Wonderful experience cooking and eating! Fun group and great atmosphere!
It was a great time and the staff, especially the main teacher was amazing! Definitely would do again!
Great time. Enjoyed it a lot! Chef and Kevin were top notch.
Very friendly crew and Best chef from London. 😇🙏🏻 Very well explained, and I picked up a few tips. Fancy Location
The host and Chef were great! We enjoyed the cooking class with our kids ages five and eight. We were a little misled by the menu as we aren’t huge seafood fans and we thought there would be a chicken option on the paella. But overall, it was very enjoyable and we would definitely do it again.
This was a fun cooking class for our family; especially loved the details of making Paella and look forward to trying to replicate at home.
Sasha and Chef Antonio made our cooking class a wonderful and enjoyable event. Tons of fun, met new people and enjoyed tasty creations. Definitely would recommend.
We had 24 hours in Madrid and decided to join this cooking class. We couldn’t have spent our limited time any better! We met great people, had wonderful conversations, learned so much about the regional food, drinks and customs and ate a delicious meal with new friends. I couldn’t recommend this excursion more and a big “thank you” to Foodie and the crew.
We were told at the beginning of the class that the recipes would be emailed to us, we didn't have to take notes, but they never sent the recipes.
Such a fun experience with my daughter. The hosts and other attendees were fantastic. Highly recommend.
Luis & Georgia were wonderful. The group was small and we all got to participate in making the sangria, paella and churros. Fun and yummy class. I highly recommend.
The host was so knowledgeable and friendly, and provided history details in both English and Spanish. Our group was small enough to be able to participate in every step and we conversed freely. The chef was great too and most importantly, the food was amazing!! Chef’s kiss!
I had a great time. Great food and atmosphere. Definitely worth trying!
Tatyana and Antonio were great. They explained everything and were very personable. The class was very hands on and interactive. The Sangria, Paella, and Churros were delicious.
Great hosts/instructors, spacious dining and work space with bathrooms, all very clean! Dish was great, I learned a lot. I highly recommend this booking. Just for awareness, this activity is on the second floor. Host was great, he assisted my elderly mom as she slowly navigated the single flight of stairs....she did great and it was totally worth it.
This cooking class was so much fun. First we had cheese and wine while we chatted with the other people in the class. Then Brooks showed us how to make a traditional sangria. Then we went into the kitchen with Andres and learned how to make seafood paella with squid and prawns. While the paella was cooking we learned how to make churros. Brooks and Andres made the class so much fun. Would definitely recommend it!!
Fantastic activity to share with family and friends, learning something new while enjoying great food.
Fantastic, informative and fun. We had a great time. I highly recommend. Easy to understand and great way to learn about Spanish culture.
Dominique and Kevin was fabulous
This was such a fun cooking class. Loved learning about the dishes and the importance of the ingredients for the dishes. The instructors get everyone involved in the cooking process.
Great experience, learnt so much and super friendly guides! Loved the experience.
This was amazing. 5 stars does not sufficiently describe how great this experience was. It deserves atleast 6 or even 7 stars. Our host Brooks was bussin and our chef Kevin was single ladies. Overall, would pay to cook my own food again
Excellent experience! They were very knowledgeable and friendly
We enjoyed this experience. The host was fantastic and made everyone feel welcome. For me there was not enough involvement and the chef didn’t seem that interested overall. Everyone has a little bit of chopping for paella although I had to share this with my son, despite him paying full price. Sangria was good but there wasn’t enough really. Churros were made without the group being present. No explanation of sauce. Portions weren’t that big. I don’t want this to sound all bad. We had a good time and met some interesting people. It was just a bit expensive for a family of four with limited amount of paella (2 prawns each) and sangria. Host was very engaging. With a bit of tweaking, this could be amazing.
The paella and churros class was extremely fun and simple. For us it was a relaxing lunch to learn how to make some delicious food and drinks. Our host Brooks in particular kept everything light and fun as well as gave some great recommendations around Madrid while waiting for some cook times! Would recommend.
So friendly and hospitable! Thank you again!
Had a great time during this class with Brooks and Antonio. Both made the class very enjoyable and hands on. Our group was a mix of a family, a couple, and a solo traveler and it was fun for everyone. Would highly recommend to anyone and the food and drinks were fantastic
The crew was great and the instructions were very clear and encouraging. I would do this again the next time I'm in Madrid.
Excellent experience and food we learn with others. We loved the experience. Brooks and Anthonio were excellent to help and direct us. We ate an excellent paella and churros as well as drank sangria we made. I recommend this experience.
Great afternoon with a great bunch of people.
Amazing experience Sasha and Adrian!! Such amazing hosts and perfect for family with small kids. Kids got to cook and prepare their favourite churros!! Recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience.
Very informative and pleasant course. Good food and vibes. The version of paella they teach is definitely possible for making at home.
Loved every minute! The experience and instructor were incredible and spoke great English with wonderful advice about the city!
The entire experience was amazing from start to finish! We got there a little early because we absolutely did not want to be late and were fully prepared to wait outside… but they let us in about 20 minutes early, which was AMAZING because August in Spain is not for the weak! And it wasn’t just because we made it but the food was SO delicious! The paella, sangria, and churros all came out amazing, and it was such a fun experience actually getting to make everything ourselves. Our host and chef were both so sweet, welcoming, and patient. They explained everything so well and answered every question we had. You could really tell they wanted everyone to have a great time. It was also so close to the Metro and was straight shot from our hotel. Definitely worth it and something I would absolutely recommend while in Madrid!
It was a great way to spend an afternoon in Madrid learning about the food and culture of Spain. Our group included a family with young kids, two adult women with their moms, and a couple of grad students. Everyone really enjoyed preparing and eating the food. Oh, the sangria was great too, not to mention the churros and chocolate!
Great Paella experience. The class was interesting and useful. We plan on trying to make this at home when we get back. The chef Kevin was very personable and knowledgeable about the history and preparation of paella.
Luis and Kevin were incredible, amazing environment and value for money, learnt alot and made delicious Sangria, Paella and Churros. Would highly recommend!
Amazing experience! The food was excellent and very easy to make! The class was very engaging and enjoyable. Highly recommended this cooking class!
I loved my experience! I met great people so don’t be afraid to show up solo! Both chefs were amazing, kind, and patient! I had a great time!
Great experience and way to make new friends!
The experience was amazing and definitely worth the money and time
Awesome class awesome cook the people were amazing the best part is they give you a cue card afterwards to replicate all of the recipes.
The venue was easy to find and the host and chef were very nice and helpful, lovely people. The area was spacious, clean, and very well organized. The instructions included all the people in each group and the food was amazing. 11/10
