Mysteries And Legends Tour Of Madrid

This was a wonderful way to see some lovely local sites and learn about their “hidden” stories! We had an excellent guide and it’s well worth it!

Javon provided a great tour which began at Plaza Mayor and ended near the Palacio Real. He kept the pace moving quickly and his tour was informative and entertaining.

my long awaited tour was cancelled right when I was about to leave my hotel to go to the meeting point. "not enough people responded" was the explanation meaning "we won't make a lot of money, just a little, and we reject it", right? very very not cool.... and to add insult to injury they have audacity to ask me to write a review!!! hmmmm, so how should I rate it? you tell me....

Had a fun filled tour with our guide, Jovan. Great historical knowledge with an effervescent, bubbly personality. The Monasterio del Corpus Christi is worth a try. Not what you’d expect. Engaging and entertaining.

Javon is very knowledgeable of the history of Madrid and Spain in general. He gave a very good historical overview as well as some fun tips and information about the city, where to eat and what to do. There were only five of us on the tour which I really appreciated after seeing very large tour groups all around the Plaza Mayor. He is a native English speaker which made it very easy to understand and converse with him.

Visited on advice from a different company about good tours in Munich and was very pleased, our guide was so well informed and friendly!

We are a family of 4. Two adult children and mom and dad. The tour guide spoke very slowly, and his English was challenging to understand. We’ve had several free tours throughout Europe now, and this is the only one we really did not enjoy much.

I have already done several tours with Todo Tours with different guides (the ones I remember are Lara for Malasaña and Chueca, with Zalo for La Latina and Lavapiés, and another with Irán, I think it was the Mysteries and Legends one) and they were all excellent!!! Very good guides, very professional, the tours full of details, stories, anecdotes!! I will definitely book with Todo Tours again!!

I did this tour over Christmas with the guide Lidia and was really surprised by the deep knowledge she has of the city. Absolutely recommended!

It’s not a very repetitious and boring little-documented experience, I’ve been on this type of visit in other cities and it’s been more interesting. I don't recommend it.

We did our guided tour in English. We had an excellent Cree Guide who was very friendly and had a good touch of humor. We learned a lot about Madrid from a historical point of view while discovering beautiful little squares where to eat. It’s a 2-hour ride, but we didn’t feel it. We could have continued another 2 hours without problem. We highly recommend this tour with Cris!

They gave me this tour with Oscar a month ago, and, I liked it so much, I repeated with my 15-year-old son, being lucky that he played us again with Oscar. My son also loved it, something difficult to get at this age. I think he's doing fantastically well. Catch your counting. Good free walking mini tour, we were a small group, there was an older adult so anyone can do it. Being a short tour, there is no time to take photos, and at that time it is full of the same tours, but they are all nearby places, so I recommend going through the same places again and looking for better angles for photos. Good guide, he spoke very clearly and had a small speaker so you could hear it well, ideal to leave a tip.

We did the tour with the guide Carmen and we really liked it. It wasn't long at all, despite going with some teenagers in our group. I would suggest, as a possible improvement, to try to connect a little with this type of young audience when they go on tours because they quickly disperse. I mean involving them a little in the tour, asking them some questions to keep their attention and having a couple of jokes that leave them amazed, of which there are many in the history of Madrid.
