We arrived early and stood in line for our 2:30 entry. Finally arrived at the front of the line at 2:37 only to be told we were early- our reservation was at 4:15. Our ticket clearly state 2:30 as did our confirmation email from TripAdvisor but the QR code was scanning 4:15 and they refused to let us in. The staff was not helpful but we were insistent showing them all of our documentation from TripAdvisor. They made us wait in the line for the non-repurchased tickets, defeating the purpose of buying them on-line ahead of time. All in all we were inconvenienced and it took almost one hour longer to get in than our ticket time. Seemed to have been a TripAdvisor error. We were jet lagged having just arrived in Madrid and this was not a pleasant experience to welcome us to the city.

Make sure the Palace is open the date for whicho you bought the ticket. It was disappinting to arribe st the balance with our tickets ready for the visit and find the Palace closed. On the other hand it was very proffessional for Viator to refund us the value of the tickets
Unfortunately, a QR code did not open in my computer. There was a bar code, however, that I was told wasn't a ticket, so I had to go to "general admission" and purchase a ticket. Though the Palace was quite wonderful, the exasperation of having been charged for a ticket and audio guide on-line and not getting it plus the embarrassment of being told I had to go stand in line at the general admission window and spend more money made the experience fretful. I believe I'm entitled to a refund.
Tour was great but ticket delivery not good. You have to download the app and go into the contact tour operator to get the qr code 🤦♀️
We bought tickets from Tripadvisor for the Madrid Royal Palace when we showed our tickets we was told they do not accept them from Tripadvisor. On the day I tried to get in with Tripadvisor on the day via email and phone but with no luck. Because we were looking forward to the visit we had to purchase 2 tickets from the palace. I have since tried getting in touch with Tripadvisor but no response from them. I would strongly advise be careful what you purchase as you may end up paying twice. Very disappointed with Tripadvisor.
Easily found entrance and enjoyed our visit. A must see. Absolutely breathtaking.
The palace was absolutely worth seeing, but also very crowded. I specifically booked this ticket, which was more expensive than others, so that I could see all the rooms (kitchen, etc.), but I did not get to go there. I asked twice (at the ticket office and the supervisor), and I was told that was all there was. That is why I am somewhat disappointed.
a very good experience!!! I suggest you visit.
A pleasant visit in a fully decorated and very well maintained palace. Scheduling your visit saves time on your stay.
