Deyvis was knowledgeable and took time to answer everyone’s questions. But he was also very thoughtful in ensuring he reached out to people who were running last to ensure they were coming for the tour. Having experienced the opposite the day before, I was very impressed by this young man. Absolutely enjoyed his attitude and enthusiasm. Thank you Deyvis.

Great tour, highly recommend. Knowledgeable guide and it was very interesting. Highly recommend this experience.
Vanesa was a great guide for our tour and was very knowledgeable about the history of the park and monuments!
Excellent tour guide made the tour funny and interesting!!
I visited Retiro Park during my trip to Madrid in July 2025, and it was a great place to slow down after exploring the city's busy attractions. The park is free to enter and much larger than I expected, with plenty of shaded paths, gardens, and open spaces to enjoy. One of my favorite areas was the large pond near the monument, where people were rowing boats and relaxing by the water. It created a lively but peaceful atmosphere and made for some great photos. I also stayed until the evening and was rewarded with beautiful views of the city as the lights started to come on. If you're visiting in summer, bringing water and taking breaks in the shade is a good idea. I ended up spending nearly three hours here without realizing it.
Beautiful park experience! Definitely recommend the tour !our guide was knowleageable but lacked a bit of experience in my opinion.
Lovely tour of the park with great information of the history of Madrid and the park. The guide was very knowledgeable and it made for a lovely morning in Madrid.
The park is beautiful, definitely recommend coming here but be careful which tour guide you get, ours was slow and very unenthusiastic, also didn’t have many answers to any historical questions asked.
It's beautiful park with an interesting history. Our tour guide, Benny, was terrific. Even though it was a morning tour, it got very hot quickly so he tried to stop in shady spots, which was much appreciated.
Andrea was an excellent tour guide. She had a good plan to show us the park in an efficient pattern yet filling the time with stories and historical facts that made the tour seamless. She was great , really enjoyed her as our guide.
The guide did not acknowledge her with a visible company sign or greet me at the meeting point where I had to go to every single group to check if she was the one conducting the tour. Since I was the only visitor who joined this group, the tour did tour me around the destined points and gave information of each location which I inquiry about However, as a local guide, I would expect her to show warm hospitality and be more initative. rate of her performance = fair
The tour was interesting the tour guide had a lot of knowledge and she had a great sense of humor:-)
The history that involved the park. Although we couldn’t see the entire park it was a true pleasure!!
The garden was amazing! Christina really brought things to life with her descriptions and explanations. She was very very knowledgable and even showed us a hidden part of the garden that even the residence of Madrid don’t know about! It was a wonderful tour and I highly recommend.
Ismael was great, we enjoyed learning about this absolutely beautiful park, I would highly recommend going to spend time there!! After our short tour we found a restaurant to have lunch, it was a lot of fun.
The walking tour featured highlights of Retiro Park, which was perfect for my family because we were limited on time. Our tour guide was interesting and shared many facts. She also shared some visuals to add to her presentation. With a tour guide, my family and I were able to leisurely experience Retiro Park without wasting time searching for the “must see” landmarks.
We felt that Rocio had a very engaging manner in which She explained the history and the Park. She made it fun and interesting which makes it easier to remember the facts, people, dates… etc
The park is beautiful and we learned a lot. Our guide had a heavy accent but we were able to understand most of what he said. He also made some nice recommendations for the rest of our trip. Tour definitely worth the time.
Amanda was awesome! Great tour guide! She is friendly and full of knowledge about the park and city's history.
Patricia was very knowledgeable about the history of the park, and took us directly to the points of interest. She was attentive to our questions, and even did a short coffee stop when we asked for one.
Amanda was the best. We love her and participated in 2 tours with her. She also answered many questions about Madrid. Thanks Amanda for all the recommendations, especially the Barganzo restaurant.. amazing food. Thanks so much
Pablo shared his passion for the park with us as well as his knowledge of the history of the area. Our time with him in the park was a Madrid highlight.
We booked English language tour for Friday 29/09/2023 and paid €18 for 2 people. We paid €10 for taxi to get to the meeting point. But when we got there the tour guide said it's only in Spanish. Waste of time and our money. Horrible experience. I won't book anything else through trip advisor.
Met our guide at 10 am. We had a great tour learning about the park and its history. I enjoyed seeing the trees and gardens. Maybe we will spend some more time on the far end of the park. Our tour guide was fluent in English, and answered all of questions.
Good tour if you have limited time to just see the highlights of the park. Unfortunately crystal palace was closed.
Our guide Andrea was great. She was very informative and spoke clearly and loud enough for all to hear. She thoroughly enjoyed what she was doing and appreciated her knowledge and thoroughness.
I booked two tours with this company and had a great experiencie. This tour is great! It’s amazing to see and learn that a modern place like this has a lot of history. If you like walking tours, this is a great one. Tip: if you are not interested on doing the tapas tasting, you can book this tour and the Palace tour separately, this helped me save time.
Rocio was very knowledgeable of the Park’s areas - I enjoyed her explanations. The Park is beautiful and it also have a lot of historic areas.
Beautiful park and a great experience in this wonderful city. Andrea was fantastic and very knowledgeable as our tour guide ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This tour was great from beginning to end. Not only was our guide, David, deeply well-versed in the history of the park, Madrid, and Spain, his appreciation for the park was evident from start to finish. The pace of the tour was great, and David was kind and patient, and he answered all our questions. I highly recommend this tour.
Benito was an excellent guide through Retiro Park. It’s a real gem. He provided the interesting history of the creation and usage of the park. Benito answered questions we had and was always courteous, friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
Great tour with excellent information. Patricia was excellent tour guide (English speaking) and pointing out great pieces of information that would've otherwise been missed.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and very open to questions about the Retiro — or anything at all about Madrid. He made the tour interesting and the time went surprisingly quickly.
The park was lovely but the tour was a little disappointing. The guide was very pleasant but he kept turning his head away when talking, looking rather at the thing he was describing rather than his visitors, which made it difficult to hear what he was saying.
They told me I could leave my luggage at the bus, but there was no bus!! I had to forfeit the tour because I was not going to be carrying my luggage all over the place. I asked the tour operator for a refund, but they told me I had to ask Viator. They only shift blame to one another
Amazing wet walk around the park the tour guide was brilliant and knew there facts. Would recommend to other tourist
This was the worst tour I’ve ever been on. The tour guide spoke in both Spanish and English, but most of her talking was to the Spanish group. The English speaking part of the group were left out in the hot sun while she was talking to the others. The highlight of the park is the Crystal Palace, but she spent hardly any time there. Certainly not enough time to take photographs. When the tour was done, I went back to the Crystal Palace on my own, as well as some of the other places in the park. Refund!
A nice walk in a green oasis in Madrid, recommended on hot days, the little lake is iconic, the Crystal Palace is under renovation... A must-see is the Reina Sofia Museum....modern art... Highly Recommended
It is a very beautiful, well-kept park and the gardens near the palace are gorgeous
A dream park. I celebrated my 50th birthday with a boat ride (€6). We returned the next day and rented a 4-seat electric pedal go-kart (€30 for 1 hour). Beautiful
A green oasis in the heart of Madrid, I dare say an open-air museum that also offers you the pleasant experience of renting a small boat and going around the lake.
He didn't show much empathy. Although it demonstrated good professionalism, it did not encourage the participation of tourists. She was also accompanied by an intern and they were talking to each other.
Guided tour of the Queen's Park. It's a very inexpensive little tour. Less than ten euros. We learn lots of things. A lot of information. Anecdotes and details.
Immensely large, this park in the city center is superbly maintained and quickly allows you to forget the noise and nuisances of the nearby city and undoubtedly brings serenity to Madrid residents. Superb spots like the small lake with its superb monument, the crystal palace, the rose garden without forgetting the superb colors of the thousands of trees during this autumn season make this park an essential place to visit.
Beautiful and well-kept park, within the city and close to the Prado Museum. Beautiful, careful, trees and birds, Beautiful Crystal Palace. For resting, hiking or picnicking.
Beautiful park, walking along the lake with all the chalets around and maybe having a beer is a unique experience, don't skip this visit
Very good walk through much of the Retreat. JoseMi told us a lot of history of Spain, Madrid and Retiro. Very interesting everything. José is a very nice boy and good storyteller. It has been a great Sunday morning!
¡Todo estuvo excelente! ¡Nuestra Guía informó todo muy bien e hizo de nuestra experiencia una muy divertida! ¡Recomiendo esta excursión 100%!!!
