Such a great experience! We tried amazing wine and explored the beautiful city of Segovia! Laura was an excellent tour guide. She gave us interesting facts and stories. I would only wish we’d be able to go into the castle in Segovia!

My husband and I took this tour with our 2 adult children, and it was a great addition to our visit to Madrid. Cristina was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide who brought mirth to the adventure. Wine was yummy, and Segovia was beautiful and old. Great way to see the snow capped mountains in another region. Gracias, Cristina!
Highly recommended! It was an amazing trip and Cristina is knowledgeable and professional. So much fun! Great experience :)
Tour guide is very knowledgeable. The time seems early but you’re able to rest on the ride. Wine tasting was in a beautiful building and we tasted several wines. Segovia was also nice, with great photo moments. Wear comfortable shoes!
This is the best store I’ve ever had amazing amazing amazing go have fun eat drink. Don’t be afraid to ask to go get a refreshment at the bar on your way which means travel sites. They are very flexible and accommodating. I had the best time.
Bad business! Cancelled on us less than 24 hours before hand. I would be charged three days prior if I did a no-show but yet here they cancel with less than 24 hours notice making it very difficult to book something else. Don’t. Chance it
Horrible! Canceled on us at 3:00 am day of. We had to take a train in our own to Segovia and it cost us 2x as much as if we had scheduled in advance. DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR!
Seeing the Roman acuaduct in person. And getting to know the difference between American oak and French oak.
Do not do this trip. The guide was a lovely woman, and the ONE (not two) winery was also lovely. This trip is 5 and a half hours in a bus with seating for ten year olds. I almost got out of the bus as soon as I sat down, but I figured the ride wouldn't be too long. I was wrong. It's a day on a cramped bus, with a lovely tasting at the winery for an hour, and a walk around Segovia for an hour. We purchased the lunch, which we had to rush to get back to the bus and which was worth less than half of what is charged. In short, get a car, make the lovely drive to ANY winery that is less than 2 and a half hours, drive to Segovia on your own schedule and enjoy your visit. This trip is painful (literally) and rushed. If you are more than 5 feet tall, don't even think about it.
It was a wonderful memorable day tour. Our guide Laura was fantastic..warm, friendly, knowledgeable and really took good care of us. Highly recommend anyone who visit Madrid to at least do this day tour. Segovia n the winery are beautiful and very special. Very good tour company, guide and driver. Very nice Aircon bus too. A tour not to be missed!!! Oh yes, upgrade your tour with very good roast pig lunch. Delicious!
Our guide Loura has been wonderful. With her clear introduction and explanation it made our trip very much more enjoyable snd interesting.. Thank you Laura
Segovia was so beautiful and quaint. I would love to come back again to explore more, but one day was a nice taste. The winery was fun and the wine was great. I think choosing a winery actually in Segovia or closer to town would be better, but the winery itself was great.
Amazing tour!! Our tour guide Laura was very informative, and did an amazing job explaining things in both Spanish and English. The wine tasting was delicious and educational. I was very impressed by the production and care they take into making the wines. Segovia was very romantic and full of little shops that kept us very entertained. Make sure you go and get the Segovian ponche before you leave (a pastry that is specific to that region). I only wish I had more time, but there are only so many hours in a day. I would absolutely recommend this tour!
We loved the tour inside the winery, it was delightful to taste the varieties and see the whole process to achieve both of the wines. Regarding Segovia, it was short and sweet; if you are looking for something brief, this is the tour for you, otherwise we advise you to look for a tour specifically made to visit Segovia. Laura was very kind and attentive during the whole trip, she does have an excellent fluidity between English and Spanish. We’d recommend this tour to couples and friends!
The guide was lovely and I have no complaints about her, but this trip was not as represented. From the description: 1. Visit two wineries and taste a variety of wines - We only visited 1 winery. The winery itself was fine and the tour was interesting, but it was much farther from Madrid than I thought it would be (more than 2 hours). I expected it would be on the way to Segovia but we ended up spending half of the day driving. 2. Use free time to see the town of Peñafiel at your own pace - Never happened. 3. Comprehensive tour of Segovia, including its famous aqueduct, cathedral and Alcázar - We did have a walking tour with the guide who was excellent, but it felt incomplete. We didn't get much time at any place, didn't get to go inside the cathedral or Alcázar. I feel like I didn't get to see the town at all. 4. Enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant or free time - Not much free time, we really had to rush through lunch to meet the guide for the tour. I wish we had been given some recommendations for where to go. The guide just pointed in a direction and said there were many restaurants, and we should just pick one that didn't have a lot of options on the menu as those were more likely to be touristy. As it was we just went to the first restaurant we saw so we could make it to the meeting point in time to meet with the group. Overall, I regret going on this tour. Absolute waste of time and money.
The guide Laura and the driver Enrique gave an awesome service. The winery staff and experience it self was also very passionate and knowledgable. The only change would request is for it to be a lot longer to enjoy more things.
Everything was wonderful and our guide Laura Sanchez created a fun and educational day for a large group of both English and Spanish speaking people. The driver, Enrique managed to get us to our destinations through a lot of rain and even some snow. A fabulous experience and day! And great wine!
The walk around Segovia with our guide’s historical context was excellent. The wine tour was also well done.
Excellent tour. Very informative and fun. Our tour guide Lisa Shuhaibar is excellent and strives to keep the tour flowing without any problems or delays. She is a great asset to the company. We will definitely be back and hope to have her as our guide again.
We really enjoyed our tour to Rivera del Duero’s Wineries which included Cair and Emilio Moro. Cair was a nice micro winery but the tour of the facility and the detail provided along the tour by Gemma was top notch. Emilio Moro is one of the biggest wineries in the area and you can tell the difference between the two facilities. Gonzalo did a great job walking us through the facility and going into the detail of there process. Can’t forget about our tour guide Lisa who was wonderful and really assisted the group along the way. She found us all a nice restaurant in town for lunch and secured a great deal of 14€ per person for start, entree, and a drink! She organized it all for the group. Our driver Antonio also great. We had a smooth ride throughout the entire day. Great experience overall and would definitely recommend for anyone interested in checking out Rivera del Diero’s while in Madrid!
we visited two wineries and it was a wonderful experience (: made lots of friends and tasted great wine. just perfecto
My best friend and I had a fantastic time learning about wine and conversing with out wonderful tour guide! He was ver knowledgeable about our experience and did not rush us during our last tasting extending our time by about 30 minutes when the four of us on the tour were thoroughly enjoying our experience!
The tour was wonderful! The guide was so friendly and wonderful! We got to go to two wineries and both tours were great!
Augustin is a great guide and accommodating. Wine tour was fun and we enjoyed the experience very much. Would join this tour again 8/8
Agustín is a great guido made it so enjoyable. Peñafiel is nice but would be great some more time to reach up the castle. First winery tour so close and detailed, second one is clearly a bigger production place, so the tour feeling
My favorite part of the experience was the visit to Dominio de Cair and the passion and personal touch in which Noemi explained the process. The wines were exquisite and learning about it was interesting. Augustin and Enrique were the best!
The wineries were very informational. We enjoyed and learned a lot. I loved Lisa and her energy was great. I feel that a more comfortable bus is needed.
Great tour of Toledo and a beautiful winery! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the information the tour guides provided. I would recommend this tour.
Our guide Augustin was kind and engaging. We visited two wineries that each had their signature wines. The tastings were held in nice locations and there were food options provided and available. Overall, a nice day spent outside of the city of Madrid.
Both wineries were enjoyable to tour. Augustin was very caring and knowledgeable. He did great in building anticipation for each stop we made including the small town for lunch. The location of the actual tasting room of the 1st winery was warm and had delicious snacks to go with the wine. The second location was beautiful as it also had a Michelin starred restaurant on site. The wine tour there was excellent, very informative!
I had a great tour with Augustin and Antonio as our driver. Augustin was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone had a good time. Both winery tours were great and I learned a lot. The wines were great too.
I rate this experience a five star Augustin our tour guy was excellent I will strongly recommend this tour of 2 wineries!!
Had an incredible day visiting several wineries. Augustin was an excellent tour guide and showed us some really cool local spots in the area. Would highly recommend and do it again!
Very nice tour, the wineries we visited are lovely and Augustine made the trip enjoyable. Finger food offered is also very nice.
Wonderful day trip to the wineries. Informative, fun, and beautiful. Enjoyed it ! Overall would recommend this tour if you’re looking to experience Spain wine country
Great experience. Had a good time sharing wines with different people from US and Mexico. Augustine was an excellent host
The guide and crew were great. The scenery was pleasant and relaxing in the country side. The wines were great and the atmosphere was fun.
Very nice experience, pretty wineries, and great people doing the tours. Augustin our main tour guide was very friendly.
This is a full-day trip, but it's worth the time. The combination of the 2 wineries and the visit to Peñafiel is fantastic. Javier and Mercedes (if I recall her name correctly) were our guide and driver. Both very good. Javier explained us many facts about Spain history as well as monuments, landscapes, places, and so on. I absolutely recommend this tour. f in Peñafiel try the "lechazo". For us, it was hard to find a restaurant, but finally we found one and we ate this traditional dish.
Sebastian was a fantastic tour guide and both wineries Portia and Emilio Moro were unique and each provided a different perspective on wine making in this Spanish region
It is rare to find a convenient way to go to Ribera del Duero. This is an excellent way of comfortable and reliable transportation to the fantastic wineries in Ribera del Duero. Amazing wines and great explanation of how is made. Thank you Javier for all the info. about the history of Madrid and the beautiful monuments on our way there. This was the best experience of our trip to Spain!
Lovely tour through Toledo and a local winery. Perfect day trip from Madrid. Javier was excellent at explaining the history of the places we visited and also interesting facts. We had about 14 people on our tour in a comfortable bus. The timing was great if you’re after a taste of Toledo with a nice trip to a winery. Would recommend this trip!
Javier was wonderful and helped translate and explain all the aspects of wine-making and sites in Toledo. Would recommend!
Great tour all due to the tour guide Sebastian. He was cool and his laid back style made the tour memorable. Also we were a small group.
Visited one of the top winery in the region and had some great lamb ribs lunch. Sebastian our guide was punctual, very knowledgeable & professional. His sense of humor & knowledge of the region made the whole trip perfect even thou it was a 2 hours drive each way. Highly recommended!
Fantastically well organised, the host very friendly and knowledgeable, with very good english and spanish languages. Visited 2 great wineries, we learned about every step of wine making and tasted 7 different good wines. the guide tours very knowledgeable and friendly. Its a long drive but with great sceneries on the way and 100% worth it!
We did a vineyard & wine tasting tour - AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Sebastian was an absolute delight from start to finish, he more than happy to answer all of our questions and very knowledgeable. He spoke English and Spanish along with other languages fluently which was perfect for our mixed group! The vineyards we visited were beautiful and again an amazing experience. Will definitely be back!
Sebastian is really friendly and speaks English and Spanish fluently as well as other languages. He has great knowledge of the area and of the tour while explaining it really well. Bonus points for being funny
Such an amazing day we did spend visiting two of the major wineries in th DO Duero. We had some very Inter explanations and of course tastings of some of the best wines in Spain. Simply mind blowing.
I don't know where to begin on this wonderful trip for our family. I thought this would be a nice splurge, and it ended up being the best deal of our entire trip. My husband, two daughters and I were driven in an impeccable private van by Valerio and our guide Majed..more about how terrific they were to come. We drove 1.5 hours outside of Madrid through breathtaking landscape of mountain and country. Our first vineyard was a small independent company, where the tour guide was welcoming and knowledgable and the landscape beautiful. We walked, we tasted and enjoyed our visit. Our next stop was the larger Abadia Retuerta vineyard, where we rode the vineyard in a range rover to see the restored abbey/hotel on the property, vineyards and again tasted delicious wines. We ventured on to the small town of Penafiel and had a delightful lunch in an old mill with more wine! A tour of the town and Penafiel Castle (10th century) and bullfighting square (yes square, you'll have to go to find out) and another beautiful ride back to Madrid. Now our guides. Valerio and Majed were perfect. Knowledgable, friendly, helpful and a pleasure to be with. Majed dispensed interesting facts and knowledge and Valerio kept everything moving and on time. Additionally, my daughter left her pack with her Identification and credit card into the car upon our return to Madrid. Since Valerio had personally reached out to me the day before our trip, I was able to contact him, and he located her bag for an easy meet up the next day to return it. Thank you for the great attention and service! This trip is more than worth both your time and money. I will certainly use WE World Experience again thanks to Valerio, Majed and an unforgetable day in Spain.
