Madrid Prado Museum Entry Ticket With Audio Guide

Highlight of my visit to Madrid. A world class museum experience. Recommend audio tour that describes the major art work from Velasquez to Goya.

We were not supplied with sufficient information. We turned up at our selected time, still had no link for tickets. After 30 mins and 4 phone calls I got 2 links to download tickets and audio tour booked listen through my phone, no headphones. I was not impressed with the way it was handled, I would not have signed up if I knew I had to download more apps. I should have received all information the night before, not 30 mins after the selected tour time

The museum is absolutely a must see experience in Madrid. I spent 3 hours there including a break at the downstairs cafe. The main issue I had was that the tour didn’t line up with a number of art works. So it would say go to room 32 and when I got there the piece he described wasn’t in there. Some I found later by chance but there were a few I couldn’t find. They should update the tour because in the end there were at least three pieces that were not where he said to go.

Audio guide didn't work Help was available but they abandoned the resolution. Advanced planning was worth the ticket to skip the queue

Not worth it. To get the audio guide you have to download an app and then log in…. You have to get an initial code by email which never came… I tried multiple times with no success. Just get tickets directly from the museum.

The audio guide requires you to bring your own head set. Somehow we missed that very important piece! Other wise museum is amazing!!! We spent 2 hours there and probably needed another 2 to complete the second floor.

Museum is amazing (although some confusing layout/map) and audio guide was very good. Be aware that the room numbers indicated in guide aren’t always accurate due to museum changing locations of artwork. Instructions for accessing the museum at the correct door for prepurchased tickets could have been more clear/easier. Be sure to have your EarPods to use audio guide.

The Prado Museum has an impressive collection of paintings, especially works by Velázquez and Goya. There is a lot to see, so it’s worth planning your visit in advance. Booking online lets you select your entry time.

My tour person never bothered to advise what to do if I could not down low the actual tour audio. End up purchasing the audio from the museum themselves. Purchasing this was a waste of my money. They did nothing for me. I should have just purchased my tickets directly with the museum themselves. Save your money, don’t waste your money.

The tickets were easy to access, and the overall experience was well organised. The Prado Museum itself is absolutely amazing, with an incredible collection of artworks and a rich cultural atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Madrid. The museum is incredible and getting tickets beforehand is definitely the way to go! We had some issue being able to get the audio guide so we just did the tour ourselves.

Prado is a must do. Amazing artwork throughout from major European masters. The audio guide commentary of the 12 key artworks was excellent - well paced, informative and instructive. however the audio guide was complicated to download ( many steps from registering to download app, then need to use correct code, which was not clear in the instructions). Should have purchased audio guide from museum itself.

The Prado was fantastic and just fascinating experience. The purchase of tickets proved unreliable. I had to purchase at an additional cost, 3 additional audio machines at the Prado. After downloading APP yo trip we were unable to determine the code from our ticket while standing at the Prado counter. Three of us read the lengthy instructions in the email. We set up the APP BUT the last step was the ticket number. Disappointing additional cost for the audio. The purchase of the tickets made time in the queue easy. We followed the preliminary audio instructions We are out of pocket by 15 Euros.

I received the ticket as an pdf, which worked well. The audio tour came in the form of an app which only covered 13 or so artwork. Worst of all, it didn’t work in the museum (perhaps requiring cell data to log in). I ended up buying the excellent audio tour from the museum for 5 Euros,

Tickets were very difficult to download and retain for use at the gate. We never got to the audio tour because of the time consuming, complicated and extensive instructions. **People need to bring ID to prove their ages. (He is clearly not 18). I asked to pay the difference for my son, instead of just teen under 17 according to our “tour tickets,” and the gate made me pay a whole adult ticket price.

The downloaded tour is out of date and we had to give up and buy a new auto your from the museum. Look at this as entry only. Will be complaining to TripAdvisor as did not get what we paid for 😡

The visit was just okay. It was very crowded and the audio didn't work. I paid additional to have an audio tour, but it was money wasted because of the app issue. I was very disappointed.

Very bad. We couldn't get the tickets TripAdvisor sent me. We also lost the money we had paid for the tickets. If possible, I would like the money for 4 tickets with audio guide. You have my email. (anvalland@me.com)
