Excellent overview of the highlights in museum. Ander was very knowledgeable and did a great job. The palace was amazing and Anders did a great job narrating tour. Busy tour with a lot of walking which we enjoyed.

Reviews
Make sure you spend a full day for this activity . Make sure that you request a hearing system because our guide spoke so softly in the museum we could hardly hear him.
The tour guide was extremely helpful. She waited for us after our cab driver dropped us off in the wrong plaza. Her information and interest in all we visited was exceptional. Thank you EVA for a wonderful day!
We had booked a 9:45 tour and were rescheduled to 12:45 just the day prior. This was disappointing because we had wanted to do other things in afternoon and it was MUCH hotter in the afternoon walking in the city. The tour started very hectic with issues with the headsets we needed. Our guide Rueben Tried very hard to work out but it did take 45 minutes to get sorted. However; after this the palace tour he gave was very good. He is very lively and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the mile walk between the Palace and the Prada learning about the city. The information made the walk in heat more bearable. The Prada tour was a good overview of the museum discussing some of the major works. Overall, after the rough start, we enjoyed the tour very much and felt we gained some valuable knowledge of Madrid.
Eva is a fantastic guide. We toured both the Prado and Palace. We learned so much about key pieces of art at the Prado and about history at the palace. We were able to ask all of our questions. She is so knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
Our guide spoke broken English and was very hard to understand. Could not understand most of what he said. Changed head sets twice and still had static.
The walking tour is very interesting and the guide, Miguel, had a good grasp of English as well as the history of the places we visited. The beginning of August is hot so it was a little tiring. Otherwise, it was very good.
Having a private tour means being able to exchange ideas and ask all the questions you can think of. It also means having a guide who is flexible with your needs. It was perfecto!
It was a great experience and well explained and a detailed tour. Miguel is one of the best guides I have come across in my life. Keep doing the good work. Cheers
Great way to see a lot in a short time. Lola was an amazing guide and provided tons of information. It’s a lot of walking so we chose to Uber to the Prado.
Visited the royal palace and the prado museum. I highly recommend a guided tour, as Migiel was a wealth of information about all sorts of interesting paintings and details of the palace. Miguel really enjoys the art and listening to someone gush over what they enjoy is a much better experience than someone stating facts. We also had a nice walk from the palace to the museum, and stopped for churros on a whim.
Miguel was our guide, he was polite, courteous, so well read and articulate, patient and took enough time to explain everything so well! We enjoyed the experience with him!!
A wonderful tour with many highlights and interesting historical facts. The two stops & walks in between included a lot information about Madrid.
Marta was a great tour guide; very informative and insightful; kept the tour interesting and moving along; entertaining and answered all questions; the problem was in the start time and place; it was moved from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm; it was also unclear whether I was supposed to pick up voucher before going to meeting place; we had to walk from Royal Palace to Prado which was not clearly communicated; everyone paid their own taxi's to the Prado; it was very hot especially for young children and elders
This tour was customizable and gave great attention to the most important art pieces in the Prado and their historical and cultural relevance. Our guide Fátima was very sweet and very knowledgeable. The walking tour in between the two museums was a nice break, and Fátima pointed out all the sights, as well as, local spots to grab good bites (and where to avoid!). The Royal palace was beautiful, and she did a great job of giving us an overview of the Kings and Queens and timelines of the monarchs as well as, pointing out significant items of interest in every room of the palace and their importance. Overall it was a lovely, but full day of art and culture and it was really nice having the tour just us two and being able to ask questions.
I loved the information at the Prado museum. It was helpful to learn a lot from our guide’s descriptions of the art. If you already know a lot about art and what’s in the Prado museum, you don’t need this tour, but since we knew very little, it was helpful. The Royal palace was spectacular! An absolute must if you’re in Madrid!!! Angel, our guide gave helpful explanations of the rooms inside and it was great to have him there. He was a little hesitant sometimes with his English, but did a great job guiding us around. If I had one suggestion for the tour company it would be to give the group a few minutes (even 15-20 minutes) to grab a bite to eat. We brought a few small snacks but we were very hungry by the time it was over at 2:30. Overall a very nice way to see two of the most iconic Madrid sites!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and cheerful from our tour on May 10th. We visited the Prado Museum and Royal Palace. It was very convenient having the tickets to both attractions acquired for us and skipped some of the wait because of it. The tour of both met or exceeded our expectations and would recommend going with this company for this set of attractions or others in Madrid.
Eva was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the nobility of Spain and the artist who painted them.
Its is very intense at the Prada especially for art lovers. The guide did an excellent job of explaining and showing highlights. This should be considered an introduction to the Prado and a high level overview, not a detailed visit. Sensory overload is a common result… did not participate in the second part due to the sensory overload. Will return at a later time.
Miguel was absolutely amazing! I can't say enough about him. He is both very knowledgeable and passionate about art and Spain! His passion clearly shows in his character. While one could easily fill months studying the Prado Museum and Royal Palace, Miguel was able to give a LOT of detail in our short 5hr tour with him. It was perfect fo our first time in Madrid. Many thanks Miguel!
Martha was amazing. Well worth doing.
It was one of the best expediences we had since we travel. Our guide Rubin is very knowledgable, patient and friendly guide we ever met. We very happy we booked this company.
Our guide Eva is probably the most experienced and well versed tour guide we have ever met. She was able to provide in-depth details regarding many historical events, art, Spain's royal family, etc., in an amazing concise way that left us speechless. We were able to enjoy afternoon coffee with her and she's truly an amazing young lady that should be commended for providing such an experience to your customers. I would recommend her to anyone visiting the museum or royal palace. Please pass along our sincere thanks to Eva!!!
Excellent guide. I have a disability and she made sure i could keep up with the group
Marta was amazing, very kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend
Miguel was excellent. The tour had three separate parts. He added humor to his vast knowledge. The tour was excellent. Would definitely recommend
Reuben was knowledgeable and sympathetic to everyone’s feelings. Very great tour and interesting facts and details
Our tour guide was wonderful! She explained the history of the royal family with so much knowledge & enthusiasm!
Fantastic tour. Fatima is so knowledgeable and kind. Def ask for her as your guide. Can’t recommend enough.
Miguel was our guide and he was great! Very knowledge and kind. Took a lot of time to answer our questions and explain everything
My wife and I recently took a guided tour of the Prado Museum and the Royal Palace in Madrid, and it was an outstanding experience thanks to our guide, Aba. She was incredibly knowledgeable, providing rich historical context and fascinating details that really brought the art and architecture to life. Aba also did a great job keeping the group engaged throughout the tour, striking a perfect balance between informative and enjoyable. Her enthusiasm and professionalism made the experience memorable, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madrid.
It is a great and thorough tour of both attractions. Reuben our guide worked very hard to give us as much info as he could. One warning you walk to all the attractions, which is nice but it’s a lot of walking.
Rubins was a wonderful guide. Very thoughtful and knowledgeable. His great sense of humor made the tour even more enjoyable. I definitely would recommend this walking tour.
While we enjoyed our tour of the Prado and walking tour with Ruben, who is a wonderful tour guide, I cannot recommend Naturanda Turismo. We booked and paid months in advance for a 5 hour private tour for four people including a tour of the Royal Palace, a walking tour, and a tour of the Prado. I was notified by email that the Royal Palace would be closed 5 days before our scheduled tour. I replied immediately and asked if shortening the tour to just the Prado and a walking tour would be possible, what the price would be, and when I could expect a partial refund. I got a reply saying only that yes, we could have the tour for three hours instead of five. I emailed three more times about an updated price for the tour and refund of the admission to the Royal Palace but never got a reply. I eventually received a 35% refund, but only after messaging on WhatsApp a week after the tour. This company’s poor communication and customer service and lack of transparency in pricing are unacceptable in my opinion. I would not book with them again.
I only gave this 4 stars due to poor logistics. The guide was very knowledgeable but the tour is split between the Palace and the Prado, with an hours walk between the 2. During the walk guests are given about 20 minutes for lunch, which is nowhere enough time. Our time in the Prado was very limited. My suggestion, take a self-guided (audio) tour of the Palace - 1 hour is plenty. Then book a tour of the Prada separately.
The huge Palace is just incredible and having a guide made it so much more interesting than going it alone. And the Museum is a treasure. Plan to take a break after the tour in the museum and then see some more of the incredible art, if you are up to it. Be forewarned: there is a lot of walking between the two locations. It’s really not an easy tour. I was exhausted and frankly museumed-out by the time the tour ended. I look forward to returning to the art museum again someday.
Comprehensive. Pace was good. Leader was knowledgeable, personable, understandable (English). Audio headsets worked great. Had 30 minute break mid tour for quick lunch, treat or sit-down. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a lot out of a short time. 5 hours.
Miguel was brilliant as a tour guide. Gave me a new appreciation of great paintings. Witty, funny and so knowledgeable.
Thanks to Adrian for the full day learning about the impressive palace and the famous paintings at Prado Museum. Adrian was so kind to offer to walk with us from the Palace to the Museum. It was a walking tour through the route with the most impressive colonial buildings. He also pointed the entrance to buying sweets from nuns and other points of interest.
This combo of experiences is a great way to feel the history and vibe of the city and Spain, especially with an awesome guide like Miquel. His passion and whit made it over the top fun and kept this 10.000 step experience moving fast.
Miguel was a fabulous tour guide. Friendly, engaging, knowledgeable. He was very well informed and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our day with him.
Wonderful tour of Palace and El Prado with Marta as our guide. She was superb and audio devices were excellent.
Biggest issue is that the group got up to 30 people. Way too big. Microphone did not work well, and the guide said it was kind of broken. Although the guide seemed quite knowledgeable, their English was not that great.
Miguel was an absolutely fantastic guide for both the Royal Palace and the Prado. He struck the perfect balance between being informative and engaging—sharing just the right amount of history and detail without ever feeling overwhelming. His storytelling made everything come alive, and his sense of humor kept the experience fun from start to finish. Honestly, I could have spent the entire day touring with him and still wanted more. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend booking this tour—and be sure to ask for Miguel. He truly makes the experience unforgettable!
Very nice tour of both places. Good pace with a few breaks and opportunity to grab food/coffee. Would recommend.
It was a great tour. The guide was so knowledgeable. Very impressed with the whole morning and museum tour.
Our guide was so thorough and knew his art history! We really enjoyed the knowledge he imparted. He was funny when appropriate and kind to a family with young children. I recommend NOT bringing kids on this tour, though. It’s heavy on art and history. 12+ unless your young kiddo is really into it. Screaming toddlers don’t make for an enjoyable experience for others.
We were given a meeting place at the royal palace but viator changed the location. They gave no indication of the change in our text, the only way to know was to check comments but there was no way to know that there was a message. It cost us 40 euros in taxis as well as lost time. Our tour was supposed to start at ten but they told our tour guide 11:00. This was pretty frustrating and does not give me confidence in the other tours we’ve scheduled with viator. Thankfully our tour guide was wonderful and the tour of the Prado and royal palace was great.
Our tour guide Marta was excellent. Very patient and answered all the questions. This tour is great and we would highly recommend it.
Great tour of the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and detailed when providing the history of any of the items we were looking at. I recommend this tour to anybody visiting Madrid.
