What a blast!! We were a bit nervous at first but were surprised at how easy it was to drive a Segway - training was provided before we set off and once we were confident, away we went! This is definitely the most fun we've had so far on our trip. Our guide was also great and provided excellent info along the way - highly recommend!

Enjoyed our charming young guide. Very friendly and gave us time at stops to investigate an area more on our own. Made sure we sere comfortable on the segways and kept us safe on the busy streets. He took pictures for us that are suppose to be sent to my email, but have not received those yet.

Superb Segway private tour in Retiro Park. Rafa was a brilliant guide. First time on a Segway, a little nervous but Rafa had me up and running in a few minutes. Great way to see the park as it's huge, as little or as much historical information as you wish. Places where my teenager could get up to max speed so all boxes ticked. So glad we did this, highly recommend, one of our highlights or Madrid.

It was our first Segway experience, and we absolutely loved it. Jaime patiently explained how to use the devices and gave us enough time to practice before we headed to the park. It was fun and a great way to enjoy the park! Much easier than we expected!
Be very careful booking this tour with kids. The listing states a “recommended” weight range, but in our experience it was enforced as a strict requirement. Our 10-year-old did not meet the recommended weight and was denied participation upon arrival. We were not offered any alternative, and despite being unable to participate at all, we were not refunded. On-site, we were told to contact Viator regarding the refund, while Viator later indicated the operator controlled that decision. The lack of clarity and accountability was extremely frustrating. If there is truly a minimum weight requirement, it should be clearly stated as mandatory—not described as “recommended.” As written, the listing is misleading and puts families at risk of paying for an experience they may not be allowed to join. We’ve booked many tours without issue, which made this experience particularly disappointing.
Give yourselves time to get to the meeting location which we couldnt find and we were late for tour. They did honor the amount of time we had left and we were grateful bc it became one of the highlights of our trip!!! Tour guide even took pics for us and emailed at the end.
Rafael showed us a terrific time. Shop was easy to find. They offered us helmets and ponchos for the drizzle that was to come. We rolled all through the park with ease. Rafael is friendly and knowledgeable about the different cites and sculptures throughout the park. He kept us safe in streets and park. We were able to hear and understand him completely. Nice day zooming around on segways.
Inexperience on Segway - not a problem! Rain - not a problem! From start to finish, this Segway Private Tour in Retiro Park was AMAZING! Cristina was so friendly, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to. If she can teach me to ride on a Segway and operate it on the streets of Madrid, then she can teach anyone. What a wonderful way to experience the beauty of Retiro Park. It was raining that day but that only made the private tour of the park with Cristina more memorable. The cost of the private tour was well worth the expense, and I certainly would do it again if given the chance. The time flew by as we whisked around the park on our Segways! Everything about this experience as A+, 5-Star, 100%. Highly recommend. Keep up the great work Cristina!
Great Segway experience with Rafael. We are a family of three with a teenage (13 YO) son. The segways are super simple to use x2 models and we had a quick briefing and then headed to the stunning Retiro Park. Plenty of time for Segway and also the main sights. Our son loved the experience and was given loads of chances to zip off on his own and a really good speed. We’ve done similar tours on a Segway in Brussels and San Francisco and this was far superior tour with a better guide and better Segway. Thanks

We did our very first Segway tour and had an absolutely fabulous experience! Our guide was incredibly patient and made sure we felt comfortable before starting — we quickly got the hang of it. One thing that really stood out is that this provider uses Segways with big, wide tires, which made riding over cobblestone streets effortless and smooth. They’re super stable and shock-absorbent, which made the entire ride even more enjoyable. We glided through beautiful 18-acre gardens with ease, taking in the scenery while having so much fun. We had an amazing time on the Segway tour with our guide Rosario. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience both fun and informative. We did have one issue and felt a bit nervous riding on the roads with cars, but Rosario kept us safe and confident throughout the tour. Because of that, we ended up spending more time in the park, which was a wonderful opportunity to relax and really enjoy the beautiful sights there. This was a really fun tour. We went as a family with my 12-yr old and 10-yr old and it took them less than 5 minutes to learn to use the Segway. Evans was instructive and very careful with our family as we navigated the streets to the park. Inside the park, we visited the best sites and explored without rushing. It was casual, fun, and different than the typical Madrid tours. Highly recommend this tour from Segcitytours—especially if you’re tired of walking around in the crowds.
Segway is a great way to explore El Retiro Park. A great introduction to the vast and beautiful El Retiro. We covered a lot of ground becoming family with the area so that we knew the spots we wished to revisit again during our stay in Madrid.

First, driving a segway is fun and you can cover more ground in less time. Retirio park is absolutely beautiful, we were guided to all the best photo spots along with fun facts and the history of the park.
Murals and his partner were really attentive and explained how to use the Segway. It was our first time on the Segway and we feel comfortable right away. It was so much fun to explore the beautiful park and learned a little of its history. Highly recommend this tour. They even took pictures for us and send via email if all our photos.

A fantastic experience. A couple of our party arrived a little late but Pablo was patient and didn't put us under any pressure. We did the hour trip but we'd had liked to have seen more of Retiro park, so maybe 2 hours would be better. Overall thoroughly recommend it.
My husband and I had SO MUCH FUN on this tour! SegCityTours was very accommodating when the park was closed due to wind on our original tour date. We were able to reschedule easily for another date. Our two guides were wonderful! It appeared one was in training. We zipped around Parque del Retiro, stopping to learn about monuments, beautiful park views, and to hear interesting historical tidbits. We picked the 1-hour tour but perhaps the 1.5-hour tour shows more of the park. We would definitely recommend this Segway tour for a fun way to see Madrid!

Our private Segway Tour with Aleya and Pablo was wonderful! They were so patient with us as we learned how to ride and when we were comfortable, our adventure began. This review could have been 5 stars. Our guide Fransisco was very friendly and patient. The Segways were of a good standard and the hour long tour round Retiro park was a good route. However, one of our party was unable to take part in the tour. During the initial training she accidentally fell off the Segway and hurt her knee. She was given an ice pack and had to stay behind and wait in the shop. I have asked for a refund for 1 person but it has been refused on the grounds that the Segway and guide had been provided. I am not trying to apportion any blame for the accident but as this person was unable to take part in the experience, not through choice, it would have been a gesture of good will to refund.
