Amanda was my tour guide for both El Retiro Park and the Prado. As a guide she is expert in bothe the park and the Prado and provides engaging story telling in these two very different venues. I am very glad I booked tours. I had wandered around the Prado a few days earlier which was a good thing to do. On my own I absorbed some of what I was seeing while the tour provides focus on the masterpieces of the Prado.

It is located in the Retiro Park, it used for water shows, such as naval battles and boat rides of the kings and their court.
A beautiful palace, with a combination of iron and glass and lots of light coming through its walls.
You will walk along the Paseo del Prado observing all its beauty.
Is the meeting point for the beginning of the visit to the Prado Museum. It is a Spanish sculpture dedicated to the Aragonese painter Francisco de Goya.

Amanda was a great guide. 1) Change the print of the meeting place.Simple, entrance to the park! 2) should have been clear at the time of booking that the park tour is at 10am and the museum tour at 4:15pm !!!
Rocio was great, very knowledgeable and gave us a good feeling for Madrid and art. Give Rocio a raise.
the guide was exceptional - Benito was very knowledgable about art and truly loved what he was talking about
Our tour guide was Sergio, he was awesome! He’s history and art knowledgable giving us a detailed description on every stop we made in the park and in the museum as well. I had a great time and will def use this company’s services again.
We enjoyed our tour of Retiro Park. It was very nice The Prado part of the tour however was disappointing because with the crowds (and other tours looking at the same selection of paintings) it was often hard to see the artwork. And although our guide was very nice and informative we did not hear a lot of what she said either because of the lack of “whispers” earphones that other tours seem to provide. With the crowd and acoustics etc it was hard to hear her unless you were standing right next to her.
I recently booked with IBE for tours of the Prado Museum and Retiro Park. Our guide Rocio was AMAZING!! She had incredible historical knowledge, was so thoughtful in her anecdotes, and made both experiences wonderful. She was passionate about explaining so much history of Madrid and Spain, I can't imagine having a better guide. Definitely recommend!!!!
Excellent experience with this tour. Very knowledgeable guides who took the time going one level deeper than superficial overview. Great coverage of the attractions.
We only got to see the park, which was great. We did not get to the museum. The gap between the park and the English language Prado tour was too great, and not clear in the description beforehand.
Our tour guide Rocio was amazing. She knew so much about the art, and it was magical to listen. She showed us many different art works and talked at length about each one. El Retiro park tour (with a different tour guide) was not so informative. You are better off skipping the guided tour and just enjoying the park yourself.
The Prado tour and El Retiro Park tours were both great but the transition between them was awful. it was really two separate tours After Prado, the tour guide pointed us to El Retiro park and told us to look for another guide there. There was not set starting time to leave on the second tour, so we stood with tour guide for 30+ minutes "in case anyone else arrives". I would do these as separate tours with separate starting times so you don't stand around waiting. Usually, tours start within 5 minutes of the starting time regardless of whether everyone is there or not. But with separate guides and separate starting times, the transition between the two tours was a mess.
This is a great tour. The tour guide was excellent. She loves what she do and she have very knowledge about the art. The Prado museum is the must see ! After the tour of the Prado we meet other tour guide for El Retiro Park, He was also so wonderful, very nice and very helpful. Great place to relax just like the name of the park.

The guide was very funny in his explanations. Great experience in ths wonderful museum!!

Beautiful, clean city, a bit chaotic but well served by public transport, with 10 metro lines, etc. It would take 10 days to visit properly, unfortunately I only had 4 days. A great hotel, HARTIEM, with a fantastic director and staff, a 4-star hotel that is worth every bit; plus, they offer free beer, juices, sandwiches, pastries, a coffee machine, and herbal teas 24/7. This had never happened to me before. I wholeheartedly recommend it. A bit in the northwest suburbs. But with very close public transport options.
Our guide was Sarah and we did the guided tour of the Del Prado Museum. It was excellent the visit by the great guide we had. He conveyed a lot of information to us in a pleasant and passionate way. Really all 10 points.
Bad experience. When I booked the tour it said it lasted 5 hours: guided tour Retreat Park + Del Prado Museum. Arriving at 10:00 am to the meeting point tells us the guide (with very bad attitude and high-handedness) that it will be 1.5 hours at that time only park of the retreat and the visit to the museum will be until 4:00 pm. We had a reservation to eat just after the 5 hrs that the tour marked so we requested to visit the museum before. There was no way to move the visit to the museum, they would not refund our money and we had to buy other tickets
The guide very friendly and cultured. I explain a lot about the works of the Museum, it was an enriching experience. Pity you can't take pictures inside
Reuben, the Guide, very didactic and friendly with a great knowledge of art and also history. I liked the system: some pictures (the + representative) are explained for a while (2h30) and then general explanations are given so that tourists who want to go freely where they are interested. The only thing that did NOT convince me was that the majority of Guides (minus mine) wore a microphone and headphones which allowed greater freedom of movement to the tourists and better listening to the explanations of the guide because everyone listened to the information with headphones. The Prado is crowded and there are times when you can hear absolutely nothing no matter how hard the Guide tries to raise his voice.
Excellent service!! The guide Beni made the experience wonderful, very professional and passionate about art, congratulations!!
We really enjoyed the visit, and the anecdotes and detailed explanations that our guide Ismael provided us. It was a little short, but we were able to continue on our own afterwards.
A very pleasant learning and entertainment experience. Guide Andrea, an excellent communicator, with extensive knowledge. Great enjoyment on this occasion. All the fast procedures, timely suggestions, finally a very enjoyed walk.
Our guide, Ishmael, made it very easy for us. Open to our requests and with entertaining and entertaining explanations. 100% recommended.
I loved the guided tour we were given. Good thing, because the Prado is an immense museum and you easily get lost among so many works. It was a very pleasant visit and we learned a lot.
Whether it is worth visiting the Prado Museum with the guide. Not only that there is no wait to enter, everything became easy for us from the movement in the Museum to works to focus on. We started at Retiro Park, Alex was sensational in his speeches, obviously if you know them all😊 he could comment on plant species and architecture.
Muchas gracias.
Rocio , the guide very sympathetic and we really liked how he explained the pictures. It wasn't boring and it was very didactic. It is definitely recommended. Looking forward to returning to the Prado!! At the booking level they helped us a lot from their headquarters. Highly recommended
They are a great team of professionals, the guide explained it very well. Everything very well organized and I was lucky to enjoy it in good weather. In short, everything perfect. Thank you!!!
