Madrid: Tuk Tuk Greatest Panoramic Tour + Local Guide + Pick Up

A great way to see parts of Madrid on a drive by tour with a few stops. I especially liked the flexibility of booking the option with pickup/drop off. Our guide made it easy to customize this this tour.

Lovely Louisa was very engaging and informative, and made our experience a great one. Would highly recommend as a good way to getting your bearings if its your first visit to Madrid.

It was a nice tour but a microphone and speaker would have been helpful. The Madrid traffic noise is very loud.

We arrived in Madrid as a last minute travel plan. We were there on Columbus Day which was a national holiday and many attractions were either sold out or closed for the day. We booked a last minute Tuk Tuk tour with Valentina and we were so glad we did! Due to a parade that day, Valentina was able to show us a lot of the city and maneuver around traffic to get us to many destinations. She was knowledgeable about life in Madrid and the various attractions. As we only had 24 hours in Madrid and had to catch a plane, this was the best way to get an overview of the city. We would not have seen as much of Madrid if not for Valentina and the Tuk Tuk tour! We enjoyed learning about the city from her and she was very engaging.

We had a wonderful experience with Maria Jose (MJ) our tour guide. MJ is verse in Spanish and English; she is knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. The Tuk Tuk tour takes you to the small streets of Madrid and to the most important spots. Ask for Maria Jose, she will take care of you

Our guide was excellent. He didn’t rush us and made sure we saw a lot of great places. The only issue was understanding him at times but when asked a question he always responded politely

Lovely and easy way to see the city. Our guide was knowledgeable, really jovial and although we had done the walking city tour, this still managed to cover some of the sites further away. We were given a couple of opportunities to get out of tuk tuk and wander around. It was lovely to feel the breeze as we drove around and I’m really glad we did it The only issue was we couldn’t hear everything, a microphone would have been useful especially as it was quite noisy around us

Frederick was so knowledgeable about the sights and history of Madrid, we learned more in two hours than we would have trying to see everything ourselves in a week!

We are only in Madrid for a couple of days, so this was a great way to see as much as possible in a short period of time. Valentina our guide was exceptional. Very knowledgeable friendly and a great person to show you around the city.

A very good way to get an close up view and insight into the various areas of interest. Significantly a more informative and personal option to the Hop On Hop Off Bus. Our driver Domenica was very knowledgeable and had a great personality which made it an enjoyable 2 hours.

Do no use this company because if there is a problem they don't want to know about it. We booked our tour with them through Viator, and it was clearly advertised as being available at the time we booked. The day before the company contacted us to let us know that there was a marathon being run and could we do it later. We agreed and met with the driver later that day, but it was clear that the marathon was still running. So instead of cancelling, the driver took us anyway and she tried to make the best of it- but it was hopeless. Most roads were closed so the driver drove around around in circles through constant traffic jams trying to get to things. We spent 30mins stuck in a traffic jam in an underground tunnel, that was an extremely unpleasant experience breathing in truck fumes, stuck in the tunnel. We were unable to get to see all the advertised sites and it was a horrible time. Afterwards, when we contacted both Viator and the taxi company asking for a refund given that the service had not been provided, and in fact was a horrible experience, there was a refusal and they claimed that it wasn't their fault and that the driver had got us to all the sites. This was definitely not true. After much emailing back in forth we were eventually offered a repeat tour, but it was days later and we had already left Madrid. No refund was offered. This trip cost us over $350 AUD for myself and my husband, and was a total disaster. Additionally, the yellow tuk tuk was uncomfortable, with very narrow leg room at the front and an awning so low that you can't see out unless you are quite short. The driver did not use a microphone, so we couldn't hear much of what was said due to the traffic noise around us. We noticed that there are other companies with more comfortable looking tuk tuks running these tours, so shop around and try another company. You'd be much better on the hop on hop off bus to get up above the traffic. Additionally, I won't use Viator again to book with anyone, as when there is a problem, they wash their hands of it.  So buyer beware- if it goes well all may be good- but this company does not take any responsibility for unsatisfactory service.

Difficult to understand commentary during Tuk Tuk Tour. No background on historical sites, neighborhoods, etc.

The ride was fun. We saw all the sights. Our original driver did not show up. Im still not sure what happened but luckily there was a driver from the same company idling nearby. He arranged to take us. David was lovely, with a great personality, and very accommodating. .

We loved the experience we were able to see most of the historic or traditional history of Madrid. The guide Miguel was very professional, pleasant and knowledgeable…we could tell he loves the history of Madrid , he is very passionate about it and that made the experience more worthwhile…we are very pleased about his service

Raphael was an excellent guide and driver. New vehicle, not yet painted yellow. He was prompt, friendly, learned our names, taught us some history and was very interested in our journey. He answered our questions and asked a lot of good ones as well. Highly recommend him as a driver / guide.

Its a really good way to orient around the city at the start of a trip. Even though it was wet we managed to stay quite dry and get a lot done

Nice to get into all the small roads and really see the town. Wish the tour guides were originally from Spain. Have solid basic knowledge, but nothing super in depth

Wow! This tour was brilliant!!! The perfect way to see Madrid. Valentina was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend doing this when you first get to Madrid then you can go back to the places you loved and spend more time exploring!

Great introduction to Madrid. Highly recommend. We walked across the city on our first day. The tour, on our second day helped us cover more ground and understand the layout of the city. Tour guide was fun and knowledgeable.

Tour and guide were good but Turk Turk not suited for good viewing. Rolled plastic sides in the way for viewing. Did a similar TOUR in Lisbon no issue as seats were lower and you could see.

New visitors to Madrid should jump on this tour as it shows you all the important sites and familiarizes you with the city neighborhoods and layout. The tuk tuk is a fun way to travel the city. Excellent tour of Madrid, seeing all the main sights with interesting and informative narrative from Miguel. I would have given a 5* rating but unfortunately it was raining & cold, so we couldn't get out to have a closer look at some of the sights, but not Miguel's fault, just unlucky with the weather.

Our tour with guide Fredrick was excellent, his knowledge was exceptional. On the history of Madrid and the architecture of the city. It was also the perfect activity for a rainy day.

Miguel did a great job. Very knowledgeable. He took us through the old capital and the new. He was also flexible with our needs.

We learned so much on our 2 hr tour that helped us understand the flow of the city, important landmarks and some history. Our tour guide Louise was super helpful pointing out her favorite places and ticket info etc.

A pretty efficient way to get a quick introduction to the city. Had a chance to do a quick visit to a few sights too. The guide assigned to us bailed at the last minute. We had to wait for 30mins to get a replacement guide - Josue from Neptune Holidays. He was entertaining and fun. He struck us as someone who was really passionate about his job and enjoyed introducing the city sights to us. Overall, we had a great time.

Excellent and informative way of seeing the city. The tuk tuk takes you along alleyways where tour buses cannot go. I would recommend it.

The tour guide explained Madrid very well. He also took special care to accommodate requirements for our 1 year old daughter to be comfortable on the tuk tuk with a car seat. Also took some good pictures!
