It was beautiful! If you want to spent more time in Toledo, do the full day tour. I thought it was too short for 1/2 day. If you have problems walking uphill, they have an escalator, it was worth the climb. 😊

Damasquinados Suarez Workshop offers an unforgettable journey into the world of damascene art, a centuries old craft brought from Damascus and perfected in Spain. Since 1927, this family-run workshop has been renowned for its exquisite jewelry and decorative pieces, each made by inlaying fine gold or silver into steel with exceptional skill and precision. Visitors can observe master artisans at work, crafting unique pieces that capture the rich heritage and artistry of Toledo. The shop’s welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and dazzling selection make it a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic piece of Spanish culture and history.
Free time to explore the city at your own pace. This is the ideal moment to immerse yourself in the essence of Toledo. Walking through its cobbled, narrow streets invites you to get lost in its layers of history, art, and culture. Reviews
It was a good bus ride to Toledo. The Damascus Steel factory was interesting but too short. Silvia , our guide, spoke English but so quickly that 4 of the 5 of us couldn’t understand her commentary. The office staff was curt and dismissive. The bus going to Toledo, when the tour commentary was given, had windows so dirty it was difficult to see what the guide was referring to. The different bus coming back to Madrid was much nicer, cleaner and more comfortable.
It was a really good experience, the place is so beautiful and the guide is very good at giving advices, food was amazing and you can also take good pictures
Toledo is a beautiful medieval town. After making a stop for a beautiful view, we stopped at a factory where they made swords. After that, we were dropped off and told to go up an escalator to get to the town. Those who had a full day tour had a walking guide and those who had the half-day tour were on their own. When we got off the escalator, we did not know which way to go no great directions. We walked around trying to find the cathedral and palace with no luck. This tour should’ve had a guide walking us around for two hours because we couldn’t even find our way back to the bus. Another suggestion would be to give everybody a map on how to get there sort of a wasted day, but the town is absolutely beautiful. I hope to get back there one day if you’re going to do this tour do the full day. Don’t bother with the half-day not enough time.
Basically in half day tour only includes your transport and tour of a sword factory. It should have been advertised clearly so customer can make an educated decision.
The half day tour really isn’t a half day. It’s actually 8 hours from start to finish. Our tour guide was Arantxa and she’s very good. We walked a lot through Toledo including inside visits of the synagogue, a masterpiece painting of El Greco and the cathedral. We had time for a lunch break and souvenir shopping. She explained things well and we enjoyed our tour.
Quick, efficient, on time. The price was right. Super clean, modern busses. Tour was the perfect amount of time.
The bus we took to Toledo was very crowded and run down. The air didn’t work or circulate. The stop at the sword factory was too long and the walking tour was just OK.
Toledo should be on any list of must-sees in the Madrid area. Old beauty, history everywhere, and beyond charming, are just a few phrases that describe Toledo. Our guide gave us a great overview of the city. Several people had recommended this place, and it did not disappoint.
It was a good first experience in Toledo. Gave me a feel for this stunningly beautiful city. I would love to return.
The excursion delayed 40 min to begin, while we had to wait outside in a cold morning. On the other hand, the time to come Back to Madrid was the same. So.. We had to visit Toledo in less than 2 hours!
First off, I was running late. My Uber driver dropped me off ten minutes away from the bus but, the driver was very kind and waited. Miguel is an excellent driver. Our tour guide, Angel, was very considerate to speak in English and Spanish. Very knowledgeable and very nice. I enjoyed learning about Toledo and wish to go back but for more time. Thank you for a very good experience!
Overall, we enjoyed this side trip from Madrid. The stop at a steel shop was totally unnecessary. Instead of a tour or providing info, they just wanted visitors to visit the shop and spend money. Gave me not a great feeling. However. Ricardo was a great in-town (in Toledo) guide. Thorough, charming, and helpful with directions. The church and tower were gorgeous and the small winding roads were fun to explore. And the views…… stunning!!!
The town is beautiful. But, the tour was terrible. The guide spoke very little English. He had a very heavy accent. The tour wasn’t great. They dump you in a sword shop.
I liked this excursion it was well organized . It was educational and a fun time. Just wish it was longer.
Toledo is a beautiful location. Our guide provided a very comprehensive tour. She demonstrated great consideration towards some of the participants who were less able than others
Tour guide was amazing!!! Very accomodating, explained all in two languages. Thank you and our bus driver was the kindest gentleman!!!0
It started out great! By the time we got to the walking tour, it went left. The tour guide was nowhere to be found. We did not know which bus to get on. No one was familiar from the original bus. The tour guide, did not inform us of a different bus or driver. The ride back was horrible! It was so hot. It was ridiculous! We all were so hot!
In general good trip in short time. But I must say stop at sword shop was wastage of 30 min which should have been used for guided tour through other parts of the city
Tamara was perfect, friendly and very well speaking bilingual (Spanish and English) guide. We enjoyed our excursion to Toledo very much. Highly recommend especially if you do not have a lot of time.
The bus trip was good. The visit to the sword shop at the beginning is unnecessary. I couldn't take the guided tour, and I explored on my own. I thought it would be difficult because it was my first time in Spain, but everything is very close and it is easy to get around in Toledo. When I met back up with the group, they looked dissatisfied with how little they visited. I did go into the churches. I enjoyed art, culture, and history on my own, and I took beautiful photographs.
Ms. Pilar, very clear, the historical review of Toledo was enjoyable, friendly, and cheerful. She gave ideas for typical Toledo food. Driver Mr. Ivan, very respectful in his driving, also very cheerful and friendly
Very pleasant, interesting information, clear instructions, no surprises.
Excellent guide, the historical facts of what we visited are clearly presented. Very good service. Clean and comfortable bus.
Thanks to Pilar and Pablo. Excellent.
Everything was very pleasant and I recommend it
I loved the tour experience in Madrid and Toledo, so far the trip has exceeded my expectations!
The staff was excellent, the guide was very clear and entertaining, and the bus was comfortable The trip was very pleasant It is suggested to include the guide's company on the Toledo tour; time is better utilized that way Thanks 👍
everything was good, I liked the visit to Toledo
Our guide Pilar and our driver Noelia were absolutely excellent :))
Toledo is a unique place for history, religions and architecture. Half a day is short to visit the rich local stock.
Good trip by good bus to Toledo, a great city worth visiting. Good guide and to have an unforgettable experience it is good to do despite the cold and the hikes
AWFUL!! We lost more than 1 hour in a shop that sold swords and jewelry, just to make customers shop! When I asked to be free from the group I was told that I had to wait until the end of the visit to the store. To gain lost time I had to give up the tour with the guide! Customers should be advised of these unscheduled
