Alvides is the next stop, an exclusive winery only available to my clients, where we will have the opportunity to visit this splendid venue which others don’t have access to! A unique experience open only to our group. As third generation wine makers, Sara and Rodrigo are part of this project, giving a youthful essence to the Ribera del Duero region. An underground cellar from XVI century will be the tasting place, we will feature Clarete Rosado, Classic Crianza and Tercera Generación 2021 (95points) and Finca Juanillas, a unique wine with only 250 bottles in production per year reserved only for my clients. Great trip with lots of wine, good food and great people. We were a small group so it definitely felt more personal and special. Would definitely do it again, the wineries we visited were diverse and beautiful.
Very well done! Tour guide and the different wineries were amazing. Would be nice if there was an option to be picked up at your hotel, but a taxi to the meeting point was just under $10 Euros.
Great, small group tour (5 ppl + our guide). I love visiting wine regions and new-to-me wineries when traveling. This tour was done particularly well. Our guide was super knowledgeable and helped bridge translation issues, as I was the only English-only speaking person on the tour. I never felt left-out or like I was receiving less of an experience, which is a plus as a solo female traveler. The wineries were top-notch and no hard sales-pitch/pressure to purchase at any of the 4 wineries we visited. All of the winery hosts were polite, engaging, and happy to make each persons visit curated to their needs . Lunch at the 3rd stop was wonderful! I highly recommend this tour!

Great tour of the best wine region in Spain. The second winery was my favorite because of how unique it was, very small, just a bus stop size opening door, with a steep staircase into the cave winery. Think of caving for your wine, not any easy passage. Johnny was our guide and did either Spanish or English for part of the group depending what the wine pourer spoke. Our group of six was great, us in our 60s, newly weds from Chicago and couple from Mexico. I got to practice a lot of Spanish on the 2 hour ride to the Ribera de Duero.

Raul was a fantastic guide on the tour. He is incredibly knowledge about wine, answered any questions we had, and gave us tips / tricks on how to properly taste wine. The small group made it very personable and allowed us to really get to know the group. Could not recommend this tour more.

I have been on many wine tours in Europe. I am level 3 WSET certified in wine. This was an absolutely excellent tour. It is rare/ perhaps unprecedented to find a one day tour that includes 4 wineries and lunch, despite being a 2 hr drive away. Raul was an excellent and knowledgeable guide with flawless English. Van was full (8 people including Raul) but comfortable Highest possible ranking and hope to go on another tour with him in the future.

Ribeira del Duero is amazing! Only 2 hours driving from Madrid. It’s Autumn now here and the grapevines are “red/brown/yellow colored. The vineyards are so beautiful and full of a beautiful history behind it. Special thanks to our guide Yanny.
This tour was enjoyable and educational. It included a range experiences from modern to “old world”. We had the added benefit of a nice and friendly group on the tour with us. The guide was knowledgeable and patient. The vehicle was modern and comfortable.
Yanny was our most excellent guide to the Ribero del Duero! The van was comfortable for 6 wine lovers from all over the world. Yanny gave a good wine history lesson for the region enroute. Each winery we visited was unique in its own way. The tour of Cair was the most in depth walk thru of wine production that I've ever experienced. The wine cave at Alvides took us back in time -- to what we considered the best wine of the day. Throughout the tour day, Yanny helped smooth out any language translations as well. It was nice to meet a younger generation at the wineries carrying on traditions that go back hundreds of years.
The wine tour is an exceptional value, especially if you get Giuseppe as your guide. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. He made sure every individual was comfortable and he shared so much information not only on the wines but the history of the region. We went to 4 wineries and each one was a unique experience. I highly recommend this excursion.

This is a great tour for those who like wine and spanish red wine in particular. You will visit FOUR wineries and taste a lot of good wines while learning a lot of the area and wineproduction. You will also have the opportunity to walk among grape vines. We were lucky to visit during harvest and got a good view about the handicraft about the production of wine from grape. Our guide Raul was very knowledgeable and made our day perfect. I strongly recommends this tour!

This was a lovely day of 4 different wineries and a delicious tapas lunch. Especially enjoyed the Cair winery which offered a unique wine tasting experience and a delightful hostess. Our driver, Raul, was a wealth of knowledge on all wines, internationally as well as Spanish.

This tour was amazing! Our tour guide Yanny took such great care of us and was super informative about the region and the different wineries. All 4 wineries had something different and provided at least little snacks. At the one winery we were provided lunch which was amazing and the tortilla potata was the best one we had in Spain. The transportation van was super clean and new which made the drive much more enjoyable. We went on another wine tour and would say that this one is by far the best and worth the money!

We had a fantastic day with Enrique. Three great wineries plus an old cellar cave tour and more wine at the bar above it. Gorgeous countryside, good food and wine and a knowledgeable guide. Tour was just a small group of six which was perfect.
This was supposed to be a group tour but it ended up being just me and my wife. Raul could have cancelled the tour but he went ahead with it and we are very thankful that he did. Instead of meeting us at the original pickup point Raul offered to pick us up closer to where we were staying which was above and beyond. The first winery we visited gave us a glimpse of the history of the region, the type of grapes grown, and the different type of wines produced. We were given a full tour of the winery which was very interesting. The room where the barrels are stored was breathtaking. The second winery was a small family operation, we were given the opportunity to taste the wine in the family wine cave, a very unique experience. The bread and Olive Oil were to die for. Interacting with the entire family was special. We had lunch at the third winery, very good. The final winery was also a treat. I really felt like we got special treatment during each visit even though there were only 2 of us. I was not planning on buying any wine, but came home with a case. The local Tempranillo wine is excellent. Thank you Raul for a wonderful experience and teaching us so much about wine. Very much appreciated. Hope we get a chance to do another one of your tours in the future.
Raul, the host was very accommodating. He changed the pick up spot for the convenience of the customers, regardless of it, making it more difficult to get to the freeway. Also, he’s very knowledgeable about wine, and not just the Ribera del Duero, but the wines of the world. The wineries he chose were all very different, and the experiences at each complemented the entire experience very well. The lunch that was provided represented the Spanish tradition, it was very tasty as well.
This was one of the best wine experiences of my life. Enrique is the best guide ever and so knowledgeable about wine and Spain in general. He gave me great tips and took us to the most amazing wineries. He is also so kind! It was my birthday and he had a special treat for me. I highly recommend everyone do this tour with Enrique!!

We had a really enjoyable time visiting the Ribera del Duero on this small group bus tour. The winery visits we had very very instructive and interesting, and we learned a lot about the area. The wines we tasted were very impressive and reasonably priced, so we were able to buy a few bottles to take home with us. Enrique was our driver and tour guide, and he was a lot of fun to chat with. He has an incredible depth of knowledge about wine, in general, and the Ribera del Duero, in particular. I can't recommend this tour highly enough. We had a great time.
