Beatrice was excellent. I learned ALOT from her. Her English was excellent and she was very good at explaining the history and painting details.

Itinerary
Your tour starts when you skip the line and enter the Prado art museum, home to one of the greatest collections of European art in the world. Breeze past the crowds and head straight inside to enjoy a full tour of the museum’s highlights. Along the way, you'll meet the masters who have defined Spanish art throughout the centuries, from the court painters of the Spanish Royal Family to legendary artists like Goya, Velazquez, El Greco, Bosch, Tintoretto and more. Your guide will tell you the stories behind the art and help you understand what makes each piece so celebrated—which just isn't possible to do on your own in a museum boasting over 1,000 pieces on display! If you wish, choose the Prado Early Access option for a VIP experience in the Prado Museum where you'll enjoy a guided tour of the galleries one hour before they open to the public.
Leaving the museum, you’ll walk the medieval streets of central Madrid, stopping at famous landmarks like the Plaza Mayor and the Puerta del Sol as your guide tells your story of how the city went from an outpost of a crumbling Moorish empire to the preeminent Catholic power in Europe. And while there's plenty of history to be found in these streets, today the area is one of the city's coolest neighborhoods. You'll also learn how to make the most of it during the rest of your stay as your guide shares tips on where to eat, shop, and relax.
Sightseeing & photo stop.
Stroll towards the heart-stopping Royal Palace, where you'll enter with skip-the-line tickets to explore an incredible collection of paintings and textiles in each room. On your guided visit of the world's largest in-use royal palace, you'll see the palace's impressive chapel, the king's and queen's dressing rooms, the throne room—where bureaucrats are still received by the king and queen today—and more. You'll also hear the story of Madrid's most famous "mayor", King Carlos III, who was instrumental in shaping the modern city you've gotten to know throughout the day.

Jamie was very good and informative!
Jamie was very nice! We had a great tour and everything was explained
Alfonso was an amazing guide! My wife and I had such a fun time, and we learned a lot.
We did the Prado Museum, walking tour and were supposed to do a palace tour but the Palace was closed for a few days making that part not possible. The guide still gave the full tour time by extending both the museum tour and the walking tour. Alfonzo was our guide, and he was excellent!
It was amazing to see the arts of renowned painters. Very beautiful and interesting. Our guide Alfonso is awesome. He gave us really interesting facts about the arts at the Prado Museum and the Royal Palace.
Fantastic guide. Very informative, funny, well-paced, and patient.
"The Prado is my second home" said Maria when we met her outside. And she certainly knew her way around the place - and the art. Her enthusiasm for the artists was infectious and we all learnt a lot. And what a privilege to have the place to ourselves before it opened at ten. Uninterrupted views of Velasquez, Goya and more - with expert analysis of them all. Thank you, Maria!
Smooth, no waiting line, interesting and knowledgeable guide, good walking exercise. Duration is very reasonable and the guide never get us bored.
Nice but lots of walking no time for a snack. I would recommend if you have limited time I. Madrid!!
Great tour and very smooth good knowledge
Mitch was an excellent guide. Very informative.
Guide Maria is wonderful. Her depth of knowledge and ability to describe key points to someone who knows very little about art is amazing. Maria kept the tour moving at a good pace for all participants. I highly recommend Maria and this tour that gives early entry to Prado.
Bring your good walking shoes because putting these two tours together is a must do. Our guide was informative and shared the best of Madrid. We would take the tour again with them.
Amazing experience and Adam was fabulous and very informative
Maria was a great guide, full of energy and knowledge, and her tour was the perfect way to experience a taste of Madrid in the little free time I had during a work trip.
We covered a lot of information from 15tj century artists to modern day royal receptions at the palace and a good stretch of the city on between. Our guide was very knowledgeable and energetic. Overall a great way to spend time in Madrid.
Outstanding tour experience. Alfonso was an excellent and engaging tour guide who was full of interesting information, especially about the artwork in the Prada. He made the tour extremely enjoyable. Great weather which made the walk fun and enjoyable and being able to see different sights.
We had an amazing tour with Alfonso. He was extremely knowledgeable and charismatic. Aside from the Prado Museum and Royal Palace, he also educated us on current social issues in Spain on our walk between the two locations. The length of the tour was great, though you may want to end up making a full day of the Prado afterwards. Really wonderful overall, I highly recommend!
Our guide was insanely fun! He was informative and very knowledgeable he helped us constantly and was still speedy
Professional knowledgeable money money worth spent
We booked this for our first morning in Madrid : it was for me, my husband and our 13 year old. Our guide Rosita was fun, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, patient, excellent. It was a very small group and it is an absolute treat to enter the prado before it opened. We had the place all to ourselves which meant we could appreciate the art in our own time and space: so rare in this day and age. It can be super overwhelming sometimes to go to these museums with hundreds of rooms and thousands of artworks, but Rosita structured it brilliantly with a great story so it was a wonderful experience. We then went to the palace, which is also massive (over 3000 rooms) and so much history and so many people. Luckily booking this tour means we bypass the long queue and again Rosita whipped us through with her great stories, knowledge, details we would have missed, humour and great pace. We finished the tour feeling we have learnt a lot and it was a very positive experience, even for our 13 year old! Please book this tour you will not regret it and we fully recommend Rosita who made the whole thing so special and worth while for us. 🤩
Fantastic tour! Our tour guide was amazing and extremely knowledgeable! We got to see so much at a great pace!
Isabella was fantastic. We enjoyed all the detailed information about the art of Velasquez and Goya at the Prado, then her expertise of the Habsburg collection.
Isabele was very welcoming, considerate and extremely knowledgeable. She displayed a knowledge and love for the art and her city along with the history that enables you to understand and feel the art. I would highly recommend booking this tour with Isabele
Isabel was incredibly knowledgeable about Madrid's art and history. The only thing that would have made this better was food.
Great and informative! There are too many artifacts in the museum to see on your own, so it is useful to have someone knowledgable to describe the history and point out highlights.
Our guide David was very informative and helped give recommendations for our stay. Would definitely recommend this tour. Only suggestion would be to have better explanation on how the ticketing process works as that was not completely clear.
David was the best ! Very interesting and informative Great tour. David was very patient and showed us around with enthusiasm and sincerity. I would recommend the store to all.
David was wonderful, professional and very knowledgeable
Very informative tour of the Prado Museum and Royal Palace. About 1 1/2 mile walk between the two with some uphill at the start so if you have any difficulty walking not for you
We really enjoyed our tour. Jaime our tour guide was knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable.
the audio utilized for the group would go out, if you were not close to the guide. the tour was good, as it gained access to the palace without having to wait on line. Although we went in October, it was crowded. The Prado, can be done on your own with the audio they offer there.
Awesome, great tour experience.
We had a great time exploring the Prado Museum and the Palace. Our guide was patient (10 ppl in our group) and very knowledgeable. The time went faster than I expected.
Alphonso is a talented, wonderful guide and the museum and palace were fantastic. I would do it again.
Alfonso was the best guide- braxton
Luis Morales was an absolutely fabulous guide! The second half of the tour ended up being private for us and he was really engaging and answered all our questions. We truly enjoyed learning from him and he was very knowledgeable about not only the exhibitions and history, but also different things to note around the city with recommendations for the rest of our trip. Would definitely recommend!
Florin is the best! We thought he was a art student. Perfect tour! We had a person who was not walking well and he was patient and kind. He was very knowledgeable but also entertaining. I would definitely recommend
Our guide never showed up at the Goya statue outside the ticket office. I called 8 minutes after our assigned time and was told she was late. I called 30 minutes after our assigned time and was told she waited for us and we didn’t show up. There was no walk and Devour guide at the Goya statue, not sure where they were but they went to the wrong place or didn’t show up at all. We had not then wait in line 40 minutes and purchase Prado tickets ourselves at extra expense. We never got our tour. Terrible experience.
Great tour. Started with t the Prado museum, took a narrated stroll through the historic district, and finished with a tour of the Royal Palace. Guides were extremely and very articulate.
Guide was very informative. Made it interesting.
Great experience. Learnt a lot about Spanish history.
Excellent and proper understanding of the story behind the paintings . Alfonso M was superb , very enjoyable , thorough and knowledgeable . Recommended!!!
Alfonso was wonderful, engaging, and expanded my knowledge beyond what art documentaries have shown me previously.
Hit the highlights today. Lots of walking but well worth it. Guide was very knowledgeable and thorough.
Definitely a must do if you only have a day. It highlights Madrid and our guide was very informative. Would recommend
The description of the paintings goes on for too long standing in one spot when most of the people are ready to move on to the next room. Too much information that gets a little boring and people were losing interest. The tour guide was great and very nice and the tour was far better when you leave the museum and go into the city heading to Presidential Palace. The best part was the Presidential Palace and the tour moved faster.
This was one of the best, if not the best tour we've taken this year. Getting in early to the PRADO was worth the price of the tour alone. Our guide knew art so well. We learned a lot about the paintings in the museum and their history. We would have never known the stories of many of the paintings he showed us. Then the Palace tour was also exceptional - the palace was very crowded. I suggest getting the tour because you get to skip the line.
Ernesto was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and professional. Kept an eye on the whole group and made sure it was a good experience for all.
