So much fun. Very informative and delicious. Would definitely recommend. We ended up late because of the national holiday parade traffic, and they were very accommodating, starting our omelet so we could pick it up when we got there with everyone else.

A very fun and delicious class. It’s a really nice space and the instructors keep everything moving so that by the end you have a complete meal. They also keep refilling the wine and play great music. A highlight of our trip.
I had fun and learned some good techniques that I can and will be using. I loved the garlic bread, especially.
Beni gave a good history and cooking lesson. The Cava was nice and learning the proper ingredients and techniques to make this traditional dish was a good break.
Great class. Food was great and instructor easy to follow.
Benny our chef was great, he walked us through all the steps. All the ingredients were set out and he guided us every step. So excited to have learned how to make some of my favorite Spanish dishes. He kept the Bellinis going which was also fun and played good music.
Came for the cooking, stayed for Beni’s jokes! He was an amazing instructor, super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the class so much fun from start to finish. My family and I learned so much, the food was delicious, and the whole experience was so well organized. I’d do it all over again. Definitely a 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend it!
This was hands down one of our favorite parts of our trip! My friend and I booked the Spanish omelette class as I’m a vegetarian—she’s not, so they made sure to cater her recipes to what she would eat and mine to what I can eat! Very thoughtful. The instructor, Javi, was fantastic. Really knowledgeable, very personable and a great chef. He also gave us names of restaurants and cocktail bars to try which we appreciated! I have since made a Spanish omelette for my Madrid hosts and one for my husband back home in US and it’s been a hit both times! So the class was clearly not just fun but also a success.
Benny was awesome! He showed us how to make a Spanish omelet and it was delicious. He also made sure that our glasses of cava were always full and that everyone was having fun! He was also very accommodating and careful with one member of our family who has a nut allergy, which we greatly appreciated!
Beni made cooking tortilla de batata so much FUN! I don’t like to cook but he made it easy and he walked us through every step. We, also, made a delicious sweet-savory snack with “sobrasada”(?), which even *I* could do again! Thank you, Beni!
Fabulous experience with Benjamin. Highly recommend
Excellent & fun! Well thought out & prepared making the actual cooking easy but not used up chopping veggies.
Sooooo much fun!!! We made other things besides the Spanish omelet and all were delicious! Our instructor was Bennie and he was fantastic! We cooked in a beautiful kitchen and then went downstairs to enjoy our meal in an old (over 100 yrs) restored basement. The experience was so much more than we expected. Absolutely loved it!
We had a great time making tapas and a Spanish omelette but also learned about some Spanish culture.
Great experience in a modern but historical restored building. Easy to understand and the food was delicious.
Great class with easy to understand directions and a very clean and modern space in a historic building.
Fun time with our teens, would recommend if you have time in Madrid! Benji was fun and made the class very approachable for all.
SUCH a great class! Javi is a wonderful teacher and did especially well with the kids in our group - including my 8-year-old nephew who doesn't usually prepare food. ☺️ The whole family had a blast and truly enjoyed the experience!
The brunch class was highly interactive and super fun. Benito greeted us immediately with a drink and continued the hospitality throughout the class. The food we made was simple, repeatable and delicious.
The operators of the class were so wonderful. I was actually the only person registered for my class so they reached out to see if I wanted to continue alone or if my schedule allowed for a change. Luckily I could be flexible so I ended up in Paella Passion later that afternoon. I’m so glad that worked out that way .this class is definitely meant to be a community activity. I was a solo traveler and I got to meet and spend a couple of hours with some wonderful people. Not to mention, the instruction, setting, tools, technique and food was OUTSTANDING! I can’t recommend this enough. If you have a couple of extra hours in your travel, please consider doing one of their classes.
This looks like a great cookery course and we still consider booking it next time we are in Madrid. However, when we turned up, we found out it was not taking place as they had booked a private event. The staff were lovely and it was obvious from their reactions that it was a genuine mistake. We had no other free time in our trip to go back so we got a full refund. They did not question the refund although I did have to apply for it through Viator myself, but maybe that's how the process works. We were very disappointed. We understand human errors occur but the vendor is responsible for the calendar of courses they sell through Viator and must also surely receive reminders from Viator of the bookings they have. How else do they plan what ingredients to buy? I would book again but I would contact them beforehand to ensure that there will be no repeat.
We try and go to cooking classes in most cities we visit. This was lovely. Our lead chef, Javier, was kind and welcoming and took us through all the steps needed to produce an excellent lunch. Throughly enjoyable. Completely recommend.
Not your usual cooking class.. only a couple dishes made but very good and enjoyable. Staff were excellent.
This was a wonderful experience. We learned how to prepare Spanish tortilla and pan de tomate, all while sipping on bottomless cava. The chefs Benny and Javi were very patient and were able to guide a cooking novice like me into making a delicious meal. I would recommend this class to anyone visiting Madrid and who wants to familiarize themselves with Spanish cuisine.
It was a lot of fun and the food we prepared was amazing. Our hostess was great and an excellent instructor. My only complaint was that we were the only group there and it would have been nice to have other guests to interact with. We recognize most tourists want to make paella however the Tortilla Class was the bomb!!
Jaime was the best! He greeted us at the door and offered us something to drink right away. He explained every part of the process and gave us some nice tips. Our glasses were never empty! He was very knowledgeable in cooking and in Spanish history! If we come back to Madrid, I will definitely do this again!
This class was a great experience. The employees were professional and fun to work with. It wasn’t a lot of prep work but we did the actual cooking. The champagne was a nice addition.
This is a really fun, high energy, cooking class. We really liked it because it was about two hours and so we had the rest of the day to see more of Madrid. The team was patient with us and showed us new techniques for cooking Spanish food. With a little bit of history and trivia thrown in.
It was great learning how to cook a classic Spanish omelette while the drinks were flowing! Highly recommend anyone who likes to cook or eat great course
Our chef Haime was incredible. He was very easy to understand. He was a joy. Always had a smile on his face. Joyful and 💕💕💕😊
We absolutely loved this class! It was in a beautiful location, the teachers were kind, fun and excellent! It was well organized and the cava was flowing :)
This was so great. I took a new group for a team building and it was really fun. We got to socialize, cook and eat what we cooked together. It is a fantastic experience and a really great idea.
We LOVED our experience at The Cooking Clubhouse! It exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and more than we thought we were going to have. Our glasses were never empty! I was especially happy with how they made everything vegetarian for me. I also loved the decor of the Clubhouse. It was beautiful and clean. I highly recommend this experience! We booked another experience before we left because it was so good!
All of my experiences at the cooking school were great if I ever get back to Madrid I will look for them specifically. The setup is very professional induction cooktops high quality utensils and a welcoming staff. It is the perfect set up for a great experience. The bottomless wine offering is as expected. I was a bit friendlier after the class :). The instruction is very hands on possibly because the class size was small during my visit. After the dishes were complete we journeyed downstairs to the dining room which is well decorated with exposed brick walls throughout. It is a very cozy environment to enjoy the meals you prepared. Oh and there is more wine :)!
What an amazing experience! I was welcomed with a glass of fizz to the course, that only three of us were on, so it felt more like a private cooking lesson! Had so much food and the staff never failed to keep our glasses full for the two hours! They were so engaging, helpful and really wanted to make the experience special for us-they certainly did! They will also email us the recipes of what we made so we didn’t have to focus on the details at the time! Would recommend to anyone!
Pao was great with cooking class, was fun , knowledgeable, learned few trick making Spanish Tortilla
We absolutely loved this experience! We wanted something unique to do that helped capture the Spanish culture and I think this was perfect! All of the food was so delicious and the instructors were both fun and informative. We left super full, after cooking and enjoying our tortillas, and other Spanish foods. There was also Cava which was delicious. We are still thinking about the churros we ate :) We would definitely recommend this to everyone!
Vasco was incredibly knowledgeable about the many ingredients and focused on technique throughout the class. I would rate this more than 5 stars if I could! This was definitely one of my favorite parts of the trip, and The Cooking Club Madrid honors your spot in class even if you’re the only who signed up for that time slot. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, it is one worth repeating!
Location was easy to find--right at the exit of the San Martin metro station, entrance at the store front. Staff was friendly and welcoming, and our main teacher charming and knowledgeable. It was a small class so we could chat and get to know the other participants a bit. Ingredients were all prepped in advance so it was super simple for us to follow along while socializing. We were from all over and an interesting crowd. I enjoyed the food, the cava, the cooking instructions, and spending time getting to know fellow participants a bit. I recommend doing this event at this location
Great class! The instructor was very personable. Made recipes that are easy to follow. The space was very nice.
What a great class! The host was super knowledgeable and explained how to make each dish and why. A beautiful interior and dining area. Wish we took another class. A must do if it interests you.
I joined my Madrid based college-age daughter and her friend for what turned out to be one of my favorite experiences in Madrid. Vasco, our chef, was warm and informative and very knowledgeable about the specific ingredients that went into our Spanish tortilla---particular olive oils, types of pimienta. We started with a glass of Cava and also enjoyed two Spanish reds in the wine cellar below the cooking area. Note! The induction cooktops were fantastic. I cook on a gas stove at home and was very impressed with the versatility of the cooktops. Also really appreciated the fun music playlist. I would do this again in a heartbeat.
This place was so much fun and absolutely worth the price! The cooking experience was informative, welcoming, and fun. We were treated very well with wine, extra snacks, and a beautfiul cozy room to enjoy the food we prepared. I would truly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to know more about Spanish food, history, and having fun!
Wonderful atmosphere, chef, and food. I would highly recommend to anyone who want to eat delicious food and lear. How to actually make it!
The class was so much fun!! And the food was delicious! The chef was extremely accommodating and had great stories to tell! I would highly recommend for everyone. Also the ambience and decor of the space was amazing!
One of my best memories of Madrid. Very professional class with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Learnt a lot
Great hands on experience in a unique, contemporary space with remnants of old. Instructor shared his passion for the cuisine and philosophy of enjoying life.
This was one of the best cooking classes I have ever attended. The 4 of us decided to do this class during the week while visiting Madrid to learn how to make Tortilla de Patatas as a birthday event! The clubhouse is an amazing building, clean, well organized and overall well made recipe. The instructions were so easy to follow and made us all feel like we could really cook this up at home. I would highly recommend this place and would love to do another class by this team again.
Amazing!!!! Couldn’t recommend this more! Such a fun activity. Met some lovely people (couples, groups of girls, older people - so many different people there)! Alcohol was free flowing. Class was brilliant, so much fun! Chefs & team were amazing, so helpful and friendly! Food was brilliant! They also shared the recipes via email after the class with was great!! 10/10 would definitely do this again!!
This was SO much fun. The chef was fantastic. We had a great time! Terrific accommodation for the vegetarian in our group - made it smooth and didn't t treat it like it was a hassle. They were very organized. Loved this.
