Toledo Tour & Vineyard Experience With Wine Tasting From Madrid

Antonio was a wonderful guide who explained everything in detail, using vivid examples and metaphors that made the history easy to follow. The walk through Toledo was an amazing experience, and the city’s streets and sights made every story more memorable. At the vineyard, Antonio and the winemaker worked beautifully together, bringing the wines to life during an excellent tasting. Altogether, it was a delightful day of history, scenery, and very good reasons to raise a glass.

Amazing tour, logistic and guidetour

We had a lovely time on this turn. The day ran smoothly with an excellent guide, Antonio, and driver, Rueben. The tour guide was knowledgeable and kind. The wine tour was a great add on. We would recommend the this, and do it again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Diana! In my humble opinion, a tour where you get to see the countryside, explore a new town on foot, be driven to a winery hidden in the hills, and learn so much about the culture is not to be missed. The family run winery was extremely special and you could tell they really cared about what they are creating there.Deanna was incredibly friendly, warm, funny, and morphed a group of strangers into friends. We loved it! Highly recommend.

We had a great time on this tour. We appreciated the flexibility to be able to wander around Toledo on our own, rather than being tied to a fixed schedule. The included wine tasting was excellent! This was a great full day! The ride out of Madrid was on a small bus, our guide gave us local info as we left the city and then let us sleep! Her knowledge of both the area and the history was easy to understand and follow. Laura was a great guide! The city itself was beautiful and the cathedral was worth the visit. After Toledo we went to a winery that was not at all commercial. Real deal wine tour with the wines to back it up!

Our guide Christina was a lot of fun and had a good relationship with the vineyard owners so that part of the experience was vary fun. In Toledo, we selected just a brief walking tour with more free time which was perfect to get our bearings and learn a little bit of history before exploring. Our driver, Oscar, got us where we needed to go safely with a good sense of humor.

You could spend a couple of days in Toledo, however, we had a good taster! The winery was just what we required to relax and get us ready for our bus trip back to Madrid. I have to say this was the absolute highlight of my trip in Spain. Antonio is a great guide very personable making us both (my wife and I) feel warm and welcome. At all times we felt safe even navigating the rough farm roads to the vineyard we visited and that is thanks to our great driver Ruben. I could not recommend this tour enough to get out and see what is one of the most important historical sites in Spain. It is not only beautiful but steeped in history and charm. Don’t miss it!

Laura was phenomenal! Highly highly recommend, she has a lot of knowledge and Is Awesome on the fly, actually enjoys answering questions. She even gave us really good suggestions of where to go to eat for lunch that were off the plaza since the plaza is packed and overpriced often. Let us wander around a little bit, made sure we had maps with things highlighted, and explained where the meeting point would be that a child could understand. Never felt rushed, never felt like she hated her job, super super friendly and interesting. Lorenzo from the winery was just as much fun and engaging. Gave us nice big pores of some really good wines, not the stuff he can't sell. Love that it's a small local Winery and has a very tiny carbon footprint if any at all. You have to hear his story. Would definitely do again
