At your arrival, you will be getting a bicycle, a map and all the instructions to tour through the Great Retiro park. You can also download the map into your cellphone with all the information and history about the park. You will have 2 hours (flexible) to do the tour (enough time to cover all spots, take pictures and relax)
This could not have been easier! The bike shop is very close to the park and the staff are super friendly and helpful! The bikes were great, comfortable and well maintained. We had a wonderful two hours bicycling around the park and enjoying ourselves on our last morning in Madrid! Enjoy.

A really fun experience biking through El Retiro Park. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a different kind of activity in Madrid. But it should be done as an activity on it’s own, definitely not if you want to properly see all the attractions as you have to worry about leaving the bike alone as there are some spaces that have stairs or very narrow paths with people walking. We weren’t given a bike lock. Our ebikes also didn’t have a basket so we had to carry our backpacks on our backs, which wasn’t ideal. But overall a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.
Bikes were in good condition and the Childrens bikes were sized smaller. They supplied good helmets as well. The staff seemed very distracted. One of them was on his smart phone the entire time as we were going through the process of trying out the bikes and getting our helmets and would often require a lot of prompting to move the process forward as we were getting ready to go on our bikes. This is a really great way to tour El Retiro Park. It is way too big to walk around. The tour makes it seem like they will give you some kind of guidance or map or suggestions on where to go, but no such guidance was given. Return was easy and laid back. Overall recommend!
Great way to see Retiro park when your legs are tired. It took us 1.5 hours to tour the park. We checked out all the pretty blooming plants. Bikes were in good condition and easy to ride.
The bike ride though the park was one of our favorite experiences while we were in Madrid. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and sunny and I would highly recommend going on a Monday or Tuesday because it is much less crowded!

Rent & Roll was fantastic - our bikes were ready to go when we got there - and the whole process, including the return, was easy. We enjoyed biking through The Retiro Park as a self guided tour. We were able to see a lot more because we used the bikes - the park is huge and we felt we got a great impression of it within a reasonable timeframe because of the bikes. Very informative and genuine narrative by. Spanish tour guide would recommend. Hire pedal bikes which were more than sufficient.
We rented bikes for a self guided tour and it was great! They briefly explained the bikes, the park, highlights to see, and made sure we understood where bikes were not allowed. Great experience!
Rented for two hours but could have easily spent all afternoon exploring Retiro park. The guys at the shop were very helpful setting up our bikes and explaining a route to ride. Would definitely recommend.

We didn’t book any bikes beforehand, however they kindly assisted in allocating us two e-bikes and two e-scooters. We tried out both bicycles before we left, however only discovered that one of the e-bikes weren’t working when we were far into the park. We booked the cycles for two hours and paid 15 euros for each e-scooter and 12 euros for one e-bike. They kindly offered that we don’t pay for the faulty e-bike. It would have been better had the e-bicycle worked, however given that they offered that we don’t pay, I can’t fault their service. Tip Before you depart, check the e-bikes to ensure that the motor works. Our e-bike’s battery was fully charged but the motor wasn’t working.
The Retiro Park is an excellent stop. There is so much ground to cover, using bikes was a great option for us. The self guided part was a bit challenging, so some may want something more structured to be able to see all that the park has to offer. That would be personal preference.
The guys were Quick efficient and helpful, and we enjoyed the park which is huge. Well worth the time to explore this area of Madrid
Very easy, hassle free bike rentals for 2 hours. Very nearby The Retiro park. We cycled around at our own tempo. Very good value for 7euros
This is the ONLY way to get around the park - with an e-bike We hired ebikes to make it super easy for ourselves. We had booked the self guided tour but don’t let the term mislead you. It’s not a tour , It’s literally just riding around a park for two hours. It’s not a guide at all. They just give you a map. It is the perfect way to see the park and drink in everything at your own pace. Stop and have a picnic anywhere you like. Go to a cafe and just thoroughly enjoy being there and drink in surroundings. We found two hours was enough for us and we even stopped at a cafe to grab something to eat and listen to some music watching the boats on the water

We only had a short time to ride through Retiro Park. We considered the city bikes and scooters but we decided to rent from Rent and Roll across the street from the park. Really nice bikes and the guys there were very helpful. Straps for the racks, lock and key. I though the rates were very fair. And, as expected, what a great way to visit this lovely park!!
Renting a bike to tour the park seemed like a good idea. The reasoning was we could see more in less time. We rented the non-electric bikes. That was the problem. They were extremely heavy. My hand break required massive pressure to slow down. There won’t be a next time but if we ever visit the park again it would be electric bikes for sure. However, the first choice would be the pedal bike taxi. It would be more expensive but less work.
The service was amazing! Imi had to rearrange my your date since the park was closed, and they responded to me quickly and the whole trip was effortless. The bikes are super nice and they’ll provide a side bag as well. The park is BEAUTIFUL!

What an amazing day. The Ride and Roll guys were incredibly helpful, kind, and very friendly the Parque de Restiro is crazy large and I know we wouldn’t have seen it all without the bikes. We were given water, baskets for our things, a bike lock, and helmets (if we wanted them). The blog map kept us on track and we were able to see everything which was great in the heat. The trails are mainly in the shade and the park is absolutely breath taking. Many families packed lunches so I recommend that if you have little ones. We were about to lock the bikes and go into the buildings. The only downside was the park has some drainage trenches that can become really hard to navigate and so if a non seasoned rider be careful. I would also say plan on buying extra bike time because we took 3 hours and that was plus one on our rent but we couldn’t easily stayed another 3! Highly recommend this activity but make a day of it!

Park was beautiful and they did a really good job with highlighting areas. Some of the roads look like they go one way but go another so just be mindful, but its definitely worth it. Getting set up with bike was really simple quick process, I finished everything within the 2 hours but I feel like an add-on option for more hours would be great for people like me who want to meander a bit. Overall I definitely recommend!
Perfect for traversing the park even on extremely hot days. The bike pickup is less than a block from one of the entrance gates, making it very easy. I went with my family, with children aged 12 and 9, and we enjoyed it a lot. Walking would have been impossible. The bicycles were in perfect condition, and we received very friendly service; it was a delightful experience.
Being the De El Buen Retiro Park very extensive, the best way to visit it is by bike!!! Beautiful experience
Avoid the weekend because there are many people. Otherwise, it is very nice to circulate in the different places of the park which is quite large.

Friendly and clear staff, timely delivery, clear contract. The only small drawback the bikes are not brand new and a little heavy. But absolutely Service to recommend if you are near the parque retiro.
