Toledo Highlights: Premium Small-group Tour From Madrid

Our original experience was changed to a bus-driven tour instead of a faster train so that means we lost 1+ hour extra on bus transfer. Our pickup back was supposed to be at 4 PM but was at 4:20 PM as the rest of the group spent some extra time in the winery (which is a bad choice, as you will basically see 2 hours of Toledo if you chose this). Overall, I was disappointed as the tour basically lasted 1.5 hours, after which we were left with free time. You basically see part of the Cathedral, one street in Toledo, and that is all. So, basically, it is a bus transfer with a really short tour. Hence, the value for money is poor. Save yourself time and go by yourself.

Christina was a wonderful tour guide for our day in Toledo. The city is quaint and beautiful with so much history. We found it very enjoyable.

Your tour guide is everything! What a wonderful tour guide Laura Sànchez turned out to be. Professional, knowledgeable, funny - great sense of humor, and great story teller. Unlike our previous guides who were adept at their local regions, Laura possessed a broad base of insight across much of Spain. It was just terrific having her as our guide. Holy Toledo! As Danny Thomas would say. Train was on time, souvenir shops were open and lunch-time cafes were full. Eat first, tour later!

Great experience to Toledo. Meet near the trains station in Madrid and just a quick train ride to beautiful Toledo. Cristina was friendly and knowledgeable. There is plenty of free time to discover this beautiful ancient town.

Laura was a great tour guide very informative with a good sense of humor. Altered the trip to suit our taste. Plus, we got to go to the nun bakery and eat a nun, cookie that is!

Antonio was the perfect guide! The tour was informative and comprehensive - while being enjoyable and not too intense (tranquilo!) I would highly recommend this tour. There is so much about Toledo’s history to learn. Antonio gave us the information in a way that was relatable and not overwhelming.

We spent 5 hours with Jose Maria starting in Madrid and touring Toledo. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and adjusted the tour to our needs.

My husband and I had a wonderful day with our guide, Christina. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She walked with us around different areas of Toledo, telling us a lot of interesting information about the city and its history. The cathedral was absolutely breathtaking, took lots of pictures!

Paying for train and hiring the local guide when there would have been a better valued - paid for a tour guide in spanish and received an tour in English

I was traveling alone, and the size of the group was awesome for some in my situation. The train ride was about 30 minutes each way. Christina our tour guide was awesome in sharing insights on Toledo once we arrived at the city. We also toured the Cathedral, which was worth the extra cost. Once we saw the sites, we have about 90 minutes to explore on our own. Highly recommend this tour!

Very comfortable ride to Toledo and winery. Our very pleasant guide Arian gave us lots of interesting information about Toledo and also translated for the wine tour as the guide did not speak English. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful experience- we started the day by getting picked up at a very clear meeting spot in Madrid, then drove an hour to Toledo- our tour guide Ari was very passionate and informative of Toledos history and good spots to go for lunch. Once we arrived we had over 2 hours in free time to explore and grab some lunch. Then we hopped back on the bus and drove to the winery which was spectacular. Best red wine I’ve ever tasted + beautiful views and building. We got to taste 3 glasses of their red during the fermentation process and after were offered 2 more glasses with tapas. Beautiful day and people, would highly recommend.

We so enjoyed our trip to Toledo! Natalia was a wonderful guide. We especially enjoyed the tour inside the beautiful cathedral. She recommended a wonderful tapas restaurant as well as some specialty shops. Taking the train was the best!! It was so quick and comfortable!

This was a great option of a tour if you are looking to only spend half a day and still have time to go back to Madrid! We got to see the highlights of Toledo and have a little free time as well to explore on our own and buy things and were still back to Madrid to enjoy the evening. We had “LAURA” as our guide for the Toledo tour by train from Madrid, this was a good tour to an amazing old city with a rich History. Our tour guide Laura was extremely experienced and gave us all the information of Toledo and all the key site, this is a must do tour when in Madrid.

Natalia was very friendly and available to answer questions. She is knowledgeable and speaks clearly. The audio was very good and comprehensible. I had a very good time and learned a lot I would not have known if not for Natalia.
