Carmen brought real zest to the Madrid tapas and wine tour, drawing on her life in the old town and her professional sommelier expertise to make every stop engaging. She was knowledgeable and entertaining, and her stories about her Basque roots added a personal touch to the experience. Her detailed explanations, examples, and metaphors made the food and wine easy to appreciate. With Carmen as our guide, the evening was a lively and delicious introduction to Madrid’s local flavors.

This tour was the perfect start to our Madrid trip. We took the night tour and it was perfect because the city was bustling, and you could experience the energy of a big city through its streets and tastes. The amount of food and drinks you get is equivalent to a full dinner, but walking around like a local. Noemí was SO knowledgeable and gave us so many tips of local bars and places with so much history. We tasted chipirones, tortilla de patatas, tuna toast (My favorite!) and a curated slew of Spanish favorites delicacies. It’s all tapas, so don’t expect sit down dinners, but again, this is the perfect way to welcome yourself into this worldly metropolis. Be ready to walk, be in somewhat crowded places, and have a great variety of wines and drinks. It is a MUST here in Madrid. Don’t miss it and Salud!

This tour made me uncomfortable - we were pressured to all download the Trip Advisor app and give a review at the table of the last restaurant with the guide asking if we completed it yet many times, and then also pressured to tip which is not customary.
