Madrid Private Bike Tour

So grateful we booked this! Despite the heat, August turns out to be an ideal time for a bike tour of Madrid. No traffic or safety concerns. Thus, we saw every main attraction in record time. This worked perfectly since we were only in town for a few waking hours. Super nice team -- provided drinks, recommendations, and travel tips. Javier was passionate about Madrid's history and could have dropped as much knowledge as we wanted. Also a solid biker. Fascinating city! Paying extra for a private tour was totally worth it, despite us having a small group. Rent & Roll customized our route per our interests, the heat, and our time constraints (last-minute decision to hustle to the total eclipse!). We didn't have to worry about keeping up with a larger group, etc. Some of us biked and another e-biked, which helped us all stay at a similar pace. The exercise helped us recover from our red-eye flight. If customizing the route, we highly recommend spending extra time in El Retiro Park. And the park's beautiful tree canopies kept the August heat at bay. The location is super close to the Museo del Prado and Parque de El Retiro (and our hotel), so it couldn't have been any more convenient. FYI you can book just as easily, directly, on the Rent & Roll website. They have options to bike or pay more for an e-bike, and helmets are included.

We’ve just had a brilliant tour of the city from Abdul who went above and beyond to show us as much of the city and its history as we could see in the 2 hour time slot. The bikes were comfy. I’d defo recommend the E-Bikes as Madrid is a bit hilly so they were an absolute saviour. Thanks so much guys!

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) had a wonderful private e-bike tour of Madrid with Angie as our guide. We saw all the highlights and much more of the city than we would have on foot. It was a very hot day, and the e-bikes were easy to operate and a necessity. Angie was an informative and helpful guide! She provided us with cold water and chose a place along the way to rest and enjoy an ice cream. Angie made sure we were safe on the roads, and we all felt very comfortable. Booking and check-in were easy, and the location is conveniently located near the Museo del Prado and El Retiro park. I highly recommend this tour, and e-bikes are definitely worth it during the summer!!

We did a 2 tour evening with our teenage sons 3 years ago and had an awesome experience. We didn’t expect our second time to be able to top it, but it did. Sergio was fantastic and we are so grateful to him for making our tour so special!

This was an awesome tour! We’ve done many bike tours and this one really stands out for us as one of the best! Our guide, Isaac (we could be spelling this wrong, sorry), was great! He really made it great, he was informative and fun. We saw a lot of the city.

Our family enjoyed the bike tour of Madrid with Sergio. He was very knowledgeable about the historical highlights of the city and kept a reasonable pace, always aware of the people on his tour. The e-bikes were a nice feature. We would highly recommend this tour as a great way to see an overview of Madrid.

Sergio was amazing and we saw so much so fast and were active and outside. Sergio is a great guide. There were four of us and it was very intimate. Sergio is a must.

Sergio was an excellent guide. A private tour is highly recommended as it gave our group som flexibility. 3 hour trip was a good length and included a welcomed stopp (our initiative) in the Retiro parc for some coffee and soaking up the surroundings. It was the highlight of our visit as far as activities go.

Very nice cultural tour with Abdhul. Abdhul speaks spanish, english, french (and probably more 😁) and knows the city inside-out. As we asked so many questions, we ran late, but this was no problem at all for him. Very good adress.

Start to finish, we had an excellent experience! Booking online was quite easy. Weather was looking questionable so they followed up on WhatsApp to make sure we still wanted to come. Jorge was our private guide and did a wonderful job. This was such a great way to see the city and learn a little Spanish history. He was very knowledgeable and a fun person to explore the city with. Just before finishing, he took us for a traditional Tortilla and some sangria which were both great! The bikes were in good condition and well maintained. With the electric bikes, this tour is good for anyone and any fitness level. We highly recommend Rent & Roll!

Good bikes, lovely people, Vasiliy was very knowledgeable on all things Madrid. Went back next day and hired bikes as lot easier than walking! Can’t recommend these guys highly enough; shop is right beside the park entrance so perfect location.

Yanny was a wonderful guide and super knowledgeable. What great experience. Yanny was very chill and took us to great parts of Madrid. The bikes were in perfect shape, which is important. Helmets were available with hairnets for cleanliness. Would absolutely do this again.

GIGI!! THE BEST.GUIDE EVER!!!! we had a really nice trip to the most famous and important places in Madrid in only 3 hours! I wanted to be brave and choose the normal bike instead of the electric one but midway I figured Madrileños like high hills so I had to ask for help at times 😅😅😅 (GET THE ELECTRIC PLEASE!) Shoutout to our guide though!! She made it all better and encouraged me ! I love her way of explaining history to us, very simple but detailed, essential and with a bit of irony that makes everything easier to understand! My dad doesn’t speak english nor spanish but her good attitude can break language barriers easily ❤️ We could tell she really loves what she does (AND OFFERED US ICE CREAMS!!!) Our tour guide Vasilly was super, the tour was pitched for all abilities and ages. Even for those that wanted electric bikes in the group that we were with. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and therefore can highly recommend this activity.

With guide Vasiliy the tour was a great experience - he knows the city, the people, the country and the history and showed and told and showed us so much! Even in the middle of traffic we felt safe, we enjoyed the tour to the fullest and can highly recommend it - and Vasiliy! We (2 couples over 50) had booked e-bikes and got competent, friendly and patient help from the staff at Rent & Roll in choosing the bikes, which by the way were very good!

Fantastic tour with guide Abdul. We got a great overview of the city. The bikes were fine and thee also arranged a tandem for is.We enjoyed Abduls stories ans style.

Had a lovely time on the tour. The cycling is very easy going and Vasily goes with the pace of the group! We stopped at some of the major historical sites and attractions. Great way to see the city.

They were accomodating, knowledgable, gave us some great recommendations and showed us an amazing amount of Madrid in just a 3 hour bike tour. Customized to the group as well. If your taking a trip to Madrid and have a large party (or a small one!) you need to contact Michel (make sure to ask for Myrte as your guide!)

My young adult children and I had a great day with Sergio. He was very kind and informative, speaking excellent English. We felt safe and comfortable with his route. We had time to stop at the market and enjoy some of the wonderful delights that were offered. He made sure to see to our needs as we traveled through the city. We choose the Saturday Morning tour, which was good because it was hot by the time we returned. The Crystal Palace in the park was closed at the time we traveled, but we got to see it from the outside. I would definitely recommend this tour and Sergio as a tour guide. He did a great job!!

We took a private bike tour with Borjan and it was the best! He was so good at explaining the history behind the places we visited. He showed us all around the city and we felt we had a good understanding of how to get around after. Loved the secret places he told us about. Take the private tour with borjan and you won’t regret it!

The shop was easy to work with. Bikes were great. Really enjoyed our private 3 hour ride with Nico (Nicolas). After being in Spain for 3 weeks I was concerned about another guided tour but we risked it and rented Ebikes and Private Tour. Nico rocked the day and gave us an unforgettable tour and with an hour remaining we discovered he’s a foodie so asked if he’d consider abandoning the ride to explain local wines and his favorite tapas, he didn’t hesitate and introduced us to 4 amazing and different reds, a unique white, artichoke veggie paella (we don’t eat pork), beef carpaccio, delightful olive oils and more. A delightful and unforgettable day- worth the money! thanks Nico and team at Rent & Roll!

Highly recommended private bike tour of madrid - did the tour with a group of friends and we all loved it.

Our family of 4 joined a group of 6 other international tourists on a fantastic bike tour around the highlights of Madrid. The pace was good and Niko, our guide, was extraordinarily informative and very patient with my questioning. Whilst the Bus Tour people sat in traffic, we whizzed past to our next destination, stopping only for passing passengers on the crossing (if they were lucky!).

We were group of 4 - arrived to find all bikes set up and ready - so no wasted time. Our guide Borja - was fantastic - we travelled at safe pace predominately on bike lanes - Borja gave fun and informative historical facts and stories at certain locations on the way round the city.

What to say.... it was more than perfect First of all Welcoming: quick replies to emails, listening... they even offered us a change of day following a deplorable weather. Thanks for that, the tour might not have had the same flavor in the pouring rain. Then the tour cycled in itself with Abdul. He is thoughtful, considerate, and exciting. The story of Madrid told by Abdul was captivating. Besides, Abdul has a lot of humor which makes this bike tour all the more friendly. So we were lucky enough to have a 5 star guide! Thanks to this beautiful team, we will be back with pleasure.

Abdul is an excellent guide who knows a lot about the city and its beautiful history. The neighborhood of the Letters, the park of the retreat, squares, monuments, and the key places of Madrid. At all times Abdul was very careful about our safety and that we are happy. It was a wonderful, highly recommended and the best way to know such a beautiful city.

We wanted to convey the great experience of yesterday doing a 3-hour tour of Madrid by bicycle. It was the first time we did an activity like this with my daughters aged 12 and 14 and we came back delighted. It was dynamic, super interesting and fantastic directed by Nicolas, great guide.

In English and Spanish, with a complete tour, easy but very educational and always with availability to adapt to our requests. To repeat and to recommend, especially with the friendly Vasiliy, who gave us valuable information about Spanish history, culture and social reality (although from abroad...👏👏🙏) Undoubtedly, the best start of the journey to get to know Madrid or, like us, a different way to see the city that we have already known and visited several times... hele leuke fietstocht met veel uitleg over Madrid en Spanje. Naast park, stambeelden en prachtige gebouwen, ook door de stad gereden en leuke plekjes ontdekt. Gids was top en sprak perfect Engels.

We had nice private bike tour with guide Vasily. There was no Dutch guide available, but it was a fun tour. We visited nice local market in Latina including tapas. Vasily paid close attention to our safety in traffic

Very good time spent with Alfonso. He is a great guide who knows how to convey his love for the city of Madrid! Little more: a typical Spanish walk stop where we could taste sangria and other local specialties. Very good Enterprise organization, and pleasant staff!
