Segway Tour Madrid Monumental

Muchas Gracias! We had the absolute best time today on our tour. Two of us had taken Segway’s before , two had not. The training and initial run was patient, well explained and really boosted everyone’s confidence in the trip. Our guides were knowledgeable and so very pleasant to spend time with. Highly recommend this company and trip.

Paula was an amazing guide! She was very informative and was a great teacher of how to use the Segway.

Such an interesting way to see the highlights of the city. It was the most fun I’ve had on two wheels in a long time. Carl, the guide, was an absolute star! For one so young, he possesses high EQ and was patient and skilled at quelling the nerves of a first time segway user. He was thoughtful, conscientious and earnest, making sure to check-in on us at every tricky junction and crossing. We felt assured, our confidence grew as the tour progressed and we had an amazing time!

Our guide was patient and made everyone feel comfortable. One member of our group opted to ride a bike instead of the Segway and he was super accommodating. There wasn’t a ton of commentary or info from the guide but we had an enjoyable time riding around to see things.

Juan gave us a great experience- explaining all the different things to see in Madrid- knowledgeable, fun, don’t hesitate to do this!

Having a great guide (in my case, Hector) helps. There were 10 people total and I was the only "experienced" rider (1x before). I had to wait ~45 minutes as Hector trained everyone else. I wish there was more than 1 employee there to speed up that part of the tour. Once we started, Hector was amazing, using his great knowledge to share Madrid with us (in English and Spanish!). The segways are fun and you will learn a great deal about Madrid, Gracias!!

It was scary at first, but easy to learn. Just not long enough. Very good. Staff was knowledgeable and Informative. Enjoyed the route.

Good fun. Well organised. Jesus was a very personable guide. The tour takes in most of the main monuments of Madrid so if that’s what you want to see then this is a good option.

Our “monumental” tour with Segway Madrid was great. Jesus and his colleague provided excellent instruction for us as first-time Segway users, and Jesus was a knowledgeable tour guide with great command of the English language to bring to life all the things we saw. Our 12-year-old twins were entertained and learned a lot. The tour was trickier due to the Semana Santa crowds in Madrid, but Jesus kept us safe in pedestrian and car areas. We enjoyed the tour so much that we actually booked the Retiro tour two days and enjoyed that one even more! Highly recommend this company.

This was a great way to become oriented with the city and see the main highlights. We loved zipping through the city and our 14 and 12 year old boys loved being on Segways. The tour guide provided great information and answered our questions. We had time to stop and view the Temple and Plaza Mayor.

Jose was very patient with our lack of experience using Segway. He was a very good instructor. He boosted our confidence so much that we became very comfortable with the machine in a few minutes. He is very informative about the places we stopped at. As a result, we gained good understanding the history of Spain. It was fun and informative!

José was a great guide, the overall experience was very good and the Segway was a bit scary at the start but easy after a few minutes. It was a lot of fun great way to start our trip in Madrid

We did this tour as an enjoyable way to get our bearings in Madrid, and it didn’t disappoint. We learned about the history of Madrid through the monuments and parks in a very accessible way, as well as winding our way through some of the narrow streets in and around the centre. Our guide Jose was excellent, making sure we felt comfortable on the segways, and patiently answering our questions (and taking the obligatory photos). Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I did this Segway tour with our guide David, who was great! He was very kind and friendly and very knowledgeable, we loved learning all about the history and significance all of the places that we visited. He took a view pics of us and gave me plenty of time to take pics of all the sights we saw, I never felt rushed at any point and he even recommended places to eat which we really appreciated! This is our third time riding segways so we were pretty confident but regardless David was very helpful, making sure it was always very safe for us especially on the roads, always looking out for us and adapting the tour according to traffic and how busy plaza mayor was! This is a great way to tour the city and I would definitely recommend!

Guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. He was very patient with me given I had some issues with segway.

We loved this experience! The operators are patient and do a great job teaching how to use the segways safely. My daughter wasn't feeling well during the tour and the guide was so kind! He made sure she was ok and just went the extra mile to make it a lovely experience. This tour and company are awesome.

Was a nice way to travel in the hot Madrid summer but wish it was a longer visit to see additional sites.

José and Yann were brilliant tour guides, who put as at ease and explained so well that we got the hang of it in no time, although I have never done it before. They showed us such interesting places along the way. This is also the best way to see the Park, as it would have taken hours if we tried to walk it. Unforgettable experience, highlight of the holiday!

Lovely tour with David, very knowledgeable. Made sure we felt confident on the Segway even on the roads. Didn't feel rushed and we had photo stops, great way to see the city without all the walking!

Excellent introduction to monumental Madrid. Having been to Madrid before and having used a Segway before this was a brilliant way to find out a bit more about the city on the coolest mode of transport invented. It’s also physically much cooler than walking as you get a natural breeze! We took the 10am tour on a Sunday which meant it wasn’t too hot and the streets were very quiet. We also went up to Montaña de Príncipe Pío for a great view of the city without having to brave the climb in the heat LOL. Overall a fantastic start to our short stay in Madrid.

Big thank you to Jose and the team at Segway Tour Madrid, was an amazing experience going through the town and learning all the importance and history behind a lot of Madrids artefacts! Jose was an incredible tour guide and really gave us the opportunity to enjoy the tour as well as his company with plenty of laughs and fun moments. Would highly recommend these guys as a fun and informative way to see Madrid!

We called the day before to reserve a time for the three of us. They were helpful and very patient while we while we practiced for a few minutes. While on our tour, we saw two other Segway groups. One group had the smaller cheap Segways. They might be ok on very smooth roads, but with the bumpy roads here in Madrid, I’m glad we had the bigger Segways. The other group we saw, had the off-road versions. They were taller - which would make it harder to get on & off. They had big tires that would work well if you were going to be traveling in forests & fields - not necessary for streets of Madrid. We loved the tour and would highly recommend. David and Jose were friendly & fun!

We had a great time and saw more sights than we would have on our own. Jose was our guide and was fun and informative. He was very patient with us!

José was our guide. He was absolutely fantastic. Our experience was top notch. It was clear that he appreciated the fact that we were enjoying his historical commentary at each stop. I’m pretty sure that’s why our two hour tour ended up lasting almost 3 hours. You could tell that he was passionate about his city and their heritage. I can’t recommend this company any higher. We had an absolutely fantastic experience. They were extremely responsive over email when we were booking it, and accommodating a couple days before when we requested a time change for the tour. Great people. If they’re able to accommodate special requests, they clearly will. This was a fantastic way to see the city of Madrid. I would definitely recommend doing it early in your stay in Madrid so that you get a good feel for the city.

A really fun experience . It was great to do something different and made seeing the major monuments in Madrid easy, fun and memorable. Jose was a great guide who provided a lot of historical context in an entertaining way with interesting anecdotes about historical figures.

We really enjoyed the Segway Tour. Diego was an excellent guide, we visited a lot of central Madrid, he gave us some great background information and history, and the Segways themselves were great fun. Good value for money

Recently went on this Segway tour with my 13 year old son. Whereas my son had been on a Segway before, I had never been, and was very nervous!! Our guide Luismi was very good and clear with his instructions of use and safety, and EXTREMELY patient with me(!), but I just could not get the hang of it, more to do with my own confidence really, I am not the adventurous type!!! So in the end I was more comfortable for Luismi to hold my Segway aswell as his own, and he guided me around the tour like that! He said he didn't mind and was very supportive and encouraging! (he probably went for a strong coffee after our tour!!) He showed us some very nice monuments and was very knowledgeable about Madrid. I would highly recommend this company, a great way to spend an hour and a half of your day. If you are a novice, hopefully you will get the hang of it better than me!!! If not, they are very patient and encouraging! My son loved every minute of it. Thank you Luismi, and sorry for being extra hard work for you!!

Fist of all it is my first experience in segway. I like this kind of transport,it is fun .I knew the city of madrid in a particular method . The monitor Luismi is a breathtaking person . He taught me really good . I learned so fast . Firstly a little bit complicated but with time i adapt good . This is a such interesting experience

This is my first time in this type of transport and the experience was amaizing. id like to repeat again and time goes faster. the guide is so pleasant and with his information about the city i know more cultural information about the city. Awesome 1 hour 30 min Segway tour, Victor was great and good training session before we started...totally recommend these guys if you have an hour or so you need to fill in.

A really great and fun way of seeing Madrid. We were trained up on using the segway first but it is not difficult and quite intuitive. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

We loved the experience. Riding Segway was super fun. The tour included all the most beautiful corners of Madrid. Our guide Jose was very friendly and explained a lot of things to us in a totally enjoyable way. I highly recommend it.

All great! And it is worth noting the great service that Paula, Jesus and Jose have given us. We did the monumental tour my girlfriend and I and we loved it. In September we return to Madrid with friends and repeat for sure. Better than walking hehe thank you jesus
