Awesome tour, got to see a ton of Madrid and had a great time. Booked the 3 hour tour, but got off at the 2 hour tour. The bikes even though they are electric take a lot of energy.

Itinerary
Effortlessly cruise into the iconic Plaza Mayor, feeling the hum of the city under your wheels as you take in grand arcades and centuries of stories.
Marvel at the opulent exterior of the largest functioning royal palace in Europe. A majestic reminder of Spain’s regal past, framed by elegant architecture and sweeping views.
Pass by Madrid’s premier opera house and cultural icon. With its stunning neoclassical façade and rich history, it’s a centerpiece of Spanish performing arts.
Admire the unique fusion of architectural styles at Madrid’s cathedral. This majestic site stands opposite the Royal Palace and offers breathtaking interiors and panoramic views from its dome.
Enjoy the lush tranquility of these neoclassical gardens nestled beside the Royal Palace. A peaceful escape perfect for a photo stop and a breath of fresh air.
Cycle smoothly into one of Madrid’s most photogenic squares. On E-bike you will coast comfortably past fountains, statues, and manicured gardens with royal flair.
Take in the sights and smells of Madrid’s most famous food market. A paradise for foodies, it’s the ideal stop for sampling tapas, local wines, and sweet treats.
During the Essential Madrid Tour, we will ride through Retiro Park, one of the city’s most iconic and beloved green spaces. Once a royal garden, El Retiro is now a beautiful public park where locals and visitors come to relax, walk, cycle and enjoy a quieter side of Madrid. This is one of the most important parts of the tour, as it offers a perfect contrast to the historic streets and busy avenues of the city centre. Inside the park, we will discover wide tree-lined paths, elegant gardens, monuments, fountains and some of Madrid’s most emblematic corners. Depending on the pace of the group and the route conditions, we may pass by highlights such as the Retiro Lake, the Crystal Palace, the Monument to Alfonso XII, and other scenic areas within the park. This section gives participants the chance to experience Madrid from a more relaxed and local perspective, combining history, nature and everyday city life in one of the capital’s most beautiful settings.
Start and end your E-Bike experience at Wonder Tours’ welcoming headquarters, located in the charming heart of the city.

My guide Andrea was very knowledgable and gave important information about Spanish history. The itinerary was well thought out and we saw all important places. We had several stops for taking photographs and longer explanations. It was a real pleasure to do this tour
A very knowledgeable guy called Jacob took us on a very interesting tour of Old town Madrid and showed us several different areas further afield. He was very thoughtful, taking into account different interests, and extremely knowledgeable about Madrid. The bikes were new, in excellent condition and easy to ride.
It was a totally fabulous. Initially a little scary dealing with traffic, but our guide was awesome! Jacob was fabulous!
Fantastic e-bike tour around Madrid. Our group was very small, 7 including Oscar our guide. I felt safe throughout the tour. Oscar was really friendly and great fun. Gave us a brief and very entertaining history of Madrid. Bikes all worked perfectly. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent tour. Our guide Oscar was excellent. Great commentary and very informative. I would certainly recommend this tour.
Andrea was a very knowledgeable guide and had many history facts she shared during the tour. We had small group of 12. Bikes were easy to ride but there are lots of starts and stops due to pedestrian and car traffic. Bikes allowed for more coverage although didn't need much assist during the tour. I kept mine on setting 1 and only used 2 or 3 a few times to get up small hills. Saw lots of sites in the Madrid Centro area. I would avoid a tour in which you can mix riders on ebikes or regular as may be lots of waiting.
Tour guide was great. Was a little disorganised getting the bikes and a lot had issues like poor brakes, seat not staying up, electric going on and off but overall it was a fantastic tour got to see and learn alot about the history of Madrid.
Turns out it was National Spanish Day so the areas we were supposed to see were unavailable. I wish we'd been given an opportunity to reschedule. Instead we took an alternate route with much time in the park. It was beautiful but it was basically just a bike ride. Our guide, Oscar, was very personable and loved history. He had some great graphics on an iPad to explain the few sites we were able to see. I had not bring a jacket and it was colder than expected but he went the extra mile and lent me one of his. About half way through the trip we discovered my gearshift wasn't working. He called his colleague who rode another bike down to us. The new one, I was warned only had one brake working . It didn't have much pep and I had a very difficult time going uphill. My husband said his chain was loose. I think I would have enjoyed a different day where we saw the more iconic sites. The guide did the best possible job it's not his fault that the equipment needs upgrading.
Great way to see Madrid highlights ! If you don’t have much bicycle experience I would not recommend though , streets were busy and hard to negotiate sightseeing , keep an eye on guide etc . Overall I did really enjoy as I love biking and great way to see the basics and the beautiful parks .
Excellent bike tour with Jacob who led us to several popular Madrid spots at a good pace. The electric bikes are fairly easy to handle but be aware that you do go through crowded areas so you should be comfortable navigating city streets, cars, people, construction, etc. Jacob kept the mood light and provided fun history, tidbits, local myths of the sites we visited. A fun, efficient way to cover a number of sites and definitely recommend.
Lots of spots and stops to see lots of major attractions and lesser known areas. Tour guide is very friendly and knowledgeable highly recommended.
There was many stops and had far to long at each stop as every stop was in english then Spanish as was mix in the group
A beautiful way to see Madrid. Fun, interesting snd different. Marcos was knowledgeable and gracious.
Excellent tour. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, Oscar, really made the tour. Good bikes and not strenuous. Strong recommend.
Was fun and would definitely do it again. Oscar was professional but yet fun at the same time. Definitely worth it.
A perfect way to see the city and learn all about the history. Our guide, a young woman with a background in history (I'm sorry her name escapes me), was a wealth of knowledge and was able to answer any additional history questions that were asked. The e-bikes were easy to use and they had storage lockers for free to lock up your extra stuff. It's nicer than a walking tour because you can go farther and if it's blazing hot and you don't want to pedal at all, you don't have to! Great tour, highly recommend.
Andrea was the best tour guide we ever had. So friendly, knowledgeable and adjusts to the families well. Helped us see incredible places in a short period of time. E bikes were so easy to use
Jacob is an amazing guide. He’s very knowledgeable & spoke in English & Spanish to accommodate everyone on our tour. My family learned so much about Madrid (past & present) in a very efficient manner. We loved biking to the major sites & learning about each place. There was time for pictures at each stop and a stop for water & restroom break. Jacob gave us wonderful food & wine recommendations after the tour as well. This is a great way to experience monumental sites of Madrid. Book this tour!
The guide was great and shared many stories about the many sites that we visited. It was a perfect way to visit some of Madrid's beautiful and interestimg sites.
The weather was so hot, but Andrea, our guide was excellent. She provided information in both English and Spanish and was very accommodating. We learnt so much about the city of Madrid and her knowledge was extensive. She was polite and professional. Thanks Andrea :-) The company were also very good with assistance due to the really hot weather.
Andrea was a great guide. She took us to all interesting places in Madrid. She navigated safely among cars and pedestrians. Ebike is an excellent way to se Madrid. You don't get so hot. Recommended!
Definitely a fun way to see some highlights of Madrid. We covered 3 districts and learned some interesting facts. Jacob was a great tour guide!
The tour was excellent. Our guide provided a good blend of history and present day information. It’s a great way to see the city up close
We really enjoyed our e bike tour. It is a great way to see this lovely city. Our guide Andrea was brilliant, really knowledgeable...and patient! Really recommend 👍
A good way to see the city. However, arrival was very disorganized and they were late starting. Zero safety briefing or ascertaining riding level of participants. Guide was lovely, but hard to understand.
This was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed Madrid up close and personal. I recommend everybody who visits the city should do it.
Oscar & David, our guides were fantastic. We were the only people on the tour and weather was not great, and as a result we couldn't go in the parks, because thdy were closed. They adapted the tour to show us more of the city, which was great. Bikes were really good and we'd highly recommend them. Guides were very knowledgeable abd personable, we really enjoyed it.
Great tour- super nice, and she picked all the right bikes for our family! We had a blast. Great way to see the city! We highly recommend
David was very knowledgeable & humorous. My 1st choice on tours. Riding the bikes thru the city felt completely safe & easy
Jacob was a fantastic guide - he told us cool stories and facts about the history of Madrid. Riding the e-bikes was super fun and helpful since Madrid is hilly.
We had a wonderful electric bike tour with our guide Andrea! She was so knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the history of the area. We were able to book the tour the same day, after coming straight from the airport. Thanks for accommodating our schedule and showing us the sites during our limited time in the city! The electric bikes were also really fun to ride. :) We highly recommend this tour!
We did an e-bike tour with Jakov and really enjoyed it. My husband and I were the only ones on the tour so it was basically a private tour for us - a nice bonus. We had done a hop on / hop off bus tour the previous day and visited some of the sights but it was MUCH better visiting them with Jakov as he provided background and interesting details. We would definitely recommend this tour as a way to see the highlights of the city. Neither my husband or I are frequent bike riders and we had no problem making our way around the city with Jakov’s help. Of course it may be different during the busy season when the crowds are larger. Thanks, Jakov, for a great tour!
Our tour guide was great! It flew by so fast!! We made stops along the way while our tour guide told us facts, and there was a lot of interesting places!
Jacob was an excellent host and tour guide for our e-bike ride around Madrid. He was funny, informative and a bit irreverent, which was a perfect fit for our group. The bikes all were in good working condition for rentals and we were given helmets, a great option given Madrid’s traffic. Highly recommended.
The tour was OK. The guide was great, but the bikes were subpar. They were electric, but they didn’t go by themselves and I was expecting them to be self propelling and it was hard to get through the crowds of people with the peddling that I had to do so if you are looking for a leisure, Lee, I would recommend doing something else but otherwise it was a good tour
too many ppl in the tour, they had to ended out tour after 37 min because we were behind. I wish if they had less ppl since the streets are so busy with cars.
We really enjoyed this E Bike tour with Jacob as our guide. Great way to get your bearings in a new city. We are also taking an E bike tour when we arrive in Seville.
This was a great way to cover a large area and get an overview of Madrids key sights and its parks. Our guide spoke good English and was a great source of information. The bikes were easy to ride and well maintained. I'd have been happy to have had some fifteen mins longer as at times it felt a little rushed but overall it was excellent and was the best thing I did in Madrid.
Decent places visited, horrible readiness and execution by the tour guide. Bikes were in poor condition, started tour over 30 minutes late, no concern for safety including offering helmets, do’s and don’ts of driving in busy Madrid traffic. Only a leader up front, nobody on the backend behind the last rider. Terrible execution.
Great ride on a beautiful day in Madrid Jacob was a great guide Wry knowledgeable about Spanish history
Our guide Jacob had a quirky sense of humour which made the tour memorable and he tailored the experience to suit the group of 4 of us. Very enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend.
Jacob was our guide and he was brilliant so much knowledge and spoke perfect english. And the electric bikes were brilliant made cycling round madrid so easy.
Loved it and our guide was very informative and funny. Bikes seemed good and having an e-bike was a real bonus.
Our guide was very good. Stopped along the way and gave us lots of good information. Was a very pleasant trip.
🌍🚴♂️ Exploring Madrid on Two Wheels 🚴♀️🌆 the best way to explore this beautiful city is by bike! 🛵 My wife and I had an unforgettable experience with Andrea cycling through the vibrant streets, discovering hidden gems and iconic landmarks that we wouldn’t have been able to reach by car, and definitely not on foot in just one day! We started our journey in the heart of Madrid and hit all the major historic sites: 🏛 Plaza Mayor– The grand central square where history and culture blend seamlessly. ⛪️ Almudena Cathedral– A stunning piece of architecture that’s just as breathtaking on the inside as it is on the outside. 🎨 Museo del Prado– We didn’t just zoom past; we stopped to appreciate some of the world’s greatest masterpieces! 🏰 Royal Palace of Madrid– The grandeur of Spain’s royal history at its finest. 🌳 Retiro Park– A serene break from the hustle and bustle, where we enjoyed a peaceful ride around the park's stunning lake and gardens. 📷 Puerta del Sol– The iconic central square where we felt the pulse of Madrid. 🏗 Temple of Debod– An ancient Egyptian temple offering the best sunset views in the city. 🚴♂️ As we biked through narrow streets and wide boulevards, we felt completely immersed in the city’s energy. Andrea shared some great History and even showed some great Art bringing us back to those times. It was so interesting! If you’re planning a trip to Madrid, I can’t recommend biking enough. It’s an eco-friendly, fun, and incredibly efficient way to see the city. Trust me, you won’t miss a thing! 🌍❤️
Andrea was an amazing tour guide and very considerate :) would absolutely recommend to go! The Madrid summer heat was not as bad as we expected because the e bikes were great
Absolutely brilliant from beginning to end. Jacob was our guide, he was so entertaining that even our teenagers hung on every word. We learnt so much about Madrid and going around on the ebikes to all the spots was so much fun. Highly recommended!
Had a blast cycling around Madrid. Tour guide was entertaining and we enjoyed his company and stories about life in Spain. Helped add another layer to life and living in this fabulous city.
Great overall tour. A little hairy up and down crowded roads, but Jacob was a great guide. Learned about other places to go after the tour
