Everyone who goes to Madrid can not miss visiting one of the most beautiful urban parks in Europe and UNESCO World Heritage. El Retiro is the natural lung of the capital of Spain, a large area destined until 100 years ago for the rest of the Royal Family. Plagued by unique buildings, statues and beautiful gardens, it has 19,000 trees of 167 different species. Inside there are unique works such as the Monument to Alfonso XII, the Crystal Palace, the Big Pond, the Parterre, the Puerta de Felipe IV, the Royal Astronomical Observatory, and even a Romanesque hermitage. El Retiro is also always a reference for legends and stories related to some of its monuments and sources. A park in which treasures have been found, and that has a secret guardian, a goblin that according to legend and did mischief in the time of Philip V. If you want to enjoy a unique park in the world, you can not miss this tour .
Alan was a great teacher for our first time Segway tour, and we are in our 60s! Great fun. He made the park a story as well as a garden to see. We would definitely go out with him again and highly recommend this adventure!!

Our guide, Felipe, was outstanding. He was patient, took pictures of us, spoke proficient English, extended our tour so we could get to everything (we have kids) for a nominal fee. It was our first time for the six of us to ride a Segway we loved and will be looking to participate in more tours with them. Excellent experience all around. Thanks, Felipe!
Though it was a hot day in Madrid, Felipe our tour guide was the best. He made it fun and entertaining. Very attentive by helping everyone take pictures and very informative about the history of the Parque de Retiro. If you get Felipe as your guide, ask him about Luna y Lorenzo. And tell him Ruben y Michelle said hello.
Our Segway tour guide Chris was great! We loved having her show us around the park. She did a great job explaining history of the park and how it’s used today. She also took loads of pics and videos. Such a fun way to see the park!

Very easy to learn. 10 year old granddaughter was so nervous at first and by the end asked to do another tour. Retiro Park is gorgeous!
Very nice and very accomodating. We booked our tour in the middle of sc heat wave. Magical tours called us ahead of time and offered to reschedule our tour later in the day to avoid the hotter part of the heat. Also, they kept this in the shade and provided water. Thank you very much. Tour is great excellent way to get around the park!!
We love segways! But our experience with this company was terrific in every way. Our guide was so enthusiastic about Retiro Park in Madrid and knowledgeable about the history and the plants and animals. He obviously loves the area and that energy came through to make our tour all the more enjoyable. It was beautiful and fun and I would encourage everyone with basic physical abilities to do the tour.

Let’s you see the main sights of the park swiftly including the animals, Peacocks, turtles, fish, black swans! Then afterwards you can go back to the bits you like to spend a bit more time.
I had never ridden a Segway before but Alan was a great teacher and an excellent guide. I had so much fun that I ended up extending my tour from just the park (which is gorgeous and a lovely ride) with a second hour touring Madrid. That part was a bit more exciting and challenging because you’re riding down the same roads as cars and pedestrians. If it’s your first time or if you have kids with you I’d recommend just sticking to the park but both were a blast

Really nice tour. José was a great tour guide. Nothing felt rushed and he suggested spots to take pictures and took pictures of me whenever I asked. It was a great way to highlight parts park of the park efficiently.
It was an entertaining and easy going tour for the whole family. Mine on a Saturday, December 27, 2025. The park is beautiful but crowded so compared to many other Segway tours I've done outside Spain, this one was a bit slow, some locals jogging in the park sometimes easily passed us by, but I understand they wanted to avoid any accidents. These segways were barebones, don't have any manual lock mechanism for when not riding, during the beginning, when the tour guide was prepping them, two of them ended, (not at the same time) moving forward by themselves, I was paying attention and caught one of them. Also before starting, the tour guide said he was going to stop at a specific photo friendly location for family pictures but he never did, when we asked him at the end, he said there were too many people so that's why he didn't, that they don't want any trouble with local authorities.

This was our first time on Segways and the guide was an excellent instructor; we were experts in no time. He did a great job showing our small group of five the highlights of Retiro Park, giving us history and plenty of time to check out the sights along the way. This was well worth it and I highly recommend this tour company and the experience.

This was a GREAT activity. We saw a lot of Retiro Park, and learned so much about its history. Miguel was wonderful. He spent time making sure all of us were comfortable on the segways (4 seniors—not so easy) and was so knowledgeable about everything we saw. Our only regret was not booking a longer ride! This was the highlight of our stay in Madrid!

We had an excellent day out in Retiro park. We rented Segway scooters and our guide Ale was our guide tour for one hour and a half. It’s easy to master ridding the scooters as we have ridden them for the first time.

This is the best way to view the park and it was so much fun. We visited all the important sites and our guide provided background information. First time riding a segway but I was able to master it in just minutes of practice.
Favourite part of the trip in terms of sightseeing! Great tour leader and loads of fun!!! Alan was guiding us through Retiro Park - he was very patient as we got the hang of the segways and made sure we were comfortable and going at a pace that worked for everyone. We were able to stop at various points and he was able to tell us lots of facts about the different parts of the park. The rose garden was beautiful as was the peacock gardens. It was a roasting hot day but we stopped in the shade and took routes out of the main sunlit paths. Recommend doing the tour in the morning as we went at 4pm and it was super hot. So much fun - thanks for the experience! Highly recommend!!!
On this trip you cover more distance than you can wander through on foot and then you can decide which areas to revisit. The tour does stop for time to explore at places like the peacock gardens and the rose garden. You learn so much from the tour guide. A lot of fun and the segway is easy to get comfortable operating.
I'm so glad we did this! After days of walking, we never would have been able to see even a fraction of the park, but we were able to cover a lot of ground on the Segways! The park was beautiful! The Segways were easy to learn and use.

It was a great time thanks to our guide Chris. It took about an hour to go through the massive park and get some history on the park and its monuments. This tour is ideal to get an overview to see where you’d like to come back and spend more time.

We are a family of 5 with three boys from 13 to 20 and they had so much fun! Our guide Miguel was incredibly welcoming, funny, and engaging which makes the tour that much more memorable. He also gave us great restaurant recommendations in the area! Communication with the company was fantastic and they worked with us to adjust our time to work around the rain and our delayed arrival from the airport. They are a well run company that is clearly focused on the customer!

Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable (Miquel-Michael) . The weather was an issue however. Off and on rain. Would like to have stopped at the Black Swans for a picture (just ride by) but overall it was still very good and we even learned how to ride a Segway without falling off.
