From Madrid El Escorial Valle De Los Caídos & Segovia Day Trip

This was an amazing journey. Three important historical sites in one day. A lot was learned and discovered during the day. Our guide Romero was very organized, knowledgeable and funny. Use of the audio equipment supplied by the agency was very helpful, especially in larger venues. The bus was newer and was pumping the AC full throttle. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience. Our Guide Romero was very knowledgeable about all three sites we visited. It was a full day but worth it. Highly recommend, especially if you’re interested in local Spanish history. Shout out to our driver Jose - Transported us all safely.

The show was exhilarating!!! Dancers gave the best show with their skill and charm . The drama shows on their facial expressions. The dinner was excellent . I had the best paella !! Very good service by the staff. There was some confusion about my reservation but they were able to fix it. I would highly recommend this place for the experience

It was a good day trip but make sure that you book with only the language you select (or inquire first before booking). I thought that was what we selected, and it turned out to be a bilingual tour. It certainly made for a longer day with both languages being spoken by the guide. Because of that, I think that we didn't have enough free time to explore Segovia, which was a bit rushed at the end. I think if only one language was provided, it would have been a better experience for everyone. I would still recommend this tour if only one language is spoken.

The ac did not work and news was reporting a heat wave. Very unprofessional. Stated it would stop every 30 minutes and it did not. Other bus companies stopped every 20. They did not stop in every location. They skipped some if they didn’t “see anyone” requesting a bus ride.

Ramiro gave a terrific tour! He is fun and knowledgable. His speaks clearly and loudly with or without the device. He wants us to learn about El Escorial and Segovia. They are beautiful, historical sites and he describes the history and nuances in depth. We highly recommend the tour, and requesting him for your guide.

Great trip. Nicely paced, informative and great value. Really enjoyed the day with Tamara as our guide. She switched fluently from Spanish to English, back to Spanish. She worked very hard and was clear and was a wonderful guide.

You get to see sites not as common on other tours: El Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen, in addition to visiting Segovia. Our tour, unfortunately, started a half hour late and then was rushed, resulting in no bathroom breaks, even after 3.5 hours of traveling/touring. We booked an English speaking tour, but everyone else was Spanish speaking, so a lot of the tour was in Spanish. Despite booking a smaller tour, we were merged with a large group on the way back. Our guide seemed pretty indifferent. Overall, the sites were great, but the delivery left a lot to be desired.

Very extended tour at Escorial, Valley and Segovia. Really professional Alejandro the guide was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. He poured knowledge the whole time translating in both English and Spanish for me it was helpful his English was extremely clear. He even offered us portable chargers on the bus! Would absolutely recommend not only the big bus tour but especially one with Alejandro Thank you so so much for the beautiful and fun day on my next trip to Spain you’ll definitely see me again!

It was an excellent trip and great value for money as well as saving us a lot of hassle in working out how to do a 3-site day. We were also lucky to get the wonderful Jorge as our guide, who's not only extremely knowledgeable and a lovely guy but also able to joke in multiple languages. Strongly recommended.

Great tour Our guide was Cristina and it was excellent, very patient and knowledgeable. She was very good handling certain inconveniences that came along and handle the group very well

First of all the tour I bought stated it was a 11hr. Day trip, we started 1 hr. Later and our driver got lost a couple of times, so we lost a bit with those issues. We end up changing buses in our way back so we had to adjust our schedule to the other group and end up coming back way earlier than expected. I purposely bought a day trip to be able to enjoy without rushing but I had a speeding experience instead. The tour guide guy Nacho was very knowledgeable and kind but the company in charge lack of organization and costumer service made this experience a 3/10.

It was terrible, they theoretically offered me a discount for being a group of 6 people and I purchased them at 28 euros instead of 33, and when I was waiting in line, a person came to ask the price and they offered them the same tour for 21 dollars; when I mentioned it to him, he told me that it all depended on who you bought them from and that it was too bad, the salesperson on the street of Gran Vía, when I requested his name he lied to me about his name, for everything he said, I advise you not to use Big Bus, they are scammers.

Segovia requires one more day there is a lot to see when arriving to take the bus they asked us to pay extra the tickets we had no inconvenience but when we arrived at the Alcazar de Segovia they told us that this ticket was not covered for us for the rest of the tour if what we were strange they should have informed us to cover the line was huge so it was impossible to enter
