Madrid: Historical & Modern Tour With Local Guide In Tuk-tuk

Josue was a great guide. Very friendly and outgoing. He took us around to so many neat places. There was a glitch with our pickup but he filled in and did an awesome job!

The tuk tuk was initially a little difficult to find but when we located it we had a really enjoyable experience. Miguel was an excellent guide. Would recommend doing this tour early in your trip as it helped us to navigate the city.

We booked a 90-minute tour with the Yellow Tuk-Tuk group on Viator on a recent visit to Madrid. The driver was running a few minutes late for our scheduled time but called me to let me know, which was outstanding, it also allowed me to reconfirm our exact pickup spot! The King was visiting the city on this particular day so there were many main thoroughfares closed during our tour. Our Guide, Frédéric, did an excellent job of navigating the back streets to keep our tour moving. Frédéric was also a master Guide, pulling over several times to make sure he had time to share the detailed history behind a number of landmarks. He engaged in conversation with us and gladly answered our questions and queries. We had been on other Tuk-Tuk tours before and enjoyed them. But this tour was something special. Frédéric's engagement with us truly elevated the experience to the next level. The Viator Tuk-Tuk tours are highly recommended in general and if you have a chance to book the Yellow Tuk-Tuk's, you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I live in Madrid, and we booked this tour for my mum, who was visiting us from the United States. Our driver, David, was friendly, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. He was also incredibly helpful and attentive to my mum, making sure she was comfortable throughout the tour. Even as Madrid residents, we were surprised by how much we still had to learn about the city’s history. David shared many interesting facts and stories that gave us a deeper appreciation of Madrid. He also recommended several restaurants around the city, which was a lovely bonus. My mum thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and so did we. David made the experience informative, enjoyable, and memorable. Highly recommended!

Our guide Louisa was wonderful! She took us for an hour tour to give us a snapshot of Madrid. Wish we would’ve gone for the longer tour but she made the most of our time together!

This is a great experience for your first day in Madrid. We are a family of three and heard of the different areas of Madrid and where we may want to go for the rest of our week long stay. Louisa was a great guide and shared alot of anecdotal info in addition to the general geography.

Great intro to Madrid and our guide was fun but also had substantial knowledge of the history of Spain. I definitely recommend doing this as your intro to the city.

Our guide Louisa was great. The Tuktuk itself was not. Floor was very high forcing you to seat with knees bent at unnatural angle. It made us so high in the vehicle the roof pillars blocked our view. Also, plastic sheeting was dirty so couldn’t see things in front of us through the roof. Only reason I gave this 4 stars is I don’t want it to be negative for the guide. If not for the guide, I would give this 1 star.

It wasn't the best tour, the tuk tuk ride was ok but we couldn't hear or understand the tour guide. Had no idea where we were going to next and most of the historical facts not conveyed properly.

We hit all the highlights of the city. It was a super cold day & our guide had blankets for us. She was great but just a bit difficult to understand everything she was saying given her accent

Good driver as well as guide. We had the chance to see most of the Madrid hidden streets and plazas. From Malasena to Salamanca ee saw everywhere. The driver guided us in the cathedral as well.

Carlos made our ride interesting. Punctual and managed the ride well, sharing interesting stories and facts on the monuments. Vehicle was clean. Great value.

Fabulous! So glad we chose this tour. It's great for all ages, especially for those who cannot walk all day to sight see. David was an excellent tour guide. While it was very hot, he put shades on the ceiling of the tuk tuk so the sun wasn’t beating down on us and also stopped to buy us beverages. He let us stretch our legs a few times throughout the trip and took group pictures. He also dropped us off at our hotel rather than the original meeting place which saved us time and an Uber. Would highly recommend this tour and ask for David!

Maria Jose was our guide and she on time & absolutely wonderful - we enjoyed our tour very much & highly recommended this option to go around Madrid rather than on foot. It was a hot day so the breeze from the open vehicle was lovely! We made several stops where we got out, walked a little (at the park & rose garden) and she took our group pictures.

Get your cameras out! This tour was an absolute must in my opinion. Upon arrival and hotel check in, my husband and I ventured out to meet our guide. Our guide was amazing, he explained everything so well. It gives you a good feel of your surroundings and things you’d like to visit on foot during your stay. This was a very valuable experience

We had a very short time in Madrid. This Tuk Tuk tour was a perfect way to get a feel of the culture and history of the city. Jose was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. His English was also fantastic. You could tell he was passionate about the history of Madrid and provided really interesting historical context to all of the stops.
