The tour by Carlota was very interesting. Tried local liquor, visited some places that are not very obvious for tourists, and found out a lot about Madrid's history, yet without any boring stuff. Definitely recommend it!

Paula knew a lot and she brought energy and excitement even though we had just landed that morning. Sh was able to share not only historical knowledge but also random present day fun facts.
What a fabulous tour of Madrid! We did the Madrid Essentials tour with Carlota in the evening slot (7:30-10pm) and it was just perfect!👌 Carlota showed us many historical sights, shared photos for context, provided a lot of helpful information - it didn’t even feel like 2.5 hours! I went on the walk along with my parents and all three of us were fully emersed the entire time. Key highlights for us: - Interesting stories and historical significance that Carlota shared about Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor - Carlota took us to El Madrono where we tried the local liquor, “ Licor de madroño” - Spanish liqueur made from the arbutus berries of the Madroño (strawberry tree). - We enjoyed seeing old establishments (over 100 years) such as La Posada del Peine (the oldest hotel in Madrid) and Sobrino de Botin (the oldest restaurant in the world!) - Loved the end of the tour on top of a hill facing the Royal Palace and a gorgeous sunset ❤️ We are so grateful to Carlota for such an enjoyable evening! Lovely way to spend our last night in Madrid. She also shared a list of recommendations with google map links for restaurants, places to see etc- so recommend doing the tour on Day 1 😊
Excellent historical background to each area of interest. Guide was remarkably friendly and put everything into historical and current events context. Excellent!
It was a very interesting and fun tour, it not only explained the history of important parts of Madrid but also made us feel as if we were living it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I give it a 10/10

I took part in a tour led by Carlota (in English). It was a very interesting experience and a great introduction to the city. Carlota was very helpful and prepared, not only for what she told us during the visit but also because she gave us further advice on what to do next. Experience and guidance highly recommended!

Very interesting the tour and very pleasant and prepared John the Guide. We would repeat other tours with him. Very well organized and documented.
Carlota the Guide very enjoyable in its explanations and a very nice person, recommended one hundred percent, and dominates the history of the Austrians
Excellent city tour Juan is a very trained person and conveys much history of Madrid on his walking tours. Super recommended for those who do not want to get on a bus and whether to enjoy history at every step and in every corner of this beautiful European capital.
Very complete tour with Juan Diego I recommend!! The guide is very friendly and knows a lot! There were many very complete explanations
We booked a private tour in English and it was a great experience. We went with a group of students and Andrea, our guide, in addition to speaking perfect English, knew how to adapt to our needs at all times. He made the tour enjoyable and entertaining and even included a game to capture the students' attention. If we organize the activity again, without a doubt, we will repeat with Trip Tours. Congratulations on your work, Andrea!
