Our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable of Madrid and showed us all of the significant landmarks.

Friendly, knowledgeable local guide who took us to a variety of historical places in Madrid. Our guide was flexible as we were not able to tour the Royal Palace so we wlkoto others places and stopped in a coffee shop and cafe for a drink and snack at the end of our tour.
We had the most fabulous time with Enrique! A friend had told me that she had taken this private tour & loved it. We took a chance & we are so grateful we did! Enrique picked us up at our hotel & off we went. The time flew by because it was just like wandering through the streets of Madrid with a very knowledgeable friend. We went through parts of town I never would have known about & learned about the history for the buildings you otherwise would pass by without knowing the amazing things that had happened there. Enrique also gave us such great local suggestions for places to eat & drink during our stay. My only regret is that we didn’t do it our first day when we arrived so that we could go back to the sites we went past. Mil gracias Enrique!!
An extraordinary experience on an extraordinary day in an extraordinary city with an extraordinary tour guide
zthis tour was amazing. Our guide was Angel, and he adjusted to our preference. First time in Madrid, and he did an amazing job of explaining the history associated to everything we would see, and showed impressive knowledge with non-spanish history/art associations. Would definetly recommend.
Enrique is incredibly gifted at telling the vast stories of Madrid’s history. He is very engaging and took very good care of us throughout the tour.
This was a wonderful tour. The guide was a wonderful historian and we learned a lot. Well worth the money
Excellent guide! Covered areas and history we would never have known about otherwise. She had a breadth of knowledge and shared her experiences living in the neighborhood.
Enrique provided a great walking tour sharing the history and important key places in Central Madrid. We did our tour after being delayed on a red eye flight where the airlines lost our luggage. Enrique even helped us find a warm scarf, so I would not be uncomfortably cold. A great 4 hours well spent.
Enrique’s in depth knowledge , passion , and local authentic feel of Madrid is one of a kind. His historical , architectural and artistic expertise is amazing and yet he always makes it fun and relatable One of the best tour guides ever !
Inesto (natcho) was AMAZING!! Loved every single second of him.. he has so much info and we walked over 5 miles... didn’t even realize but would not change a thing.. he is so informative, personal , and one of the BEST. Tour guides we have ever had.. we wouldn’t change a thing and learned sooo much.. with my husband being a history buff ... omg this was right up his alley!!! 5++ stars for sure
Sophie should be paid double whatever she currently is making. She knew the history and every corner of Madrid. Walk was organized, fun and lighthearted Her English is impeccable. We are going to miss her
Loved our private tour with Enrique who spoke excellent English, and was informative about everything we saw. We walked for four hours with him through the 'Lettres' area of Madrid and learned about Cervantes, and other famous poets and writers. We learned many historical and local facts, and we walked a great deal which was terrific.
We had a great tour with Enrique. He was very passionate about the history of Madrid and took us to many different areas. The highlight was when he took us to one of the local market areas and we had a sample of wine and tapas. I thought this was excellent and really made the tour complete.
Enrique gave us a great introduction to Madrid on our first day in the city. We let him know we were especially interested in history and politics, and he tailored his commentary to that, providing lots of useful context for what we were seeing. This was not a bland, canned tour- he shared his opinions and perspectives. It was more like a rich conversation with a knowledgeable friend who lives in the city.
A great 4 hour walk around Madrid with our Guide, Nacho. Lots of information and interesting places; we were taken to a roof top for great views over Madrid and introduced to Basque cuisine. The pick-up and drop-off at our Hotel was a great benefit. The 'Hickey Family' from Australia.
Enrique is full of information about restaurants and culture. Wonderful stops in the plazas and some shops. Lots of walking. I recommend the tour

We were looking for a convenient way to get to know Madrid and to understand it's history and local life at the start of our 5 day visit. Enrique met us at our hotel and the tour and education he provided us far exceeded our expectations. He is a passionate historian and Spaniard! We especially liked being shown the differences between the tourist Madrid and the real Madrid. We stopped for a drink and Tapas at the Mercado de la Cebada, a local market. This was one of the best walking tours we have ever been on, and we would highly recommend it to all.

We did the 4 hour walking tour in Madrid with Enrique and had a wonderful experience. Despite it being cold and rainy on the day of our tour, Enrique made the time fly by. He is passionate about what he does and extremely knowledgeable about food, which made the tour particularly interesting for us. I highly recommend this tour, and next time would definitely do one of the food-geared tours that they offer.

super friendly guide, we walked through the old streets, learn some stories about the city and walked in some museums, i recommend this tour if you have limited time in madrid and want to walk a little bit

Our guide was Enrique, and he met us punctually at our hotel lobby . He asked us a few basic questions to see what we wanted to cover, and from then on, we were completely in his capable hands for 4 hours. His passion for Spain and its history were evident in every thing he described, and he balanced his local & personal knowledge with our preferences, perfectly! He gave us written recommendations for restaurants and “must see” places which we would never have found in our own. Highly recommended!
I only had 2-days in Madrid so I decided to book a tour. I'm so glad that I did. Ignatius, my guide, was very informative and tailored the tour to my requirements. He took me to places that most tourists don't know even exist. I can highly recommend this tour.

This was a helpful orientation to Madrid and we now know roughly where things are and have a better sense of how to plan our time. Our guide was just mediocre.

Marta did a fantastic job moving at our pace and ducking into a great bar/restaurant for tapas when a storm shower made it too wet outside. Marta accommodated our request for hot chocolate and churros while taking us to all the highlights of Madrid. She was very accommodating while making sure we saw as much as possible. Very easy to understand her English, we highly recommend her as a guide.

Our guide Enrique was both passionate and knowledgeable about Spanish history, literature, architecture and art. Our tour was customised to our requirements and developed around the themes of history and architecture, and exceeded our hopes and expectations. We felt that we had been exposed to Madrid in a way we could not possibly have achieved on our own. We would definitely recommend this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our history and legends walking tour. Our guide, Enrique was knowledgeable and friendly. He tailored our tour so that we didn't duplicate items on a second tour we are taking with a group we will be traveling with. He gave us clear instructions for the Metro and he left us with directions to get back on our own to our hotel. It forced us to get to know the area better. We used that info to do more exploring on our own the next two days. He also recommended sights for us to see based on our interests.

Tour was with Yolanda who was brilliant. She is an Art Historian and had a fantastic depth of knowledge and enthusiasm. The customised tour was everything we wanted and more. Brilliant job!

One of the best tours I have done in all my travels. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable of Spanish history, the city of Madrid and Spanish food and wine. He actually extended the tour for more then a half hour as there's so much to see and we were grateful that he did. The guide took us to places that regular tourist would never see even though they were near the main sights. It was a wonderful day and I was able to take many great photos along the way. This tour should not be missed if you're planning on a trip to Madrid.

Excellent view of the historic center of Madrid that make you move to times of centuries past, knowing customs and chacarrillos.
