Royal Palace Guided Tour Small Group With Tickets

This was NOT a small group tour. At check in I was told that is a mistake. There is no small group tour. There were 26 people in the group . Chaotic start. Finally arrived at the palace and only had 1 hour tour. The guide was not great. Disappointing experience.

Juan Antonio was amazing! He was very polite, respectful, and most of all very a knowledgeable. We had an excellent experience! 10 out of 10! Totally recommend him for your next Tour!

Booked this small group tour months ago for 11:00. Received a call yesterday telling us the tour was changed to 12. This was ok. Email directed us to the wrong address. Finally arrived to find the small group tour was canceled and we were in a large group- people who booked the 10, 11, and 12 o’clock tours were combined into one. Not at all happy. Tour guide Ander was very good but with such a large group, he was often talking about things in one room while part of the group was still trying to get into that room. We were never told that we would be in a large group or we might have canceled. Sure hope that we get the promised refund of the difference in costs for the tour.

Palace is beautiful and recommend walking the palace with audio tour, as you can go at your own pace. Addition of the gallery adds several hours to the day, but is also a beautiful curated museum.

Such a great tour! Marta was a very entertaining tour guide! She was funny, kind, and also very informative! It was easy to meet with the group and it wasn’t too long either which was nice.

This was my first time visiting the Palacio Real in Madrid. I was very pleased with the visit and the organized tour by Naturanda. The tour guide, Juan Antonio was great, he was very knowledgeable about the palace and the history of the different details of the palace, its use and the history about some of the kings and queens who lived and used this palace. I would recommend this tour. It took about two hours for the tour.

Juan Antonio gave us a great tour of the Royal Palace. There would be no way we could have learned to much by just walking this tour ourselves.

It was first moved from Thursday to Wednesday because the palace was closed. Then they phoned and canceled the tour on Wednesday as well! Very disappointed

The guide was fluent in English and shared detailed insights about the palace and its rich history. The experience was both informative and enjoyable. A well organised small group tour of the Royal Palace.

Guided tour did not take place, very disorganised. The tour operator did not have enough headsets and then they attempted to hire some at the Palace, which- after 15 minutes wait - did not work out either. They offered a download on the mobile or a partial refund instead. Tour guide could not say how much would be refunded. Waiting to hear back from them.

Excellent . Our tour guide Miguel was very amazing. He explained in details every aspect of the visit to the Royal Palace. Great personality and knowledge.

The tour began on time, and our group included about 30 people—so I’m not sure it truly qualifies as a ‘small group.’ However, the main issue was that the tour description wasn’t accurate. It claimed we would spend two hours touring the Castle and finish at the Paseo del Prado, but we only spent about one hour inside the Castle, which was disappointing.

Our tour with Nico was fantastic! He knew so much about the palace and it felt intimate and informative. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the palace. I felt much more appreciative of the details and history.

Our guide Andrea was informative and had a good sense of humor, which made the tour more enjoyable. Also liked that I was at the wrong meeting spot initially but Viator called me to see where I was. They could have easily gone on without me; it was greatly appreciated.

The tour didn't start on time, I selected a tour in spanish of the royal palace and even after they checked my reservation, they were sending me to do a tour with a group in english. They didn't give me the earphones at the beginning and I had to ask them another time. They never apologized, the staff was rude and unfriendly. At the end of the tour the were really pushy into advertising their other tours and leaving a review on Tripadvisor. The tour was on the 11th of August in the morning.

Tour Operator called 30 minutes before advertised start time to tell us we had to be there immediately because tour was about to start. Our Uber could not make it that quick.. Operator blamed palace for a change in admission time. Surely they'd be in contact regularly with the palace to be aware of time changes?

Our tour guide was Miguel. We had a great time. He is very nice and knows a lot about the history - both modern and old - of the Palace. Fully recommended tour. Note - meeting point - Naturanda’s offices - was a little difficult to find as it doesn’t have a street and number. Taxi driver just dropped us off at Plaza España 9 area and we had to use our phones to find it.

Miguel was a wonderful tour guide! Informative and a sense of humor. He answered questions and moved at a pace that catered to the whole group. I really enjoyed it.

It’s good to get a guided tour through palace 1.2-2hrs is enough So each room summary & story is explained.. a group tour is good.

Visiting the palace was one of the highlights of our trip — every corner was filled with beauty and history. But what made it truly special was having Miguel as our guide. His passion and knowledge brought everything to life. Huge thanks to him for making the experience so memorable. This trip wouldn’t have been the same without you!

Beautiful! The tour was delayed because of the Palace so we went to the church next door before. Guide was excellent and answered many questions? along the way. It was very informative and organized!

This was a fantastic tour and well timed. What made the experience as wonderful as it was was having a friendly, funny and well informed guide. Clara was a delight, and I was extremely impressed with her art knowledge. She picked the best pieces at El Prado and gave us a very thorough explanation of the particular artist and pieces. Extremely impressive.

Excellent 2 hour guided tour sampling the Prado. Christiana gave us a wonderful perspective of the important works from the major painters starting with Bosch. Highly recommend it.

Cristiana provided us with our best ever art museum tour. Her presentation painted a picture of the artists, their style/unique characteristics, and their works since we visited only those most important. She made the art come alive and memorable…

Christiana was excellent in highlighting key works and often did so with a little humor. She was outstanding in moving our group of 12 through the crowds. The microphones used to iced clear sound, no static, and were lightweight.

David was very kind and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to learn about Spanish history from him. He was very welcoming to all.

We had a fab tour with Martha as our guide. She had loads of great things to tell us. The palace was amazing and afterwards we had a short tour of some of the sites, finishing at The Prado. I would thoroughly recommend this tour. Also recommend The Prado. Martha was a breath of fresh air.
