The night route is almost identical to the historic route and even the commentary tells you to get off when you cannot. Madrid is lovely to see lit up in the evening and worth the tour.
The address when used on Uber took us to a different location and we missed the trip. I have sent four messages over the last 24hours+ requesting for accommodation in the trip two days later. However, no one is responding to the messages. As if the messages are going into a black hole. No one picks up the calls either. I’m from US with limited time here. I wish there was some consideration.
There are no stops. So any photos need to be taken while bus moving or maybe lucky if stopped at traffic light. Also many tree lined streets which obstructed views. There are some beautiful buildings but not many opportunities to get good photos.
Crowded and noisey bus. Hard to take photos because of traffic narrator had interesting history and explanations
A great introduction to Madrid on our first night. Sit upstairs and enjoy the nighttime atmosphere, especially along Gran Vía. It’s an easy way to get the lay of the land and we’d highly recommend it for first-time visitors. The tour is fairly brief and the commentary is pre-recorded, so don’t expect much customization, but as an orientation to the city it was perfect.
Very nice, helpful tour guides. We enjoyed the top of the bus to see the city at night. Sometimes the talking did not match up with the exact spot where the bus was on the road due to traffic but that’s to be expected. It was informative and a nice way to spend the evening.
It was OK I likely wouldn’t do it again. I would much rather have done the day bus because at least in August in Madrid, the city doesn’t light up as other seasons.
Awesome! It was amazing I must do. I’m really glad that we did it. Took us to places that we might not have otherwise been able to see in Madrid. Lots of great history and entertaining audio.
My headphone plug was clogged, so I couldn't listen to the audio guide during the tour. Also it isn't really a "night" tour - at least not in August. If you await illuminated buildings, you have them at best within the last 10 minutes.
Good tour, late about an hour and ten minutes. Very informative, but if your doing it in summer go on top otherwise you will melt on the lower deck.
Great way to start your trip in Madrid. It was still so hot at 8:30pm in August so get a seat under the open air top!!!
It was a relaxing tour of Madrid. Easily booked with flexible payment terms. The commentary was informative and staff were helpful throughout.
Good experience to do at night when your feet are tired! The bus was comfortable, be sure to check your headset on the seat as a few were not working. Sit on the left side of the bus. The tour was ok, depending on traffic or stoplights the narrative might not be in sync, but overall it was a good overview of the history of the city. There is no stopping so keep your cameras ready if you want pics. :)
Not very good narrative from the tour operator and I messaged them that night in regards to a lost passport and they never replied.
The tour bus was a great choice after being tired from walking around Madrid. It was relaxing, comfortable, and the audio guide made it easy to learn about the city’s history while resting and enjoying the views. A very comfortable way to get to know the city better!
Excellent tour Great guide. Would highly recommend this tour. Lots of fun and informative guide. Book Viator!!
I booked this trip for our wedding anniversary weekend trip . We arrived at the meeting point stated on the ticket or booking . The bus was due to leave at 9pm so we arrived at 8.30 !! No sign of the bus or bus stop . We walked up and down the road where it was supposed to be and nothing at all . Asked a few bus drivers and customers waiting for other buses but they wasn’t helpful. Totally disappointed and very angry and upset, complete waste of time and money.
While the tour guide was lovely, sitting up top with her downstairs and only hearing her through a speaker located behind me I didn’t hear most of the tour. More speakers are needed upstairs. Took lots of pretty pictures and knew most of the buildings as I had done the day tour.
The full circuit ride took us all around so we saw some amazing places. The tour guide Valentina was our host. It was hard to understand all of the English because it was so muffled on the speakers.
Paula was a fantastic guide, the city at night looks beautiful 100% recommended. Most monuments are light up and the ride was very pleasant
We were disappointed with this tour bus experience. Most of the highlights were on the left side and it was dark we thought we see enough with the lightning , so from our seats we could hardly see anything. The guide Olga, was speaking extremely loud (maybe due to the speaker system), but also very, very fast, making it almost impossible to understand, even in English there were more people who thought the same. Overall, it was frustrating and not worth the time or money.
Visibility from the upper deck of the bus is poor. It was a beautiful night, and I would’ve rather have been in open air bus. Ours had frosted plexiglass ceiling and obstructions when looking out the window. Our guide’s commentary was 2/3 Spanish 1/3 English and although I could understand the Spanish, my partner didn’t get nearly as much out of the tour.
It was very fun tour with Christian. Even with the crazy heat you can enjoy the breeze and learn a little.
Our guide Michelle was nice but laughed throughout the tour and it made it hard to understand her speech. The bus driver did an awesome job driving .
We loved the Madrid night tour! Dami was an amazing tour guide. Her presentation was funny and personable. She was engaging with all of the participants and very knowledgeable. She is truly a Spanish Monument!
We got to see great architecture around the city. It was a great ride around the city, but we couldn’t hear a thing. We heard something about how Madrid FC celebrates a win at a place, but couldn’t tell what that place was or is called.
Javi was a good tour director. He spoke first in Spanish then in English. It would have been helpful if he spoke slower since English was difficult to understand. Many sights to see; the evening views and sights were fantastic, especially Gran Via, with everything lit up—really worthwhile.
Went on the night tour which on a hot night sounded the best option .Sites all on the left hand side so unless you are on the totally open bus you can't really see anything very well if seated on the right . There are no stops which we knew but no real chance to stand and take a photo either. Commentary was good in the main but seemed to be a lot about the guide rather than the history. Very fast pace giving you little to no time to see anything as it sped past. Could be city regulatory driven to go at that speed but felt like the driver and guide were rushing to be done and home as we arrived back 10 minutes earlier than suggested. Beautiful city and gave some indication of the sites . Would be better at a slightly slower pace which still would not have impacted the surrounding traffic. Been to much better ones in other cities. Would recommend to get orientated but sit on the left and prepare for blurred photos .
Great option to see the iconic places of any city. Excelent time (night) to avoid the heat in the summer
We had a great tour guide Juan. He was singing and making quizzes for us, he's English knoleage was on a great level.
Tour started 35 mins late due to overbooking. Microphone was static at times and not clear,. City sights were pretty lit up at night but towards the end it was too dark due to starting late.
Afternoon evening timing gives very interesting lighting of sights as sunset approaches. Bus had individual audio translations for every seat which WERE NOT USED. Heavily accented guide spoke VERY FAST first in English then repeated in Spanish. The pop songs played were an irrelevance. The history and other commentary that we managed to hear was satisfactory. The bus meeting point was a shambles as all passengers had to jog 500m up the road to where the bus was actually parked.
Christina the tour guides English is not good. If she spoke more slowly and at a lower pitch I think it would be ok but I barely understood most of what she said and neither did the English speakers nearby. She spoke at the same speed as when she spoke Spanish
Love it the tour was great the guide e was awesome will do it again in the future highly recommended it
Really interesting tour. Lots of walking, a ton of history. I won’t say I’m an expert on Spanish history now, but I’m sure smarter than before. Melissa was our tour guide—- incredibly knowledgeable, very funny, dramatic, very easy to learn listening to her. Highly recommend.
Very good tour! Paula was great. Tour was excellent. It is very cold on March but get a good coat. Todo maravilloso no se lo pierdan.
This was a nice way to end the day with some highlights. Juan, the guide, was informative and a good performer. There was no time to take photos.
Fantadtic. Dami was a great and entertaing tour guode. Brava! She took us around all of the major points onthe bus even though there was a matharon. Highly recommend.
I was in night tour at 29 march! The guide Paula was great!!!The tour was great in general thank you for everything wish you the best!!!
Very nice panorama and Paola the guide was very nice and informative. She was a wealth of knowledge about her country. The bus passed through the most important sites
Great tour and the speaker was exceptional and very knowledgeable!! Will definitely recommend this to others friends and family.
We never went on this tour you guys changed time and failed to notify us. I called that same night. You stated you had to investigate it. I will never recommend your company. I'm demanding my refund of47.92 Shame on you for stating it was completed. Olga Ostos
I am still waiting for refund of $74.01 for a trip we could not take as it left an hour earlier than notified, can't find a refund for said amount. Could someone please look into this there is refund in my a/c for $53 but not your amount.
Definitely bring a coat because the driver is doing race car delivering with a bus. All the views are obstructed and not actually not discussed very well. The narrator was very dry. It was almost like he didn’t want to be involved. He was not interested nor even pointing things out completely it’s definitely not worth and can be skipped
Big bus tours are a great way to familiarize yourself with a city and get some great knowledge about the things/places you see during your tour.
The tour was supposed to be English. The guide spoke mostly Spanish the entire ride and didn’t stop to breathe. It was very stressful full and not very enjoyable. She broke up explaining in English and Spanish but not all of the information was provided so it got confusing. Not very many sites to see. Was not as it was described. Would not recommend.
This time if the year (Sept) really works well for this. Lion/ Leon was a great guide. Tour is about 75mins long and covers the major avenues and sites but strangely did not point to the Prado and Reina Sofia museums that were right there. Would recommend to use the night time well. Monuments are very well lit.
The guid, Lion was very entertaining! Our experience was very positive. His Enlish was very good and he could interact well with people from different countries.
Nice views of the city with lights. Enjoyable pace, with good accompanying commentary in English and Spanish.
