E-bikes were so easy . Guide was great. Really enjoyed this 2 hour tour. We did 330 in the afternoon .

Itinerary
A bustling square near the historic Teatro Calderón, filled with locals and performers. It’s a great example of modern Madrid mingling with old-world charm.
Known as the "Literary Quarter," this vibrant street is engraved with quotes from Spanish Golden Age writers. A ride through Huertas is a journey through literary history.
We pause near Spain’s most famous museum. While we don’t enter, your guide will share the significance of this institution and some of the masterpieces housed inside.
An iconic neoclassical fountain representing the sea god Neptune. It’s a symbol of Madrid’s cultural pride and the meeting point for Atlético de Madrid fans.
We officially enter Madrid’s most beloved green space—a 125-hectare park full of art, nature, and history.
The only known public statue in the world dedicated to Lucifer. Set at 666 meters above sea level, this sculpture is both fascinating and eerie.
A beautifully maintained rose garden, featuring dozens of varieties in spring and summer. A fragrant, colorful highlight of the park.
The most photographed spot in the park. This spectacular glass palace reflects off a peaceful pond and houses rotating art installations.
The grand Retiro Pond is a favorite for rowboat rides. We stop to enjoy views of the water and the massive colonnade and statue of Alfonso XII.
A grand monument to the former king, featuring a semicircular colonnade and a central statue overlooking the lake—a popular gathering spot.
One of Madrid’s most famous landmarks. This neoclassical triumphal arch once served as a city gate and now stands as a proud symbol of Madrid.
A magnificent fountain of the goddess Cybele, often associated with Real Madrid football celebrations. It’s flanked by the stunning Cybele Palace and other key buildings.
One of the city’s oldest and longest streets, showcasing diverse architecture from baroque to modern. The ride along here is a visual feast.
Madrid’s central square and the symbolic “kilometer zero” of Spain’s road network. We’ll pass through this lively spot full of energy and urban life.
Finish the tour at our office right in the centre of Madrid. Only a few minutes walk from Opera metro stop.

This morning, we found out our morning e-bike tour was canceled. We called Viator ASAP & schedule a new e-bike tour with this company. Jacob took us around Madrid with expertise& care (for the cars around us.) We'd recommend this company whole heartedly!
Jakob was Awesome!!! The ladies from Tennessee loved his expertise and knowledge about Spain. Riding the bikes were a lot of fun!!! Best Guide Ever!!!
I am awarding five stars because I feel I was treated very fairly by Wonder Tours on a recent visit. I booked this tour for my husband and myself. We arrived in Madrid the day before, and I got a ridiculous sunburn on both of my feet. We went to the meeting point, but by the time we got there, I was really concerned that I would not be able to make the ride, and I would spoil it for the other participants. Oscar, the guide, was kind and understood the situation. The woman at the reservation desk was also very kind and said that I would need to contact Viator. I contacted Viator when we returned home from vacation, and I was issued a partial refund for half the price of our tickets. I think that was fair, and I'm sorry we didn't get to take the tour. I bet it was a lot of fun. Wonder Tours Cares About Its Customers!
The tour was good! The guide could have been better at giving prompts or instructions beforehand, he would move on to the next location without much warning!
We had a lovely ride with Jacob of Wander Tours. We headed to the park via the safest route and heard history about many of the sites inside the park.
Although we chose a very hot time of day, we were very happy with our choice! It was just the three of us with our guide, so this was like a personal tour! We were very happy with Jacob and he made sure we knew how to use the bikes, stopped occasionally to teach about various Madrid sites, and gave us some free time within Retiro to view roses. He was also always willing to take our photos and made this one of the highlights of our 9-day trip to Madrid. We were very pleased with this experience!
we registered for the two hour Retiro bike ride. Instead, we got grouped in to a 3 hour city tour with Retiro park being the last hour.explained this to guide but he kept saying he was giving us the extra hour free. We didn’t want the city tour as we had already had this the day before. Also, 3 hours on a bike was more than we could handle. We had no choice, though, as the last hour was the only bit of Ritter park we would get.
Definitely not the tour we thought we signed up for! We wanted a tour of the park. Instead, 2/3 of our time was spent stopping at various city landmarks that we’ve already seen. The bikes are awkward with the most uncomfortable seats imaginable. And, finally, there are way too many people booked on this tour (15 or so) to be navigating through the streets, when riders have various bike skills. We would have been better off renting e-bikes and riding through the park ourselves.
Amazing bike trip. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this experience.
Our guide Christian was excellent in sharing the history and information of the city. By far one of our favorite excursions. Don’t hesitate to book this tour!
I have emailed my experience. It is too long to write it in here. But do you allow your guides to get high on the trip?
The atmosphere was charming, food was excellent and the entertainment was phenomenal. Really enjoyed the entire experience. The staff was very attentive, very much worth seeing!
The bike tour with Wonder Tours was disappointing. The description on Trip Advisor isn't reflective of the actual experience. I received a voicemail to cancel on the day because there wasn't a guide to take us out, but arrangements were changed to have a Segway guide go out. I wouldn't describe it as a bike tour as there was limited biking, mostly stopping often with story telling/history. Bikes did not seem to be in top condition. We enjoyed a self guided tour earlier in the day in Parque del Retiro with excellent e-bike rentals from Rent & Roll.
We have done bike tours in pretty well every country we have visited, from Europe to the USA to China (we did one in London (again) just last week). I am not tall (5 feet 3) but I have never, ever booked a bike tour where they did not have a bike that fitted me safely. The company not only made NO effort to find a bike to fit me (I was told all the bikes were a size 'medium'), but to add insult to injury, they then refused to reimburse the money we had paid because we could not do the tour safely. Safety should be a primary concern for a bike tour company - it clearly wasn't for this one. Without doubt, the worst service I have ever experienced with a bike tour company. Be warned!
We Changed to Campos Park, at our request. Our guide was most accommodating and wonderful tour! We enjoyed very much!
This was a tour we were really looking forward to and it did not disappoint! You truly get to experience not only the beauty of Parque de El Retiro but the magic of the city. Our tour guide, Javier was the BEST!! He was incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly, and always attentive to us and our safety. He was very detailed oriented and really gave us so much background information and history on things we would have never learned on our own. Thank you Javier for making this tour for our family so very special and helping us fall even more in love with Madrid!
Gloria was fun, knowledgeable and informative. She cared about everyone on the tour getting what they needed. Fun Tour!
this is a wonderful way to see the center and parts of the RETIRO . Gloria, a native of Madrid , had perfect English . She shared pieces of history as we cycled and stopped along the way and was well informed and friendly . The Palace, Market, Plaza Mayor, Plaza Santa Ana, Crystal Palace , RETIRO gardens ..so many interesting places .. 3 hours passed quickly .
Excellent 3 hours tour to see all the things you need. Even an extra ride to sightseeings outside of the main route Thanks Pablo! Rain was a nice surprise :-)
Diego was very well informed about the city. He took us to spots which are definitely a must see but also has advised us about where to eat. He took us to the spots outside retiro park as well and make sure that we have an awesome taste of the city. We felt we got a good experience through the tour. I would highly advise you to gi for the tour. It was one of the highlights of the tour.
Merci
Very nice and interesting experience. I really liked it. Just a few notes for better Service. When I booked on Tripadvisor it said that the guide was available in Italian while it was only English and Spanish, apparently the Italian language in Spain is not welcome). The visit is titled "by bike to the park of the retreat" but in reality you do the sightseeing tour by bike of almost the entire city (and this is a plus but should be specified). Otherwise, personal. Very kind, helpful and nice. Good.
Fue una muy linda visita al parque del Retiro Las bicicletas eléctricas estaban en estado normal Faltaría revisar los frenos más seguido
Thanks to gloria for this beautiful tour to the Retiro passing through the literary district and as we still had a little time to discover the other side of Madrid. Very attentive guide and very good reviews On the other hand a little disappointed by the quality of electric bikes but we are used to our electric bikes at home....this probably explains our perception
Notre guide gloria très chouette connaissant très bien l’histoire de Madrid et tous ses petits coins . Par contre le matériel pourrait être d’un niveau supérieur
We were traveling with diego. Sympathetic, informative, entertaining, relaxed ... everything a tour needs to make even a segway novice fun. Gracias Diego!!!
