Maria did a good job explaining the history of everything we saw in both places. Although at times it felt rushed and felt like we were not given enough time though it makes sense for wanting to do both places in one day.

Itinerary
The cathedral of Toledo is one of the three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain and is considered, in the opinion of some authorities, to be the magnum opus of the Gothic style in Spain. It was begun in 1226 under the rule of Ferdinand III and the last Gothic contributions were made in the 15th century when, in 1493, the vaults of the central nave were finished during the time of the Catholic Monarchs. It was modeled after the Bourges Cathedral, although its five naves plan is a consequence of the constructors' intention to cover all of the sacred space of the former city mosque with the cathedral, and of the former sahn with the cloister. It also combines some characteristics of the Mudéjar style, mainly in the cloister, with the presence of multifoiled arches in the triforium. The spectacular incorporation of light and the structural achievements of the ambulatory vaults are some of its more remarkable aspects. It is built with white limestone from the quarries of Olihuelas, near Toledo.
Segovia Cathedral is the Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral located in the main square of the city of Segovia, in the community of Castile-Leon, Spain. The church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, was built in a Gothic style in the mid-16th century.
The Alcázar of Segovia is a medieval alcázar located in the city of Segovia, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Rising out on a rocky crag above the confluence of two rivers near the Guadarrama mountains, it is one of the most distinctive castle-palaces in Spain by virtue of its shape – like the bow of a ship
The Sierra de Guadarrama is a mountain range forming the main eastern section of the Sistema Central, the system of mountain ranges along the centre of the Iberian Peninsula. It is located between the systems Sierra de Gredos in the province of Ávila, and Sierra de Ayllón in the province of Guadalajara
This Mudéjar construction was built in 1180. It has five naves separated by pillars supporting horseshoe arches. In the 15th century it was converted into a church, although today it is simply a monument which is open to visitors. It has a coffered wooden ceiling, Plateresque altars and an altarpiece by the school of Berruguete.
The parish church must have been founded after the Christian Reconquista of the city by Alfonso VI in 1085, as the first news that we have of its existence is from 1142. From the first Mudejar building, it has kept the large multifoil arch superimposed upon the main arch that separates the main nave from the presbytery together with the sturdy buttresses of this part of the nave and a small trefoil arch on a brick frieze arranged in Mudejar style that survives in the high part in what used to be the semicircular sanctuary of the original single nave church.
This monastery was founded by King Ferdinand II of Aragon and Queen Isabella I of Castile to commemorate both the birth of their son, Prince John, and their victory at the Battle of Toro (1476) over the army of Afonso V of Portugal. Toledo was chosen as the site for building the monastery due to its central geographic location and because it had been the capital of the ancient Visigoth kingdom, symbolically reconstituted by Isabella and Ferdinand with the restoration of the lost unity of Spain, through the union of Castile with Aragon.

Maria was amazing. Professional informative, and funny.
A fun way to travel to Segovia & Avila. Don’t miss out on this experience. Maria & Carlos were magnificent!!
We had Maria she was so informative and an amazing guide! She taught us so much and made the experience much more meaningful!
I think he did exactly what he promised. I would have liked to actually go into more buildings and hear a little more history. Overall I believe he did well, we enjoyed ourselves and would do something similar again.
Wonderful Beatriz Rafa Laura and the driver Luis Miguel did a great job we all made this tour a very very special experience the best !!!!
It was very nice tour. She took us all the hidden areas, explained well, took her time to show us around. It was well planned and we enjoyed everything we saw and learned.
The tour was cancelled the day before and after the payment had been taken We accepted the toledo tour as a alternative but are very disappointed with the cancellation of the tour we wanted. I will look elsewhere for tours in future.
It was a wonderful experience, everything went as described. It was good value for money. Lovwd evwry minute.
We were switched to a different tour (Toledo only) because we were told there weren't enough people signed up for the Toledo and Segovia tour (we did also have a choice to switch to Toledo and Avilla). The last minute change was disappointing. However, we really enjoyed our Toledo tour. Our guide, Arancha, was terrific.
Booked this trip only to be emailed the day before to say they no longer run this trip, we only got to see Toledo, the tour guide said they wouldn’t charge us more and seeing one is much better than 3 places. Terrible experience
Brilliant day. Rafael our guide was a perfect host both knowledgeable and entertaining. He set a leisurely pace making for a pleasant easy walk. Each location was given enough time to soak in the history and culture. I would highly recommend this tour.
The tour itself was amazing but these guys are scamming you. What they’ll do is contact you the day before to tell you they can’t take you to all the sites but guess what, for no money back you get to choose one or the other. Although the tour was amazing these guys are misrepresenting. Save your money And Book a tour operator who is being honest. They guys can’t deliver on their promises.
Guide Oscar’s approach and commitment to the tour content. Liked how it was organized. Would recommend to visit to get the history
Our tour guide Arantxa was knowledgeable, patient and very engaged with our group . So impressed with her professionality.
Sorry. If I have to jump through your hoops, forget it. And you have the audacity to ask for more?? I am not your puppet. You are very arrogant to be deciding what I should write.
The tour was fabulous although it wasn't what we originally booked. Tripadvisor contacted us before our trip to let us know that because of COVID-19 restrictions we could either see Toledo or Segovia and Avila. My group and I chose to see Toledo and were delighted by our guide, Arancha's (pardon if I spelled her name wrong!), knowledge and passion for the city's history. She was funny and energetic and knew facts down to the minute detail. We only wish that we had a bit more time in Toledo to explore on our own but ultimately it was a fantastic experience. Also shout out to Manuel, our driver, who navigated a huge bus through narrow streets and got us every safely and comfortably.
Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the art & history she shared. One suggestion; take a pause between explanations when changing languages to signal to us to ‘tune in’ as we often tuned out and then didn’t catch the English translation. The cathedral is a MUST see as it was truly AMAZING. Our tour was changed so we only went to Toledo but that was the best choice I think-If you have to choose.
We booked the Toledo & Segovia tour, but the company contacted us two days before as they wouldn't go to Toledo because of closings at the town (that was the reason given) and they offered to move us to the Avila & Segovia tour for the same day (we didn't have availability for any other day). The tour guide was Cristina and she offered it both in English and Spanish; very knowledgeable and patient (the group was about 20 persons). We strolled by both towns with her and had access to the Alcazar of Segovia with a nice explanation of what we were seeing. I do recommend this company for their tours.
Tour pickup point is not identifiable. Name is not shown on voucher, making it hard to find pickup point. Tour guide not explaining enough the scene saw by tourists. Not enough toilet stops.
I enjoyed both Toledo and Segovia. It was a long day which I had expected. However, I felt a bit rushed @ both locations. Our tour guide in Toledo was good however since we had the Segovia piece in the afternoon it was rushed. Did not have time to really enjoy the town, shops, cathedral, & restaurants. Segovia was a great location and again felt a bit rushed to get everything covered in a few hours. Nice shops however most were closed during the afternoon we were there due to Siesta. Also, a tapa and drink were in included in the Segovia tour and I would skip that part since we did not get to select the tapa and/or drink we wanted. The tapa was not good and the wine was fair. I would highly recommend going to both locations but spending a full day in each if you have time to really enjoy the towns and not just get a fast paced tour. I did not care for the tour guide in Segovia (different one than Toledo) - I think he was a bit stressed because he was basically in charge of 2 tour groups. His instructions for where to meet were very vague thus we were not exactly sure where we were to meet him. He was a bit short with an elderly couple that ran a bit late because the instructions were not clear.
Trying to be positive, Toledo and Segovia are "must visit locations", but the day trip we did to see them was mostly spend in the bus. If time allows, do two separate day trips. Otherwise you see nothing as time just did not allow
Our guide at Segovia had to struggle to talk/explain in English. The guides should be fluent in the language to be able to communicate well.
great trip to Toledo and Segovia with Fun and Tickets, the guide got a 10 and although we left Toledo a little late because there was a passenger missing, we arrived with enough time to see the beautiful city of Segovia with its impressive aqueduct of the Romans, its cathedral and the Alcazar as if it were a disney castle. Many thanks to the guide for teaching us so many things and history.
Traveling alone to Spain, I wanted to make sure that I was on English speaking guided tours. I had booked this tour based on the inclusions listed in the description, requesting an English speaking guide for both Toledo and Segovia. I am 0% satisfied! On the bus ride to Toledo, we had a tour guide that was speaking in both Spanish and English. There were people on the bus that were doing a half day tour and others going to different places from Toledo, which was confusing. Upon arrival in Toledo, I was introduced to who I thought would be my guide, David. David did speak English, but informed me that I would be on my own in Toledo and to my surprise, he asked me if I had a map. No one had ever given me a map, so he instructed me to go up the escalators and obtain a map in the information center. He informed me that I was to meet back at the drop off point at 12:45, giving me approximately 90 minutes to find my way through the city on my own. He then left with another guest, leaving me to find my way through the city alone. I was confused, thinking that others had more time before having to leave and that was why I was sent on my own. I spent the 90min trying to maneuver the town wandering aimlessly through the streets. I learned nothing and saw none of the expected sites listed in the overview, spending endless time lost on the many small winding streets feeling like I was in a maze. I was extremely disappointed and quite frankly, scared. Upon making my way back to the drop off point, I managed to connect with the bus driver to Segovia. He only spoke Spanish and there was no guide accompanying him. I was all alone with the driver on the 2+ hour drive to Segovia with no information provided along the way. During the ride I called the Trapsatur office to confirm that I would have an English speaking guide when we reached Segovia. I was told that Javier would be meeting me there and would be my guide. Javier took me to a tavern, dropped me off for the included tapa, then instructed me that I was on my “free time” once again on my own for 55 minutes to wander the streets of Segovia alone!! He instructed me to meet him at the castle gates for the tour of the Alcázar castle. The only thing that was promised in the description besides the 1.50 Euro Tapa. I was instructed to email Trapsatur about the situation, but have not heard back from them. The description of this tour is not what you will get.Do not book this or any other tour with Trapsatur!
First of all, they canceled the trip I wanted to take. Afterward, they offered to change it for other places. Finally, we went to Segovia and Ávila. Everything else was very good. Sadly, we did not see Toledo. A shame.
Veoma lepa tura sa obilaskom Toleda i Segovije. Sve pohvale za vodiča Načoa koji je bio pun informacija o svim destinacijama i vozača Serhia koji nas je udobno prevozio svuda!
The guide spent much of the journey mentioning that the route was inadequate for the time, which affected our perception of the ride. The included tap was pan con tortilla (which includes onion) and half a glass of hot red wine. The visit to Alkazar was not guided, and was not so interesting.
The tour itself is very good, it is possible to make a panoramic tour of the two cities with observation (without entering) of the main points. The guide left to wish... without much charisma and even rough sometimes with the group... we had access to little information, always seeming in a hurry.
Good, but I bought Toledo and Segovia and I was told the night before I needed to change Segovia was very rich in history and information, great guide, the only thing was forcing lunch in partner restaurant. Already avila, which I did for not having the option I paid was only back in town, we did not climb the wall To get back in town would do it alone
There was a delay on the part of the tour operator of almost half an hour, so the passage through Toledo was too fast. They took us to a “surprise” sword factory and for me it was a waste of time, I would have preferred to enter the Cathedral. In Segovia there was more time but also everything was rushing, there was no time to enter the Cathedral either.
I would like to know because in the specification of this tour it is stated that it is a tour of 2 days. was a typing error only or I understood wrong.EXCURSE TOLEDO X FOLLOWS with ENTRY TO THE ALCÁZER, SAINDO DE MADRI. THE TOUR IS 1 DAY OR 2 FINAL? THANK YOU
Comprei pra ir em três lugares e só fomos em Toledo. Tem ressarcimento de valores? Pois pagamos muito caro por um passeio para Toledo. Que custa pela mesma agência 25 euros. Não recomendo comprar com a Viator. Propaganda enganosa.
I was very interested in doing the excursion as I am passionate about history and art, and I certainly wasn't disappointed, the Service was very good and the guide was very friendly and you could tell I was steeped in the history of both cities.
We had a great day getting to know Toledo and Segovia. The guide Javier was super professional and very friendly. Highly recommended tour, also to go with children as it is quite enjoyable
An unforgettable walk!!! My husband and I went to Toledo that captivates with its history and architecture. Then we were taken to Segovia in a very comfortable bus. Segovia is shocking and the alcazar is very well preserved. Our guide Jorge was very attentive and answered all the questions very kindly. Jorge has a very in-depth and detailed knowledge of the entire history of the places visited. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!!!
How beautiful it is to leave my land and see the generosity with which we treat Catalans in the rest of Spain, what beautiful cities, we were able to do the tour and we liked so much that the next day the fun and tickets guys got us tickets for the puy de fou show. In the city of Segovia please do not miss the cathedral, this tour does not have the entrance included but talk to the guide and pay for it, because during the guided tour you pass through it it is worth knowing everything that was given in this cathedral over the centuries. For the rest Rafael was our guide, excellent and the bus was new with wifi.
Let’s say that for me that I am young I was able to do it without problems in the times I had. Without them, they're gonna need more time than they gave us. The food we were given very small, would have preferred water but with a bigger plate. The rest is fine.
Fantastic tour to see two fantastic cities in no time. I went with friends from outside Spain who were only 2 days in Madrid and in this way they could know these 2 wonderful cities. Agile and friendly guides as well as being aware of the needs of the group at any time.
The truth is that everything was fine, nice and friendly guides who also had patience with the little ones and gradually earned them. Recommended to go with family.
Very enjoyed the food not the first time with them, work professionally, if go tours then only with Fun end Tickets. Thank you!!!!
The first part of the tour in Toledo very nice, but when we arrived in Segovia after 2 hours, a supposed guide came to find us, took us to the trots to a restaurant and told us at 4 we met in the alcazar, without any explanation or map or anything. I do not recommend taking this tour.
