Chef was knowledgeable and personable. Prepped food looked and smelled fresh. Great direction and encouragement as we made beverages and meal. I have a shellfish allergy: attention to detail and avoiding cross contamination was crucial. Learning about the history of the ingredients and making the meal was great!

Very informative as well as good food. Also served our choice of drinks and two delicious tapas. Liked that we got the recipes.
Absolutely amazing experience! Learning to make authentic paella and sangria was an absolute highlight of our trip. The staff Pedro and Tony were fun, engaging, and super helpful throughout the class. The food turned out incredible, and the atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish. Highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Madrid!
We had Pedro as our "guide" and he was a lot of fun, and super informative (brief history lesson)! We talked, we laughed. A must do!
We had a wonderful and especially enjoyed meeting our host Tony. He has a great personality and taught us not only how to make the most amazing paella and sangria but a lot of history as well. Would highly recommend!
Pedro was a fabulous instructor, assisted by Yirelis. Pedro covered the histories and traditions of paella and sangria, what makes each special, and offered some expert tips. He made sure we each participated in creating both. The snacks were great. Couldn’t be happier. I recommend this!
Wonderfully fun experience! Sangria and paella were delicious! Enjoyed meeting others in our group. Highly recommend.
Awesome! Great drinks food and company
Amazing host, Tony was very knowledgeable about Madrid and the origins of Sangria and Paella. Would definitely recommend. Learned lots and had a wonderful experience!
We had a great time! Fun to learn how to make paella. Hands on and delicious!
Great fun! Good food! Good drinks! Presentation was great and we all participated in the cooking. Good staff and nice facility.
We had a great time learning about and making the sangria and paella. Or two hosts were fun and knowledgeable.
It was just so fun . The people who had attended were great we all talked about where we came from . Food and Sangria was excellent . Our host was fantastic and very funny .
Great food and drinks! Guide was the best. Highly recommend!
An amazing experience! So well done. Unfortunately I don’t remember our teacher’s name (a French guy with perfect Spanish and very good English) was great. Lots of energy. The food was surprisingly good, not just the paella. Quality ingredients, and delicious seasonings. I would absolutely recommend this.
Booked this on the day itself, just 3 hours before the class — wouldn’t recommend it since you might not get a slot, but it worked out for me. Honestly, I just didn’t want to think about what to eat for dinner, wanted to learn something new, and thought it’d be a bonus if I met some cool people along the way. All three happened. The class was well-run and organised, no complaints. The paella was so good. And the group had such great energy, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re a solo traveller who enjoys cooking, just go for it — but book ahead, don’t do what I did.
Tony taught the paella and sangria making class. He was professional, engaging, funny and taught us about the history and culture of Spain it was fantastic! I would totally do knit again and would highly recommend it. The food turned out amazing and the sangria as well as all the wines shared were great!

This was such a wonderful way to connect with the flavors of Madrid. Instead of just following a recipe, we learned the stories behind the ingredients and the rich history of the dish itself. It truly felt like a culinary journey. Perfect for anyone who wants an educational and heartfelt cooking experience.
We really enjoyed this cooking class. We each had the opportunity to make our own sangria to our liking and learning different variations and alternative ingredients that can be used. Instructors were thorough with the explanation of the cooking process and shared the history of paella. The paella was absolutely delicious, we also had small bites that included the traditional tortillas to patatas, my favorite!
What an amazing experience. Everything about this was top notch Tony was exceptional. Great Food and amazing Sangria Thank you Tony for an amazing experience ❤️🥂
This experience could not have been better! Go hungry! Starting with drinks was perfect and so fun. I loved learning about the history of everything and getting to help make it with our super fun group. Our guide was simply the best. Definitely recommend.
Very friendly and cooperative. Interesting to learn about the history and process.
Tony was so fun and the lesson was awesome! Thank you for the great experience! Highly recommend!
We made the best sangria and delicious paella. We had a great time
Such a fun evening! It was a great balance of learning to cook an authentic paella, finding out about it’s origins, and having a good laugh with others. Food and Sangria were fab and Tony our tutor / chef was fantastic at keeping us all engaged and involved, and not minding any of our questions.
It was fantastic. Our guide Tony was extremely engaging and knowledgeable. Lots of great information, both historical and culinary based. Highly recommend.
Excellent Pedro was an awesome host. the food was amazing!!!! we had a great time learning by about the food and culture of spain.
We found the location a bit of a challenge to find so bake in some buffer time. But once you’re there the room are comfortable, the staff great and the instruction well communicated. We download the recipes for paella and sangria and look forward to showing off our new skills with friends at home
Amazing experience The class, ambiance, food, service and attention to detail are out of this world. Definitely recommend this class to anyone in Madrid.
Perfect activity for bachelor party. Anthony was our chef, he was amazing and funny! He also speaks 4 languages so its quite practical.
Tony was amazing. So much fun!
This is a class good for people who like to drink. The kids made a non-alcoholic version of sangria. We had a good time learning about making seafood paella. Indoor setting.
If you’re looking for a unique fun activity, with limited cooking skills needed, this is for you. Pedro made this experience special for our family, ages 25-70. And the Sangria is amazing!
Tony was a phenomenal and engaging teacher. We laughed and learned so much. This was the highlight of our time in Madrid.
This was by far the best cooking experience we have done on a trip! Tony was very attentive and information and fun. Pedro took really great care of us as well! In total we had a group of 5 (3 of my family and couple from Italy). We all pitched in a cooked really delicious seafood paella and a chicken paella. It took us a minute to navigate to find the place since Apple maps did not clarify the location is in a building but we allowed plenty of time to get there. Highly recommend and my 20-something daughters enjoyed the class as well. If I ever come back to Madrid, I would do this again!
Wonderful night making paella with Yirelis! She taught us not only how to make the dish but the history. We also made sangria and we enjoyed a couple tapas. Such a fun evening!
The class was very informative and fun. I learned enough to go home and make paella myself. It was very difficult to find. It would help if the directions were updated to be more clear.
Great experience. Knowledgeable staff. Pretty hands on. Learned tons especially how to get the crispy rice
Quite good, a really well organised venue, a little light weight with regards to the cooking with prep completed prior and just a bit of chopping & stirring by participants really. Great recipe for sangria & everyone appeared happy!
The guide was knowledgeable, funny and the paella turned out delicious. We also learned about how to make sangria.
Excellent class, very hands on and food was fantastic! Nice small group and fun to meet other travelers.. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing experience. The team was super engaging and encouraging to novice cooks like us to make paella.
So wonderful The teachers were so delightful and the crowd was wonderful. Learned a lot and laughed so much. Totally recommend!!
One of our favorite experiences on this trip! We had a small, but great group. The King of Paella kept it very engaging. This is just the right amount of hands on cooking, learning and eating & drinking. We can’t wait to try making our own paella at home.
Great experience! Our hosts, Yire and Pedro were awesome. A fun time, lots of Sangria, paella was delicious! It was a lot of fun. Highly recommend
Fun evening of cooking and enjoying the food for dinner! The experience was as described and enjoyed by our family.
