That tour was advertised as English but our guide translated to English and French and while I appreciated that there French-speakers in our group, this tour was not as advertised. Our tour guide also gave us VERY little information during our ride to/from Toledo and while we were in Toledo, oftentimes only providing (minimal) information when asked.

It was canceled and no one told me. The agency offered me a tour in French which I don't speak when I showed up.
They canceled our tour late in the afternoon of the day before, and "Manuel said an insufficient number of other guests signed up". They said to book another day or take their all-ay tour of multiple cities. We had other bookings that afternoon and hate spending an entire day on a bus. Such a late cancellation caused many problems, and I would never book with this particular tour group again.
Fascinating medieval history in this town and well worth the trip to see one-of-a-kind sites and locations you almost cannot find anywhere else. Spain is simply beautiful and Toledo with its old world charm cannot be beat - a must see if you come to this portion of the country.
Angel is a very nice guide who showed us the best of Toledo. Thank you fro the tour !
Enjoyed our day in Toledo. Our guide Miguel was informative and friendly. Highly recommend this tour.
It was the worst tour I have taken in my numerous travels over the past few years. We had a one hour bus ride from Madrid and arrived for the tour at about 11:15. The guide walked us relentlessly for the next three hours over the cobblestone hills of Toledo with only two ten minute toilet breaks, one near the very end. She told us we would have free time at 2:30 until 4:30 when we would go back down to the bus parking area. The day was hot and the sun shone brightly. Participants were not free to get nourishment until just after 3:00 when we had to walk uphill a considerable distance to reach the square with cafes (eating spots were available along the way) and where we would meet as a group to return to Madrid. Further, in the US, the tour website claimed it was an English only tour. According to another participant, in France (where she is from), the website advertised the tour as French speaking only. Also, the tour was presented as “small”. We had about 15 people, which I and others did not consider small, and only four of us were English speakers. The tour guide began her explanations in French, then in an exasperated tone would summarize in English. She had a defensive posture about questions and disregarded indications that folks would like to stop for a light lunch. In truth, the tour should have included such a meal. Our hiking was arduous and dehydrating. Not everyone had water and about half the group were seniors. We certainly saw the highlights of Toledo and the guide was knowledgeable, although I would say her remarks were somewhat disjointed, not providing a flowing story about what we were seeing in the context of the history and growth changes of Toledo. I would not recommend this particular tour to anyone.
We had a wonderful family trip to Toledo. A big thank you to Lola, who looked after us all day with such warmth and energy. She made the drive enjoyable and shared fascinating stories about the city’s history and culture. We’re also very grateful to Carlos, our guide at the cathedral and El Greco Museum. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate, and answered all our questions with great patience and insight. Both Lola and Carlos went above and beyond, even helping us find a great lunch spot on a busy Saturday. We felt well taken care of the entire day and truly enjoyed every moment!
Great experience! Angel is a passionated and passionating tour guide!
The private tour Angel is very friendly and knowledgeable about Toledo
We had a great time seeing and learning about all the history in Toledo. Angel was very nice and knowledgeable. My whole family enjoyed it!
We arranged for a small group tour and this was not a small group tour. We had a large group though our Spain tour but wanted to experience Toledo with a small group and therefore paid for this experience. I think you can agree that 19 people is not a small group and certainly not what we should have paid extra for. I do want to comment that our guide was very good.
Saloman she did a wondeful tour of the cathedral and synogogue in Toledo very educational too, beautiful city.
Beautiful city, gorgeous view from the other side of the river from the bus. Guide was knowledgeable and considerate of the needs of the group.
Wonderful full day tour. A strong suggestion to the organizers: please give 20 minutes or so “free time” in the Cathedral!! Such an important structure and we felt very rushed, but ended up with lots of free time later in the day that could have been put to better use! Guide Marta was wonderful. Bus modern and had USB ports (that worked!). Group was about 16 people.
If the later tour at 1000 continues to include the stop at the ‘damasc’ place before (took almost one hour!) dont buy extra attractions “skip the line”. The tour guide will not take you to those and you will not have time to see all - so a bit of a waste. No clear path on where to find these attractions as well. A brochure/map with bracelet would be helpful.
Very difficult walking, older people would have a problem . No availability of public restrooms. Would be nice if the tour offered water on the bus.
We booked this tour the morning of because our original travel plans fell through. Miguel was great! Very knowledgeable. Nice simple tour, no hassles. The cathedral was maybe the most amazing cathedral we have ever been in! Appreciated having some free time to explore. Would recommend!
Miguel was a great leader.. the whole days activities were clearly explained . The highlight of day in Toledo cathedral was especially well done. A great day.. highly recommend.
I am a person that plans way ahead for such a big trip. When my biggest day trip is canceled the evening before, it’s very disappointing. The trip was canceled negate enough people didn’t sign up. That is no my fault and the trip should have gone on.
One of my favorite trips while in Madrid. Toledo is an amazing city with lots of history. Our guide Yolanda was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining from a local’s point of view.
Angel was informed, animated, funny and fully engaged in our education about the history and culture of Toledo. His knowledge of the cathedral and Jewish history in the city was stellar.
Beautiful quaint town with lots of history! Our guide, Andrea was amazing and so knowledgeable. Highly recommendable.
Great day trip, and guide was very good. Toledo was amazing. My teenage kids loved it. Definately recommend
The tour was amazing! Plenty of history mixed with taking in the sites and sounds of Toledo. Our guide, Marta, was knowledgeable, and the kids loved learning and talking to her.
We had a full day with Angel in a very nice van seeing Toledo. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend the day with
We were under the impression that it would be a small group and english tour guide. The small group was based on other small group tours with Viator that were 8 or less and when booking english the tour would only be english. The tour was actually 15 people and in both english and spanish. It made the tour less than enjoyable. The type of the tour being large and multi languages, we would have cancelled and booked a private tour.
Toledo is beautiful. The guide and driver found a spot to stop so we could get some photos of the whole city from a great vantage point before our drop off at the city, which was great. Our guide did a good job of showing us around and keeping us together. We had 14 in our group and I think that’s about right, as larger groups would be unmanageable. If you only have 5-6 hours available, this tour is a great choice. We had plenty of time for lunch on our own, but the tour itself felt rushed, so I’d recommend a longer tour if you have the time. Note that we did not get taken back to the starting point, but were left off in the parking garage near the palace. I explored there previously, so I knew the way back. But, if you don’t pay attention when walking from the tour company’s office to the underground parking for the bus at start of the tour, it could be uncomfortable being dropped off without being forewarned. Overall, I enjoyed the day and would recommend the tour.
Our tour guide Angel was awesome. He was very knowlegable, professional, and accomodating. It was a great tour. We enjoyed every minute of it.
Amazing tour & guide Angel was above amazing. I know your ran longer than Expected and he didn't care he didn't cut any corners at all.
Everything went smoothly, from the driver that picked me up at my hotel, to the guide that met us at the main gate in the city of Toledo. The guide was very personable, she had a great fantastic knowledge of the city and its history.
Developing an understanding of how the three religions co-existed there. The cathedral is a must see.
Had a great time with family and we gained a new friend, our tour guide, Luis! He showed us the sites, took us to a great place to eat and shop. We had such a great time that we stayed later than planned so we could see the city at night- spectacular view! And we got to experience the train back Madrid.
Congratulations to Fatima and Alvaro for their availability and expertise in illustrating the majesty of the monuments and the best places in Toledo. Super recommended
We were on Trip with Fatima from Madrid who told us about the first part of the excursion of the outer part of the city of Toledo. History and culture of the different civilizations that have existed over the centuries. The second part we spent with Elena in the synagogue and in the cathedral where art and history meet. We spent a beautiful sunny day in their company. We recommend the tour. Both speak good Italian and are super nice and friendly. Greetings 👋
Unique and unforgettable experience thanks to the wonderful guides Elena and Fatima who made us discover the wonders of Toledo.
Very chévere know all the history of each place, be able to visit museums, churches and learn about the customs and gastronomy of the place. Miguel was really funny
After the visit to Toledo with a very good 5-star guide, the nightmare begins to return to Madrid. At 15.50 we meet at the place of the appointment, set for 16.30. Unfortunately, several buses passed by, unloading and loading people, but nobody looked for us. At 16:45 we try to call Naturanda but the number was busy. Luckily for us a bus stopped with an English-speaking guide, we ask for help and he says: I'll take you to Madrid! By bus he made the roll call but our names were not on the list. Our doubt: was that in our bus? Did the guide bring us up out of compassion? If an accident happened, we wouldn't even figure being on that bus! Bad Service!!
Miguel our guide, gave us punctual and agile information of the historic center of Toledo that allowed to have free time to enjoy a little more the tour The only thing to improve is that the earphones failed and a replacement could not be found.
A stunning place that from the hand of the guide Angel was easier to understand so much information, syncretism blew our minds!
The places were very nice and blew our heads off. History and hidden details were the best. Toledo's Primate Cathedral, the intact Synagogue, were incredible and magical visits
It was a special trip but a lot there are beautiful things to visit and behind everything there is its history I loved this place
Good organization, very good guide who showed us the local Toledo, not an ordinary tourist circuit, too bad we were not taken to the damascene tour as indicated in the description. We would have enjoyed discovering this craft.
Excellent & very professional guides. The buses very comfortable. The attractions visited were amazing
This tour was on October 17, 2022. It was an exceptional experience. Both Tamara, chauffeur, and Luis, guide, were very punctual, friendly, knowledgeable of the area and very accommodating and flexible regarding any desire of ours. It was our first impression of Spain, as it was our first time. And it was a very special thanks to them.
