The Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo is a Roman Catholic church and it is the seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Toledo. The Alcázar of Toledo is a stone fortification located in the highest part of Toledo, Spain. Once used as a Roman palace in the 3rd century, it was restored under Charles I (Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor) and his son Philip II of Spain in the 1540s. In 1521, Hernán Cortés was received by Charles I at the Alcázar, following Cortes' conquest of the Aztecs. Most of the alcázar was rebuilt, or restored, between 1939 and 1957 after the Siege of the Alcázar of the Spanish Civil War.

Excellent we had a good time good length enough to see everything
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour today - Ramiro our guide was friendly, knowledgable and funny. We had a blast. Toledo is beautiful, full of history and such and interesting place. Highly recommend taking a day out of your Madrid stay like we did to see it.
Great half day experience everything we needed
The Guide (Elias) didn't really tell us much about Toledo and he had an pretty sharp spanish accent, so you couldn't understand much.
Comfortable bus ride with Angie as our tour guide. Good directions and prompt pickup.
Rachel was amazing tourist guide very friendly, smiling all time and she explain very well Toledo city. Provide good suggestions for attractions. Definitely I will recommend this tour.
Very good experience, loved the city and the guide Angy explained everything happily!
Angy was a great guide, perfect amount of free time
Great experience with great guide
Our guide Angie ensured all participants had a great day out and was very knowledgeable about Toledo. Thank you
I liked the tour. We heard lots of interesting things. The summer is very hot, so I recommend to go in autumn or spring
An excellent cost effective way to visit Toledo and learn about its history. Our guide was Jose, he was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Toledo. We enjoyed walking around the old town and were happy with our choice to do the 9 hour option, allowing us plenty of time to have lunch and explore without rushing.
Covers a lot of ground to see 2 magnificent cities Toledo and Segovia. It’s an all day event be ready to walk and Listen up our guide Rachel was very knowledgeable and respectful. You do have have some free time too
Overall the experience was good. Toledo is beautiful. The bus was very comfortable. My only complaint is that I wear hearing aids so the headphones they used for the guided tour did t work well for me.
It was a great way to see two cities in one day
Well organized and good guides.
We had a wonderful day with Ramiro as our guide, as well as Alejandro. Ramiro was very knowledgeable about the city culture and history. It was very hot, but many places to stop and get a drink. We would highly recommend this tour.
We enjoyed our trip to Toledo with Romero and Tamara . It was obvious that they loved the city of Toledo and were proud to explain the history to us
Easy and fun all day trip. Can’t wait to be back
We were having trouble booking train tickets to Toledo, so we decided to go with a tour that gave us time to explore on our own. I'm glad we did; we had a great time. The bus on the way down was fine, not the best, but fine. The speakers were very crackly so it was hard to hear the information from the guide. We stopped at a sword/jewelry factory on our way in and had a few minutes to shop there after the short demonstrations. The prices were reasonable, about the same as the shops in the city, and they did have some jewelry designs I didn't see anywhere else. Then we went up the escalators and did the walking tour with Elias (I think that was his name). He led the English tour, and there was also a separate Spanish tour. He did a good job telling us about the city and making it entertaining. We've been to Toledo several times before on our own, but we learned some things from the tour. And then we had about four hours on our own to explore the city. You can't see everything in four hours, but you can see several historical sites and do some shopping, plus get something to eat, so we were happy. The bus on the way back was a double decker and better than the first one. More comfortable, the speakers worked fine, and it had good air conditioning, which was essential after all that walking in the heat!
Nice experience, enough guidance and free time. Raquel from Big Bus Tours was very good!
I was disappointed with the guide's behavior During the tolerdo tour. When distributing radio receivers, the guide TAMARA clearly skipped us ( Asian group) and handed them all the white first. We were given ours at the ends. It felt intentional and discriminatory rather than a simple mistake. Regardless of the tour content, the lack of professional ethics and respect was unacceptable.
Started on time. Bus trip was very comfortable. Guided tours available in both English and Spanish. Toledo and Segovia was awesome
Romero was excellent as to our guide. Great English and information. Somehow the wrong cell # was entered on spreadsheet. He spent 20 minutes on phone and working to get it fixed so I received the QR code for my Toledo complete to get it fixed Rachel was my final guide. Very friendly and professional. My cell was dying so she loaned me her chits so I could charge it on the bus.
Great tour to Toledo with the family. Daniel was a great guide.
1. The stop in Damasquinado souvenir shop took around 45 min-1 hour, which was too long and took up some of free time from us. Especially those who travel half day, they ended up having just 1 hour of free travel time. Luckily I joined full day, so I have more time to walk around. 2. For the bus ride from Madrid to Toledo, I sit on the upper deck of the double-decker bus, the guide doesn’t notice that the upper deck’s speakers are not turned. So for the whole ride we couldn’t hear anything from her. I ended up sleeping the whole ride. Luckily for the trip back to Madrid, the other guide Angie made sure the speakers were on, we could finally hear her talking about some fun stuff of Toledo. 3. For the city tour part, my guide was Rachel, she explained everything clearly and in detailed. I have learned a lot about Toledo today. Especially in the Cathedral of Toledo, if we didn’t joined the guided tour with her, we would have missed so much. It’s really worth it. 4. I also joined the package with 7 more sites. It is really fruitful. But I only had time to visit 5 of them. If the stop in souvenir shop was shorter, I should be able to finish all of them.
It has been a great experience for our family. Our tour guides Ramiro and Isabel are very friendly and knowledgeable. They guided us through the most iconic parts of the city. We had enough time to wonder around the city. The Toledo experience is the Best choice to take if you would like to explore on your own and at the same time see the most important places.
Great experience and the guides were fantastic and very helpful. Thank you Angie for all the help!
Big Bus tour Excellent organisation and pretty good instructions. Toledo is an amazing place to visit with something for everyone. Isabel tour guide really helpful especially with tips on where to go.
Great guided tour of Toledo with Angie and Daniel C. Their English was amazing, their knowledge of Toledo is very informative and they paused to take pictures of us in picturesque locations. Buses were very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend the day trip to Toledo!

The guide to Toledo, Eros needs to improve much, the behaviour and knowlege. The guides to Chatedral, Iasabel and the one on the way back to Madrid, Antonia were great!
Great trip from Madrid to Toledo. Nice bus took us from the city center to Toledo. It included a few scenic stops and then a walking tour of the historic town center. Was a great value and very informative. Alejandro and Raquel were great, offered a lot of history and were both very friendly. I would recommend this excursion out of Madrid.
Absolutely amazing, your guides very knowledgeable and charismatic, I truly enjoyed myself on a separate note Jesus y Miranda were very pleasant !!!
I think Toledo is an utterly fascinating, city with rich historical significance and was happy to get a lot of that from the tour guide. The exterior of the cathedral is stunning.! My visit was somewhat spoiled as the free time was too hard to fill after it started to rain so hard. Even with a good jacket, I was soaked and there was really no place to go other than the souvenir shops and restaurants, of which there are too many. I did arrange to come back with the earlier group, and was grateful for that. I think I would go back on my own, in tjf sundhine.
Ramiro was our guide and he was very good. I only wish we were with a smaller group of tourists. It was also good to have free time to visit different monuments on our own
Ramiro is an excellent guide who is joyful, knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed our trip to Toledo and would love to recommend to our friends.
The express tour was a lovely option, to get a gist of the history of Toledo. Our group leader Ramiro was lovely and made sure to give us ample information on the way to Toledo and n the way back. Our local guide David was hilarious and took us to see the real Toledo. 100% recommend.
Toledo is an amazing place! With a plenty of monuments: Tránsito sinagoga is very nice, house of Greco too, and guide Alejandro was so professional
Great way to spend a half-day trip to Toledo from Madrid. Sarah and Eros were great guides. Busy weekend as it was as the Nacional Festival
Angy was a great guide. This tour was incredible, we learned a Lot and saw manu beatiful things. I recomendo this tour to everyone
Miranda was anazing, but 1 remark the meeting point in the morning was not clear so plz update the meeting point , thnxxxx
It was a convenient way for us to see Toledo for an affordable price. We did a full day with Toledo Experience, which I recommend . You get to see a workshop where they make jewelry and swords, a quick walking tour and have good four hours of free time. There was English and Spanish commentary along the drive to Toledo and our guide Sarah was very good in both languages.
Ramiro was great. Very polite and kind. Toledo is beautiful! It's worth staying overnight at least one night, to really enjoy the city.
Our guide, Ramiro, was both entertaining and informative. He shared valuable insights about the history of Spain and the significance of Toledo within it. The short walking tour was interesting and well worth our time. We also had the chance to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Toledo. The commentary is provided in both Spanish and English, making it a great opportunity to improve your Spanish language skills.
It was a very good trip. Well worth it. Toledo is lovely, amd our guide, Ramiro was wonderful and knowledgeable. He told us about the Toledo history and culture.
Transportation was in time and cool after many hours of walking. Our guide Romero was friendly and knowledgeable. His English was excellent. We had a good amount of free time which I like
