Borja our tour guido was excellent. Very knowledgeable and with a high sense of humor that makes the tour a great experience. I will highly recommend Amigo Tours and for sure if possible ask for Borja.

The palace was nice, but our audio tour did not work and we had to buy one from another vendor at the palace
Tour was changed to start at4:00 pm . We thought we booked a bilingual tour English and Spanish but it was just Spanish . We had Google Translate and the tour guide was very accommodating and friendly non the less . Quick access and very good descriptions of the palace
My daughter and I truly enjoyed the tour of the Royal Palace of Madrid. Our guide, Enrique, was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer questions along the way. He made the history interesting and made it relatable, while giving us enough time to admire the gorgeous decor and architecture. We would do this again1
The guide Borja was amazing but the company charged us additionally with a lot of money sending me a message that we didn't show up there. The tickets were bought in advance through go city and amigo tours provided this service. For the guide I offer 5 stars, but not for the company
The guide was amazing. But after completing the tour, I've been charged for not showing for it.
Very good moment. Thanks. To the guide.
We had a great tour guide! Rocio (sp?). She was very informative and had a great sense of humor. She had great insights on each of the rooms in the vast palace and kept us moving at a good pace.
Carlos was very friendly and knowledgeable! We appreciated his humor and flare and he spoke really good English! It was a rainy day and he was quick to communicate a location change for pick-up.
Love the tour. José Javier is the best. He has a lot of knowledge. I recommend this tour company. We have a great time. We really enjoy the tour.
Javier was an amazing guide for our tour and it certainly made the experience even better than it normally is by just visiting the Palace.
Tour with Marie the guide was good, informative and she kept us all on track. Unfortunately, no responsibility on the part of the guide, the palace is very crowded and had to move fast through it. She was very well educated about the palace. The earpieces a great idea and innovation for the tour
After making a Royal Palace tour reservation several months before the requested date (as well as the Prado), Amigo cancelled the tour at the last minute even as other vendors were still doing the same tour forcing a large out of pocket expense. They offered an alternative time and date for the Royal Palace that was unacceptable as we had already booked other venues. They are an unreliable vendor and should be avoided.
Terrible. I bought the ticket in advance and few days before the local operator cancelled on my. We did not have time to get another entry so I could no visit the palace. It was very unprofessional, as they sold something that apparently they did not have (tickets to enter) and in the process I missed the chance to visit the Palace. They offer to reschedule for the following month, which obviusly is not an option when you are traveling overseas for vacation. Very bad. You should not allow these type of operators.
No, the guide either left 20minutes before the tour time or NEVER showed up. Two other groups arrived as directed 15 -20 minutes before the scheduled tour time. All three groups talked to your people without ANY resolution! I demand a FULL refund, or I will go through AMEX to get a refund. Not only did you waste a full afternoon, it screwed up our schedule for our 4days in Madrid. Vernon
Amigo tour changed our tour timing for the Madrid Royal place tour on Sep 10. Its was at 9:30am and then changed to 2:45pm. We were there at the meeting point at 2:25pm and no one showed up and when we called the Amigo tour they said the guide is already in the place. There were two other families with us too. So we booked the tour again through Expedia and visiting the place today on Sep 11. So we need a refund from Viatour. Once I reach US will try to call Viatour support for the refund
We had an excellent experience touring the Royal Palace of Madrid with Amigo Tours. Our guide was incredibly well informed and shared the history, art, and cultural details of the palace in a way that was both engaging and easy to follow. Every question we had was answered with depth and enthusiasm, and it was clear how much knowledge and passion the guide brought to the experience. The pace of the tour was just right—plenty of time to admire the details without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a wonderful way to explore such a magnificent landmark, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madrid.
Incredibly beautiful and amazing history, definitely a must see in Madrid… Carlos was fun and knowledgeable, was a great tour
Carlos was a wonderful tour guide to our small group of 10. He was knowledgeable and humorous, and hit all of the major highlights available to public view. I’d recommend this tour rather than just wandering around without historical context, unless you’ve done a lot of advance research on your own and know what to look for.
If you're going anyways, being in an organized tour group seems like the better option. There's a separate security entrance and when going through several rooms the groups walk on a separate route from self-guided visitors. We also wore a small amplification ear piece to be able to hear our guide. This tour is full of art, architecture, and Spanish history. The downside is that there are so very many people that I needed my ear piece turned to the highest volume. Our guide was sweet, but hasn't traveled at all (even to the south is Spain) and English was spoken with a thick accent (husband and kids didn't realize she was saying "clocks" until about half-way through and felt like they were missing the "cloaks" they thought they were supposed to see). The Cathedral next door is free and we went through on our own as recommended by our guide. Something to do, but overall, could do without this tour unless you're really into Spanish royalty and quick walk-by glimpses of art.
Awful! We booked a group “skip the line” tour last week and there was no “skipping the line.” We ended up having to wait 40 minutes in the same queue as everyone else in the blazing sun with our 2 children just to get in. They claim you are skipping the queue, because the guide has your tickets. Problem is everyone else has tickets too! Such a scam, don’t fall for it like we did. There was a separate queue for those who didn’t purchase tickets in advance and they walked straight in, bought their tickets and were in within minutes. Also shame on Amigo tours for refusing to refund our money after we found out there was no skipping the queue when we met our guide! Don’t recommend, felt like we have been totally scammed!
Booked the Madrid Royal Palace Guided Tour / Skip the Line with Amigo Tours on Tripadvisor and was well worth the cost, our guide was great and very professional and informative.
Tour guide Alba was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and told us great information that made the tour very special. The tour was about 1 hr 30 mins- 2 hrs. Beautiful palace and a must do when visiting Madrid. Stayed at hard rock hotel was about a 25-30 min walk to the meeting point. Did 2 full days in Madrid, definitely recommend adding this to your itinerary if visiting.
The Palace has significant amount of Royal treasures and historical artifacts. Had a very knowledgeable tour guide and was able to skip the long line to enter. Morning tour much less crowded than pm.
Our tour guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. She was obviously interested in the palace and particularly the characters she was talking about, really enjoyed it. Thank you. The photos are from my favourite room our of the 3000 or so at the palace!
Great guide, full of interesting information and anecdotes. Well worth the price and allows you to skip the long line of others waiting to get in.
Yanny is an excellent guide-- he is a walking history lesson, with a sense of humor. Highly recommend!
Rocio with Amigo tours was an amazing guide. She was very funny and knowledgeable. We booked this tour in the morning and it was perfect. The palace reminds me of a mini version of Versailles (without the gardens). It has 3418 rooms but we only get to see the 22 rooms during the tour. Keep an eye out for the original a Stradivarius bass and viola.
Our tour guide Rocio was so funny and knowledgeable. She made the Royal Palace tour really informative. It was 2 hours and it flew by. Definitely somewhere you should checkout. Especially with Amigo Tours. They are in regular communication with you, before and after the tour. They send you a picture of the meeting point, as well as a link to the location on Google maps.
Well organised. Meeting point very clear and not far from palace. communication with company very clear . Guide knowledgeable with good English
I highly recommend touring the palace with Amigo Tours. Our guide, Rocio, offered lots of information and history with enthusiasm and humor. Though we were tired (fresh off a flight from the US), she kept the tour lively and fun, and she was incredibly knowledgeable about the royal family and the palace.
Enrique was great and we enjoyed his thorough breakdown of all the landmarks and beautiful architecture in the royal palace
We were a small group of 8. Despite that, the guide went through the rooms of the palace at a rapid pace and did not give us enough time to take good pictures. She also started her explanations while walking and as her voice was extremely low, we often missed most of it. The palace itself is definitely worth seeing. I just wish the guide Lorena had not been in such a hurry.
The Royal Palace tour was excellent! Our guide was very knowledgeable and considerate. A beautiful place with lots of interesting history.
I booked the Royal Palace tour with Amigo Tours two months in advance to ensure we could visit this key attraction in Madrid. However, just one day before the tour, Amigo Tours cancelled our booking and offered only one alternative time slot, which did not fit our schedule due to another tour we had already booked. Because of this last-minute cancellation and lack of flexibility, we were unable to visit the Royal Palace at all, as the tickets were sold out by then. This was one of the most important places we wanted to see in Madrid, and Amigo Tours completely ruined that part of our trip. This shows a lack of professionalism and respect for travelers who plan ahead. I strongly do not recommend booking with Amigo Tours. Amigo Tours ruined our entire schedule. Zero reliability, zero respect – never again! Avoid Amigo tours.
I had a lovely time touring the Royal Palace with my family. Rocío was a wonderful tour guide. Her knowledge about the palace was evident and her wit made the experience all the more enjoyable. I would recommend going!
Rocio was wonderful. She guided us through the place at a perfect pace, pointing out special pieces in each room, keeping us engaged with questions before she gave the answers, and making sure we could all hear her. It was the last tour of our trip, and a truly memorable one.
The palace was beautiful! Carlos was very nice and knowledgeable, but my children had a little trouble understanding him. An hour and a half was perfect for us with 2 kids, 9 and 15 years old.
Very funny and informative tour guide, thanks Enrique you were the best!!. Amazing places. Not to miss experience, unique architecture and stories.
Our guide, Carlos, was entertaining, friendly and knowledgeable. The Palace was stunning and we learned so much about its history and treasures. The tour was great.
Carlos is a great guide and throws in his humor and knowledge about the Royal Palace together which makes for a fantastic tour ! Very easy to enter into the palace and great explanations of the history and unique rooms!
Paula was great, incredible her knowledge about everything in the museums. Thank you a lot for you support and your work. Congratulations for the company also.
Wonderful and complete tour of the Palace!! She exceeded our expectations!! She was very kind and patient, as there are many rooms and stairs :)
I ended up booking a Royal Palace tour through Amigo through the Tiqets / GoCity Pass. I had a rather unsatisfactory experience with Tiqets pass, which is a separate matter, but my experience with Amigo was great. They were very responsive on the phone, their guide was very professional and helpful, the tour started on time. Excellent experience with Amigo.
The tour guide was patient kind and extremely knowledgeable. The time and ease of getting into the palace was a plus. We highly recommend her.
It was a nice trip that we experienced the Royal Palace of Spain. Our guidance was so friendly and well prepared. Thanks to all
Everything was awesome, Carlos had a great knowledge.about el Palacio and he was very funny. You should do this tour, it's amazing👏
We went on this tour with our 20 something kids. Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The group was not to big 14 because it was an afternoon tour which was great. The ability to skip the line was fantastic as we did not lose a lot of time waiting in al line. We’ll worth doing.
Couldn’t fault the tour, probably depends on personal preference maybe a bit long winded when it came to the Royal Family over the years but it is what it is. Top guide though👍
I enjoyed this tour of the royal palace. Our tour guide was good and gave us some extra information that we would not have got if we went on our own.
