to a variety of water and sea sports. But by far, the best part is the people who work here. They are always smiling and constantly looking for ways to make your stay even better. A huge special thanks to our villa host, Sisca, who is absolutely perfect in every imaginable way, and to Mike, who is responsible for the water sports. A 15/10 experience.
