Itinerary
Segovia Aqueduct, a world UNESCO world heritage site. t is one of the best-preserved elevated Roman aqueducts and the foremost symbol of Segovia, as evidenced by its presence on the city's coat of arms.
The Alcázar of Segovia is a medieval alcázar located in the city of Segovia, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Rising out on a rocky crag above the confluence of two rivers near the Guadarrama mountains, it is one of the most distinctive castle-palaces in Spain by virtue of its shape – like the bow of a ship. The Alcázar was originally built as a fortress but has served as a royal palace, a state prison, a Royal Artillery College and a military academy since then. It is currently used as a museum and a military archives building.
Best viewpoint where you can see the full city of Toledo.
The Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo is a Roman Catholic church and it is the seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Toledo. The cathedral of Toledo is one of the three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain and is considered, in the opinion of some authorities, to be the magnum opus of the Gothic style in Spain.
The Alcázar of Toledo is a stone fortification located in the highest part of Toledo, Spain. Once used as a Roman palace in the 3rd century, it was restored under Charles I (Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor) and his son Philip II of Spain in the 1540s. In 1521, Hernán Cortés was received by Charles I at the Alcázar, following Cortes' conquest of the Aztecs. Most of the alcázar was rebuilt, or restored, between 1939 and 1957 after the Siege of the Alcázar of the Spanish Civil War.

We booked the tour thinking it was Viator, as we had heard lots of good things about Viator. Instead, Viator subcontracted to another company. The bus was hot on the 12 hr trip. The guides were excellent though. We could have done GetYourGuide company for much cheaper, but pd more for Viator. Disappointing!!
This tour is a long day but it is worth the effort to travel to these two historic towns. Our guide Rito was very good.
Overall a great tour and saved us the pain of trying to navigate both cities on our own. Angie was a great guide!
It was very hard to find the meeting spot, luckily we had a lot of time to look for it. A sign on the side walk would be so helpful. When we had an English only guide it was great but most of the time it was one guide doing both English and Spanish, Angy, who was very good trying to speak 2 languages at once. They could skip the sales stop and give that time to Segovia which was very short.
Beautiful places to go visit and covered a lot of fun facts. Rachel was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable but seemed to explain in more details in her Spanish explanation than an English explanation! Overall we would recommend this day trip!
Ramiro is absolutely one of the best guides I have had, and I have traveled quite a bit. He was super knowledgeable, personable, and charismatic. We could see his passion when he talked about the history of he cities we were in, and he answered all questions with patience and grace. He was amazing!!
Ramiro is an excellent tour guide and we enjoyed it very much. In hindsight we probably should just do one city per day and not combined both.
Very good. Actually am booking again 2026 with my kids. Next Year will bring the whole family. Be Sure to bring sub protection
It was a great experience in which Sara our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly an explained in great details what we were going to do and see.,
Good comprehensive tour ;when split into English/Spanish speaking tour guides it ended up being small groups. Time was well managed at each site. Plenty of time to explore on your own, balanced with learning the History of both sites. Both of our English speaking guides were exceptional. David was our Toledo guide- he was quite impressive. I cannot remember our female guides name for Segovia - but she was a local and she introduced us to some of the artisans as she was walking through town. It was amazing!! The side trip to the steel sword making factory in Toledo was very interesting. 10/10.
Ramiro was phenomenal! Very informative and not too much accent so we could understand him very well (Americans). We learned a lot and had free time to explore on our own! Segovia is cool in the morning. . . Toledo is very warm in the afternoon. We wore lightweight slacks - the Mrs and me - and even in August we weren’t terribly uncomfortable - a little warm in Toledo but not too bad Overall we would do a tour again, no question, well worth the extra coin!
Great experience! Great guide Alejandro and driver Quille! Strongy recommend tour!
The conductor was awesome Quille and our guide Alejandro very helpful answering any questions we had. Very knowledgeable. He even had chargers for us on the bus to charge our phones. That was a plus.
Enjoyed our full day tour. Our guide Angie and Elias very knowledgeable.
Tamara was an excellent guide. It was an exceptionally hot day and she did her best to keep the group in the shade and entertained. Seeing the Alcazar of Segovia is definitely worth your time - it’s a very unique and beautiful palace. Would highly recommend.
Awesome experience. The tour was very organized and fun. The tour guide was great. I would recommend this tour.
Guide Alejandro and bus driver is Sergio and Paco. Everything went perfect and the staff was very helpful and kind.
A very nice trip with very knowledgeable and cool guides. I want to thank Jose-Luis and Rito for their devotion and kindness.
Juan and Alejandro were great, the bus was very comfortable, the city’s were great, very satisfied with the experience!
Alejandro is a great leader to care we visit Castle
Disorganised trip from start to finish and some details about day misleading! Asked us to arrive at 8.30 to leave at 8.45 but this didn’t happen - people turned up late and we waited then a walk to pick up coach so at least 9.15 before departure! Segovia beautiful and good tour. Then stopped to swap buses to a smaller one on the excuse that it would get us to Toledo quicker, however air-con was very poor on a very hot day! Toledo started with a boring workshop stop which wasn’t advertised, just a selling activity and toilet stop but not what we wanted to experience and seemed to be at expense of the other listed activities in Toledo. A stop at the bridge and a brief walk through town to the cathedral does not constitute a 50 minute tour! Left for nearly two hours to do our own ‘thing’ without maps etc. Also had to carry backpacks etc around with us because there was yet another change of bus!! Returned to pick up point for the right time only to sit in blazing heat waiting for other people (not from original tour) who then never turned up! Finally despite tour being advertised as returning to start point - we were put on a service bus that took over half an hour to get us back to where we started !! Totally unsatisfactory. If you want tour in English I would say Alex spoke 66% of time in Spanish 33% English! In hindsight we should have looked at alternative options - Segovia really worth visiting, Toledo was a very limited experience and overall this tour was a very very disappointing experience.
Good and entertaining guide.
This tour was a really amazing experience! Our guide Rakel was everything I could have asked for. Her way of talking and personality made the trip great. It was really organized, and never any doubt about anything. I feel like I would have wanted to spend a little more time in Segovia, but other than that everything was great!
This tour was great! Dani the tour guide was super knowledgeable and always answered questions with patience and passion! It’s a long day but totally worth it! Spend extra and take the Castle guided tour too!
José Luis, Maria, and Elias gave great tours of Segovia and Toledo! Interesting, informative, and entertaining.
Very informative. Had a good time. Very well organized. Covered a lot in short amount of time. Enjoyed by all
The Segovia and Toledo tour is a must. You might as well buy the Alcaraz entry for Segovia. Well worth it. Ramiro the tour guide was awesome and genuinely caring.
We did the all day tour from Madrid to Segovia and Toledo. There is a lot of history and beauty here. The tour guides Jose Luis, Rito and Emilio were great. I only gave it a 4 because I feel like there was not a lot of free time in Segovia and a lot in Toledo. Maybe it could be split a little differently .
The itinerary is excellent! Beautiful places, lots of history and culture. Comfortable shoes is a must and Segovia was much cooler than Madrid so need some extra layer but check the weather forecast. Don’t expect too much from the English speaking guides and you’ll have a fabulous time :)
All on time lovely tour guides great drivers
Well planned. The team did a great job explaining the sites. Their language skills were excellent. It was a wonderful excursion and able to get out of the city (Madrid) to see some of the country side in a comfortable (well air conditioned) bus. Would highly recommend.
Angie was very patient and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tour tremendously. Segovia and Toledo are quite charming and beautiful cities to see and explore.
The Segovia part was fine. The Toledo part of this tour was completely disappointing. We were basically given some brief history, and the tour ended in front of the cathedral. We were not taken nor instructed about seeing the Monasterio de San Juan de los Reyes or Puente de San Martín, the scenic bridge view. We did enjoy seeing the artisans making the swords. Considering the amount of money spent on this tour, I would not recommend unless charges are made.
Took this tour a year ago which d9es show why the tourguide continues to ask for reviews as we come back and forget but I am finally reviewing. Our tour guide was friendly, professiinal and very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. The tour itself was filled with places to see and lots of wonderful photo opportunities and vies but not enough time to eat vs seeing things. I grabbed something in the go.
Beautiful place for visiting with family and friends strong recommend
It’s a long day but worth it. It’s a great opportunity to make the most of your time in Madrid. We learned a lot and the views worth amazing.
Elias and Rachel were amazing. Jose Luis, the guide for the entire trip was Excellent!!! Do go on this one, you won’t be disappointed.
Great tour. Great guide, Angy.
Angy was very nice, kind and funny! Thank you, Angy
Great trip! Lovely places, would love to come back again.
the English tour become an English and Spanish tour. it was very difficult to catch the story because it was flip flop between the two languages.
Excellent trip and great tour guides
Wonderful day exploring and learning about Segovia and Toledo. Angy was our guide and was very informative and entertaining. It's a long day, but we'll worth it. LOTS of walking so wear comfortable shoes and I definitely wouldn't recommend bringing young children.
Visited Segovia and Toledo. Because the cities are relatively far from Madrid as well as from one another, we spent more time on the bus than we did in either place.
I had a wonderful experience on my tour to Segovia and Toledo! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised, and both cities were absolutely breathtaking. We had a incredible guide, named Angie, who was knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing the stories behind every monument and street. Her attention to detail and warm personality turned a great tour into an exceptional one. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Spain. A truly great experience.
It was a great experience. Everything was handled very professionally. Our tour guide Ophelia was wonderful. So were her co workers in Segovia and Toledo.
Tamara did a very good job, she was very knowledgeable
Love it! Well organized. Excellent guides. Both Ramiro at Toledo and a Alvarado at Segovia were amazing. We took the tours in Spanish. The guides were knowledgeable and warm. Highly recommended, you will not regret it. The cities are rich, this tour provides a comfortable paced tour of the cities.
Ramiro was amazing, we had such a good time! Gave us a great recommendation for lunch in Segovia, and made sure we had time to enjoy it. Thank you so much!!
