We booked a 2-hour TukTuk tour, and acknowledge that we were 13 minutes late arriving but from that point we were given a 1 hour and 10 minutes fast tour that only two opportunities for photos given by a guide, Julian who spoke broken English was difficult to understand and was in a rush to finish. I have taken several other TukTuk tours and was very satisfied. I would recommend you stay away from this tour in Madrid. Ripoff.

Itinerary
The Royal Basilica of San Francisco el Grande, officially Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels, is a Catholic church in Madrid, in the Palacio neighborhood, within the historic center of the capital of Spain.
The Almudena Cathedral is the most important religious building in Madrid. On June 15, 1993, it was consecrated by Pope John Paul II, becoming the first consecrated cathedral outside Rome. The Almudena Cathedral Museum gathers dozens of objects that tell the story of the diocese of Madrid. In the twelve rooms that the museum has you will see from mosaics to episcopal shields and ornament.
Today the palace is used exclusively for receptions, ceremonies and official events since the kings of Spain reside in the Palacio de la Zarzuela. The Royal Palace is also called the Palacio de Oriente. The construction of the Royal Palace began in 1738 and the works lasted for seventeen years. Shortly after its completion, in 1764, Carlos III established his habitual residence there. The location of the palace was the same one that occupied the Palace of the Austrias, destroyed by a fire during Christmas Eve of 1734. The Palacio de Oriente is surrounded by the Campo del Moro gardens and the Sabatini gardens. The first, to the west, date from the Middle Ages; the latter were created in the twentieth century and are in the north. The Campo del Moro can be visited during the day.
Covered market from around 1916 with local food, delicatessen and events in an elegant atmosphere.
Located in the very characteristic Barrio de las Letras, we are opposite the place where one of the most famous writers in history lived and died: Miguel de Cervantes. After a life full of adventures, the writer of "Don Quixote de la Mancha" lived among the narrow streets of 16th century Madrid, where novels, theatrical performances in comedy pens, poetry and art coexisted, with street picaresque, duels between gentlemen and liars.
The Palace of the Spanish Courts, was built on the site of the former convent of the Holy Spirit that was used as the seat of Congress between 1834 and 1841. On the main facade, a staircase ascends to the neoclassical portico, with six imposing striated columns, of a Corinthian order, on which the triangular pediment decorated with reliefs of Ponciano Ponzano rises. The emblematic lions that flank the entrance are the work of the same sculptor and were cast with the iron of the cannons captured during the war in Africa. Under the pediment, the chiseled bronze door opens only on very marked occasions. Among the rooms of the building, symmetrical, stands out the well-known Session room, but also the library or the Conference room, better known as the "lost steps" room.
Both gods occupy prominent positions within the Greek mythological hierarchy and compete in the sporting arena, as Atlético de Madrid fans celebrate their victories in the Plaza del Dios del Mar, while Real Madrid do so in Cibeles.
Uniquely rich in paintings by European masters from the 16th to 19th centuries, according to art historian and Hispanicist Jonathan Brown, "few would dare to doubt that it is the world's most important museum for European painting."
Popularly known as "Los Jerónimos", its official name is the Parish Church of San Jerónimo el Real. It is located next to the Prado Museum, at the back, and is in the late Gothic style with Renaissance influences from the early 16th century. Although little remains of the original building because over the centuries it has been remodeled and restored on numerous occasions.
This monumental gate, built by order of Carlos III to replace a previous one dating from the 16th century, was inaugurated in 1778.
Surrounded by the buildings of the Buenavista Palace (Army Headquarters), Linares Palace (America House), Communications Palace (formerly the headquarters of the Post Office and currently the Madrid City Council) and the Bank of Spain.
Quite a decorative waste, awarded at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in 1884. The building was built with the aim of providing the National Bank with a headquarters more in line with the importance of its functions, such as the single issue of coins and bills for all the Spanish territory.
Plaza de Santa Ana is an open space in the Cortes neighborhood, in the Centro district of Madrid. It dates from 1810 and throughout its history it has undergone numerous urbanization processes that have modified its appearance with varying degrees of success.
Campo del Moro is a garden located in the Spanish city of Madrid. Declared of historical-artistic interest in 1931, it occupies an area of about twenty hectares, extending, from east to west, from the western facade of the Royal Palace to the promenade of the Virgin of the Port.
The Temple of Debod is an ancient Egyptian building currently located in the Spanish city of Madrid. It is located west of the Plaza de España, next to Paseo del Pintor Rosales, on a hill where the Cuartel de la Montaña was located.

Nice overview of the historic area. Good to do early in your visit to figure out what to go back and see in more detail. Laura was our guide and she was friendly and knowledgeable. The meeting spot is a challenge to find. We were the only 2 people on the 2 hour tour. The fee was OK. Comfortable ride.
The experience itself was excellent. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we posed. We did have some trouble finding the starting point as I was looking for more specific instructions on the viator platform but they came through What's App instead. The location video is definitely required to find your way.
Mario was amazing! He talked about so much history and pointed out so many beautiful buildings, was very knowledgeable and friendly! I would definitely recommend!
So worthwhile for first timers to the city & Spain. Gloria was sharp & informative courteous & waited for us as we for lost going to the waiting spot
This is a very good tour which I highly recommend. Our guide Camilo was very knowledgeable, pointing out highlights and providing context, history and good stories. This tour is a good way to get an introduction to the city.
Bobby was fantastic! So much history and knowledge. He was so friendly and stopped for us to get photos. We learned so much! Thank you!!
Difficult to find ! It is underground in the bus terminal . Once we found the place, after asking several people, it was a wonderful tour of the highlights of the city. He recommended lots of different places to stop and look further.
An informative tour with our expert guide Juan Jose, who's English was excellent!! We loved that the Tuk Tuk could navigate some of the narrow streets off the main roads where other bigger tour companies operate and felt this gave us a better and more intimate experience. A few stops along the way allowed a good stretch of the legs, some photo opportunities and to take in the beautiful surroundings (Church, Park and a mystery stop at the end of the tour). We booked last minute (same day). Very clear instructions on how to find the pick up point etc. There are a lot of Tuk Tuk tours around, but we would recommend booking through Eco Tuk Tuk.
This tour could have been really interesting and was a great way to canvas the city quickly, and decide where we might want to go next on our trip to Madrid. Our problem was that our driver was about 15 minutes late, and there is no signal or wifi where you are supposed to wait for the tuk tuks. I was needing to run up and down the stairs to call customer service and try to check the messages I sent to the team, while also checking to see if the person had arrived. The driver and customer service mentioned that it was probably traffic that was an issue, but the lack of communication was not great. The tour was also fairly lackluster. The driver seemed to be tired (it was a hot day) and not particularly engaging. I wish I had learned more about the city and there was a lot of silence during the tour. The tuk tuks also have multiple rows, and anyone behind the first row can't hear anything the tour guide is saying. The speaker hangs off the back of the driver seat only, and people in the back said they couldn't hear any the driver at all. TL;DR It was okay. It was affordable. If you want a quick tour of the city, it's fine, but it definitely seems like an experience that is highly driver dependent + the experience of the people in the back is at the mercy of the driver's speakers.
Javier was an excellent and personable guide.
Our guide was awesome drove safe and gave really good information about the city. One of our favorite tours
Flight was cancelled. Alternate flight caused us to be unable to attend the scheduled tour. I contacted Viator and the tour operator to ask about the possibility of rescheduling to the next day, which showed many available times. Viator also reached out to the tour guide on our behalf but they would not reschedule us. If they had no availability, this would be logical. Trip interruption insurance will reimburse us the lost cost and the reputation of Viator remains untainted since they attempted to resolve this; however, potential customers should be aware that the tour guide will keep your money without any effort to compensate.
Guides were great! I recommend this tour
Roberto was very knowledgeable and friendly. He covered most of important topics in a short time we had. He made suggestions about food, restaurants and locations per our request. Highly recommended!
Our Eco Tuk Tuk tour in Madrid with our driver/guide Roberto was simply amazing. Roberto is so knowledgeable on the history of Spain, making ancient landmarks come alive. His communication was seemless and engaging, which made our trip to Madrid unforgettable. If you are visiting Madrid, look for Eco Tuk Tuk with Roberto! His warmth, unparalleled knowledge and brilliant navigation turned a simple city transit into the absolute highlight of our Spanish holiday.
Great tour! Nerea was terrific! Very knowledgeable and fun. She did bog us down with information but have is all the best highlights. Great way to see the city and it was just the right amount of time.
Honestly one of the best experience we have had abroad. Christian was an amazing tour guide and gave us lots of information and knew all the sites and its history. Highly recommend
In Madrid, there are tuk-tuk drivers everywhere begging tourists to ride and are ready to make a deal. We actually didn't end up taking this tour. It was our first day ever in Europe, and we overslept due to the six-hour time difference/jet lag. We let the company know shortly before our scheduled time. I admitted fault for this mistake. We begged for them to allow us to take a later tour that day or later in the week, since they had dozens of open time slots. Unfortunately, they failed to see us as valuable customers and only saw us as money they had already made. So, they refused to allow us to take a later tour. It was a very bad start to our vacation. Regardless, we now know there is no reason to book ahead of time, since there are drivers all over town to ride at your leisure.
Jilián was terrific & we really enjoyed a relaxing time seeing Madrid without wearing ourselves out too early. He explained so much about the history & stopped for pictures.
We were looking for some fun, and to learn more about Madrid. Well, we really enjoyed our tour. The company owner was our kept us entertained and informed about where we were in the city and its attractions and history. We found out she has a soft spot for Corgi's. LOL
Worst experience With heat wave the company only covered the roof for the driver. Other companies had the tuk tuk covered for the guests It's wasn't easy to find them The driver took us in the same area, for 20mins I called the trip off half way through as it was extremely hot (unbearable)
This was our least favorite tour of our trip to Spain and Portugal. The guide seemed bored the entire time and there were very few stops. Photos were nearly impossible to do as you are weaving in and out of traffic. I would spend you money elsewhere.
This is a terrific way to see busy Madrid. Our guide Juan spoke English well and was so knowledgeable (with humor) about the city and its history. We really enjoyed the tour!
We loved our tour and tour guide Roberto. He was amazing. We made it late to our tour but still ended up doing most of the things on the schedule. He was kind enough to make accommodations and changes based on our schedule: Very informative and pleasant. We would definitely recommend this tour to others especially those with kids.
Had a wonderful time on this tuk tuk tour! Great way to see Barcelona and learn a lot from the locals. We loved our guides, Martí and Douglas William. The spots we visited were picturesque and we hit all of the major attractions in Barcelona within two hours. Would highly recommend - great tour for an even better price and a much more unique experience than a tour bus!
We took the full 3 hour tour of Madrid with our driver and Guide, Mario. He was very knowledgeable and friendly with very clear English so we understood everything perfectly. He paced the tour nicely with 2 chances to get out and stretch our legs with quick park visits. Fully recommend!
We really enjoyed our tour with Laura! She was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun to talk with. We never felt rushed and she provided us with lots of good tips while in Madrid. Highly recommend!
Excellent tour. You can view the landmarks and learn about Madrid's history. Gustavo was an amazing guide.
Good way to get an overview of the city center. Things got a little rushed at the end due to traffic. Our guide was great and offered his suggestions for good food and things to do.
Sylvia took us on a very informative, interesting tour of the historical center of Madrid. She was flexible to our needs. We were impressed with her friendly knowledge of the city. It was a great intro to the city.
The tour was enjoyable, and there was a lot to see. However, we were unable to step out to take pictures, particularly of the Sagrada Familia, even for just a few minutes. We also requested to be dropped off at the end of the tour near our hotel or a taxi stand.
This was a really great way to see the highlights d the city and learn more about Madrid’s history and culture. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable.
Bobby is an amazing tour guide. He KNOWS his stuff. He also was an excellent conversationalist. It seemed to us that 4 hours was a bit too long; there was some redundancy, but this was not Bobby’s fault.
Everything the “big “bus” tour isn’t! Just us and Jaime, our tour guide. We were able to go down cobblestone streets/alleys; spots the big bus can’t access. Great commentary and history along the way and time for quick stops with a much more personal touch. Highly recommended!
If I could write this 10 stars out of 10, I would. Juan Carlos provided an excellent introductory tour on our first day in Madrid. He spent a moment or two questioning us about the types of visits we plan to make and then customized our tour to see recommended spots like local obscure art, markets, restaurants, etc. we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. What a great way to see Madrid’s city center. Thank you JC!
Juan knows Madrid. We were flabbergasted when toward the end of our tour, Juan told us he was a new guide. Amazed at how much he knows about the city!
The guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. Also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places of interest!
Our "Welcome Tour" with Gustav, was excellent. We not only saw the city but understood some of the history of the city. We highly recommend the tour.
We had a great experience. Our tour guide, Carlo, was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a little difficult to find where to start the tour, but our guide sent a detailed video that made it easy to locate the starting point.
Carlos was a magnificent tour guide. He was very well informed and fun to have as a guide.
It was the best tour I've ever done. Carlos was fantastic.
Our driver was excellent and informative. His English was superb.
Kiko was an excellent guide and brought us all over Madrid. He was enthusiastic and informative and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our hour spent with him! 10/10, highly recommend. Thank you, Kiko!
Our guide Gloria was knowledgeable of the area and a very nice person. However, my wife and I did not enjoy the tour due to the poor sight lines of the eco Tuk Tuk vehicle. The plastic weather protection was rolled up on our tour. That is okay if your eye level is below the rolled plastic. For my wife and I however it pretty much blocked out our view of all the sights. If you are above average height the plastic will block out your view. Look for a Tuk Tuk tour with unobstructed sight lines.
We highly recommend the Eco Tuk Tuk tour of Madrid. For us bring out first time it this beautiful city it Rovided us a much wider understanding of the different neighborhoods then we would have discovered our own. Our tour guide Gustsvo provided an expert commentary tailoring specifically to our interests. Since arriving home we’ve already recommended this tour operator for a fantastic way to see to sites of one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. By the way the electric full tuks were comfortable and very quiet and have the ability of the driver to enter alleys that most cars couldn’t enter.
Do not use ECO Tuk Tuk Vehicle was basically enclosed in plastic and you could barely see any the places the driver was describing plus he was very hard to understand. Not once did he stop so you could take pictures!! I want my money back it was so bad!!!!
This was a great ride on a perfect day in Madrid. The driver/guide, Ignacio (“Nacho”), was very friendly and informative. I strongly recommend this tour!
We all had an obstructed view. There were bars at eye level, so we had to duck in order to see and the protective plastic on top made everything blurry. I requested some type of credit to try another one, but was refused.
The experience is amazing professional riders on board
